So far so good previously had set of these on a key chain, with each Alan key separate, that was very flimsy and after a few weeks nearly all have fallen off or disappeared. This on the other hand seems far more likely to last.

The folding arrangement means you cant get a lot of torque on the key – but for most things its good enough.
I picked this up in the black Friday sale and it’s been extremely useful already. I’ve had sets of hex keys previously but they normally come on the flimsiest of key change wires and you always end up taking them off to use them, then of course they get lost from the set. This is much more reliable to actually use as a long term tool, and even though it might not fit in every situation, for a price this low it’s well worth it. Also it is sturdy and the quality you would expect from a Stanley product.
Loose hex keys are the main complaint in this product review, if this happens you just tighten the tool, though ironically you need a hex key to do this and the product can’t tighten itself.
I was so fed up of not being able to find the right Allen key – this is a god send. You have to be careful with the thinner ones as feels like they may break off the unit. But a brilliant tool for many many jobs
As pointed out by other reviewers, the allen keys become loose once the thin cardboard sales bumpf is removed. This is remedied by tightening the housing using…..you guessed it…..an allen key ha ha. Someone at Stanley has a sense of humour obviously.
The Stanley tool brand has been around all my seven decades on this earth, so I know it is still synonymous with quality. I purchased these to adjust the alignment on our upvc kitchen door, & needed the muscle power that my standard set of hexagonal keys couldn’t provide. Made the nervy job a lot easier. A good choice of metric sizes, & comfortable to use. Well pleased.
