Robust locking grips
I’ve been using a pair of adjustable grips that don’t lock for years. These are so much better. It’d be nice if the grips were a little longer but for for a tenner I’m not complaining.
This is just an adjustable spanner. When I try to get grip of a pipe , the central quick release push button kicks in and release the jaws and just losses the grip . So cannot be used as grips !!!!

Reasonably priced. Not much different to elsewhere but was just easier to purchase through Amazon.
Comfortable to use and the adjuster locks in to place the various size settings well.
Doesn’t fell loose as though they’re going to fall apart any time soon.

Purchased as part of a tool set I made for my husband I ended up getting all the individual items of this make and he was really pleased. There good quality and well made
I have left it this long to write my review due to seeing how they cope with use every day and they started off well but after using them for a while they keep on slipping open all the way so it’s nearly impossible to grip anything now so this product has the thumbs down from me I wish I spent a bit more money getting a decent set of grips I only brought theses due to the brand I thought they would of been good but I was disappointed with the outcome.

Use these for installing (and removing) SWA cable glands as I’m an electrician, brilliant, cheaper but just as good as the CK ones, might last slightly less time than the ck ones by the feel of them, still great purchase
This is my second pair of these 8 inch grips. I would fully recommend them even if they’re just kept in your tool bag as they always come in handy when regular grips are too big. Last pair lasted around 3 years of regular construction site use and only failed when dropped from scaffolding.

I purchased these to replace a cheap set that I picked up years ago and I’m really pleased with them, they are comfortable to use feel well put together and grip really well, I like the push lock adjustment button just makes them much easier to adjust than the old pair, I only use the pliers for occasional DIY purposes so for me the price is as much as I’d want to pay and the quality is more than sufficient I’m sure a plumber using them daily would want something better and would pay a lot more money.

The lock is amazing and light years better than some of the other pairs on the market, only downfall is the slight rattle as the pliers are slightly loose but dont hinder its use.
Good value
For the money these are pretty good, half the price of the better makes and not quite as good a quality but still a very good pair of grips and worth getting if you don’t need the best or want to spend over 20.

A good set of gland pliers. One of the best I have used. I bought all three sizes and all come in useful. They lock into size, so when needing to tighten many things at the same size, the pliers don’t slip into another size. Just less annoying and more productive than other ones.
