I love this little onion hoe. It is well made, sturdy and easy to hang up. I use it to supplement general hoeing and it is very useful and accurate close to plants. It has a slightly longer handle than a hand fork so I can reach further and works quite well on baked soil

I’ve been looking for something that can easily tackle weed seedlings around my larger plants and between rows. This hand hoe allows you to clear a lot of ground quickly while still having control – and you’re much closer to the action so less chance of accidentaly hitting the non-weeds.
It seems well made – handle is reasonably comfortable – feels like it will last a long time as long as it’s used for its intended purpose. You can’t go wrong at this price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersStrong and sturdy, it tackles with ease everything from weeds, roots and stones.
It’s helped me to dig troughs (for a poly tunnel frame) and holes to put plants in the ground. Great product!

I remember my dad having one of these when I was a kid, so I wanted one when I got my allotment. This is sturdy and easy to handle. Great tool for delicate hoeing.

Great tool at a great price, had it for a good 6 months now and been using it lots every week. Still going strong and for the price you cannot go wrong

This tool is ideal, very pleased with it. I bought it to scrape thick moss off a nearby parking area, but can think of plenty other jobs it will be useful for. Very good value too.

I bought this to dig our ground elder from my garden, and I am working my way around a border, where the ground elder is growing through perennial geraniums. I wanted to get much closer to the weeds than with a standard height hoe, where I can’t differentiate the weeds from the flowers. It is what I wanted, though whether I will eradicate all the weeds is a different question.

This is the perfect tool when you just want to get down in between plants in the middle of summer and do a quick hoe. Well made and fantastic value for money

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersNot a precision tool, but quite well made. It is totally manual. Doesn’t take standard batteries, doesn’t have wifi or Bluetooth. Doesn’t come in a gorgeous, expensive presentation case. Probably won’t last for 200 years.

It’s a garden tool . . . The paint finish will inevitably flake off. It will be mistreated and probably buried in a compost heap by mistake . . . it only cost a few quid. Why give less than 4 stars because the delivery driver wasn’t wearing Gucchis?

Came early, well packed, solidly constructed, just the job for hoeing raised beds. In a wheelchair or on a stool and arms too short to reach the back of the bed? This is just the job for the pesky out of reach weeds.

Useful little tool that is surprising hard to find in the shops. It is just what you want when you want it (if that makes sense). Well made and comfortable to use.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOnion hoes are quite the best for hand weeding especially when the edge has been sharpened on a grinding machine. It is a pity that the handle is not painted red, it is so easy to lose small equipment in the garden. However, despite this, I am very pleased and it is particularly well constructed so it should last years.

This model has a shorter shaft than my existing 20 year old model, which would not affect use unless you have joint problems and find the ground is further away than it used to be. But as the head gardener of the household was happy to take charge of my shiny new hoe and I have gone back to the rather worn and trusty old one, we have universal happiness.
