I wanted weights that weren’t clumsy, heavy or which gave the impression of ‘serious’ weights work. I just want to get fitter and hand weights like these are part of that process. These are so neat and easy to adjust. They are nice to handle and switch around. Of course you pay more for these than the more mainstream dumbbell disk and nut style – but I wanted compact and you only get what you pay for when you are prepared to pay for it. I don’t plan on buying any more!
I bought the 15kg single. I’ve had my eyes on these for awhile and I’m definitely glad I got these over other dumbbells. Most dumbbells are too bulky and taking plates on and off is a hassle but northdeer have done this well!
Taking plates on and off is super quick and you can perform your exercises better due too them not being big and bulky like most dumbbells and the rubber bands are a nice extra to help protect floor from damage.
I plan to get the other pair and eventually the barbell as I’m really happy with this product!
I’ve only use them for a week so far but they’re very easy to use. It takes less time to adapt the weight than with other adaptable dumbbells. I really like how compact they are. Overall a great product!

These are genuinely the best dumbells I have ever bought. Easy to use. Interchangeable. Easy to undo the plates and re apply the plates.
I bought the 25kg dumbell x 2.
I use them at home for weight training.
The rubber band is good for stopping then damaging the floor or being damage by the floor. They come pre oiled to stop them seizing together.
My only gripe is that they don’t give you a small lubricant, to help keep them from seizing, although you can buy some if needed.
Nice size handles.
The dumbells are small enough to perform alot of the exercises properly, by that I mean they aren’t too bulky to interfere with the exercise.
I chose these dumbells because the supplier sells additional weights that you can screw on later if required. They are well constructed and look great as well in the chrome finish . The rubbers soften the impact when you put them down which is good, do not come off if you handle the weights carefully, but can easily be removed if you don’t want them. Thoroughly recommend.
Got 2 of these and they are great. The handle is cushioned and they are very good quality. If you switch weights a lot then they will be inconvenient but I tend to do sets so only need to change weight once or twice, that’s easy to do as well. Would recommend.
Highly recommended to you. Excellent quality. Easy to assemble to the desired weight, thick rubber bands which go around the weight stack allow you to put them on the floor without getting scratched. Delivered really quickly and well packaged. 5
Not only do these dumbells look the part they are great to use. They are a very integral part of my my home fitness workout. The soft grips work extremely well in terms of both comfort and grip and the rubber ring protectors ensure that surfaces are not damaged by the steel weights. These dumbells absolutely meet my needs!
They seem well made and the parts come apart smoothly so far. I might put some grease or ptfe tape on the screw threads at some point just to be on the safe side but I haven’t yet and seems ok. I don’t tighten them much at all and they stay in place.
It doesn’t take long to change the weight but it isn’t something you would want to keep doing throughout your workout. If that’s something you want to do then I think it would get quite annoying with this style of adjustment.
They look good and comfortable to hold, and although they are quite expensive I am happy with them. There’s no carry case which doesn’t bother me but worth considering.
I purchased a pair of the 10KGs in Jan 2022 and my wife and I have been using them 3 or 4 times a week ever since.
Very impressed with the quality of them and having bought cheaper different brands in my opinion it is worth spending the etc for these.
Will be purchasing another set later on this year, was hoping they would feature in the prime sale so that I could also buy some of the extra weight plates to increase the weight even more.
I got the 15kg (bought a pair) for a start. They are solid, comfortable, and easy to manage. Adding weights is a breeze as well and you can purchase extra add-on weights. The add-on weights for these are 2.5kg due to the circumference matching the existing weights that came with the set. Keep this in mind when adding extra weights, though you can put on the 4kg ones they won’t be uniform. Bit pricy but look fantastic.
A really useful space saving set of dumbbells. After buying these for myself, I bought the smaller 2.5kg ones for my partner to use.
The only issue I have had with them so far was on 2 occasions they have been tightened too much, and have been extremely difficult to separate. On one occasion I had to use a strap spanner (normally used for vehicle fuel filter removal), and the other occasion I had to use some paracord wrapped in opposite directions and taped onto each plate, to loosen them. The instructions say to use WD40 or to tap them lightly on a hard surface, but there was no movement after following those instructions.
I bought the 7.5kg ones so because (i) i’m not very strong (ii) so that my wife could use them in the 3.5kg configuration, they were the sweet spot. I know you can buy an additional weight to take them up to 10kg if necessary. Or the 15kg set which would give us everything we needed. I’m not a body builder but I know I need to do weight work with my age.
I really like these thought. Smart, more compact than anything I have seen and they definitely feel like a dense weight. It’s easy to spin then on and off. I am quite comfortable using them at 6kg configuration (without the two endpieces) for Apple Fitness which involves a fair bit of movement very often.
They are expensive, I’m lucky I can afford them. But they are also high quality.
My minor anoyances are: (i) the rubber bands that can be slipped on between the weights to act as a dampener /bumperwhen you put them down; they slip off reasonably easily. (ii) I hope the foam handle will last well (iii) i wish they had a smart padded case
But I don’t regret buying them and I’ve done a handful of strength training sessions with them so far, I hope to do many more.
