Neat compact weights
I wanted weights that weren’t clumsy, heavy or which gave the impression of ‘serious’ weights work. I just want to get fitter and hand weights like these are part of that process. These are so neat and easy to adjust. They are nice to handle and switch around. Of course you pay more for these than the more mainstream dumbbell disk and nut style – but I wanted compact and you only get what you pay for when you are prepared to pay for it. I don’t plan on buying any more!
These are great value for money, so easy to adjust. I’ve had them for 2 months now and as a beginner have been increasing the weight as I go. Originally I thought they were a bit expensive but compared to equivalents, these are great value for money – such a space saver (and they look nice). My husband also uses them by moving the heavier weights onto the one dumbell to go even higher. You can even buy incremental weights separately.
Good Quality Dumbbells
I bought the 15kg single. I’ve had my eyes on these for awhile and I’m definitely glad I got these over other dumbbells. Most dumbbells are too bulky and taking plates on and off is a hassle but northdeer have done this well!
Taking plates on and off is super quick and you can perform your exercises better due too them not being big and bulky like most dumbbells and the rubber bands are a nice extra to help protect floor from damage.
I plan to get the other pair and eventually the barbell as I’m really happy with this product!
Amazing dumbbells
I’ve only use them for a week so far but they’re very easy to use. It takes less time to adapt the weight than with other adaptable dumbbells. I really like how compact they are. Overall a great product!
This is a good quality, stylish product and great design. It is easy to use and has a number of weight options. For example, the 10kg dumbbells can be adjusted to: 5kg, 7kg, 8kg, 10kg. There are 3 weights on each side of: 1kg, 1.5kg and 2.5kg:
5kg = 2.5kg x 2
7kg = (2.5kg + 1kg) x 2
8kg = (2.5kg + 1.5kg) x 2
10kg = (2.5kg + 1.5kg + 1kg) x2
Best Dumbells I have ever bough
These are genuinely the best dumbells I have ever bought. Easy to use. Interchangeable. Easy to undo the plates and re apply the plates.
I bought the 25kg dumbell x 2.
I use them at home for weight training.
The rubber band is good for stopping then damaging the floor or being damage by the floor. They come pre oiled to stop them seizing together.
My only gripe is that they don’t give you a small lubricant, to help keep them from seizing, although you can buy some if needed.
Nice size handles.
The dumbells are small enough to perform alot of the exercises properly, by that I mean they aren’t too bulky to interfere with the exercise.
Great dumbells!
I chose these dumbells because the supplier sells additional weights that you can screw on later if required. They are well constructed and look great as well in the chrome finish . The rubbers soften the impact when you put them down which is good, do not come off if you handle the weights carefully, but can easily be removed if you don’t want them. Thoroughly recommend.
Sturdy, easy to use
Got 2 of these and they are great. The handle is cushioned and they are very good quality. If you switch weights a lot then they will be inconvenient but I tend to do sets so only need to change weight once or twice, that’s easy to do as well. Would recommend.

Superb Fitness Dumbells
Not only do these dumbells look the part they are great to use. They are a very integral part of my my home fitness workout. The soft grips work extremely well in terms of both comfort and grip and the rubber ring protectors ensure that surfaces are not damaged by the steel weights. These dumbells absolutely meet my needs!
Good
Bought to replace twenty year old adjustable reebok weights. Aesthetically they are great and they do the job.
However, they are not a patch on the old reeboks which are no longer available for three reasons.
1. They come with no stand when not in use.
2. There are rubber bands to protect the weights but they fly off at the most inconvenient times.
3. They weights do need regular tightening.
None of the above are critical and I’m using them daily but they could be better given the cost.
I bought these to do home workouts while on maternity leave. I was sceptical at first but they have been my favourite fitness purchase. They are compact, great cushion on the bar, weights are easy to screw on and it feels secure. They are expensive and it would be great if additional weights could be sold separately from the bar but I love the product overall. To be expected, it’s not ideal if you need to change weights quickly during a set, you will need a minute to switch the weights but I am happy with that compromise as a space saving solution.
Sleek, stylish and easy to use
Well designed dumbbells that fit together so easily, well balanced and easy to hold. More expensive than some but you can appreciate the high quality and design and because they are adjustable you only need to buy one set. Would highly recommend.
Compac
They seem well made and the parts come apart smoothly so far. I might put some grease or ptfe tape on the screw threads at some point just to be on the safe side but I haven’t yet and seems ok. I don’t tighten them much at all and they stay in place.
It doesn’t take long to change the weight but it isn’t something you would want to keep doing throughout your workout. If that’s something you want to do then I think it would get quite annoying with this style of adjustment.
They look good and comfortable to hold, and although they are quite expensive I am happy with them. There’s no carry case which doesn’t bother me but worth considering.
Whats not to like?
Compact and you can take it apart easy to lessen or add to you upper body workout. The main thing, you don’t have a load of weights to trip over or clutter up your gaff. Recommended
Quality product, feels good, quick to change
I purchased a pair of the 10KGs in Jan 2022 and my wife and I have been using them 3 or 4 times a week ever since.
Very impressed with the quality of them and having bought cheaper different brands in my opinion it is worth spending the etc for these.
Will be purchasing another set later on this year, was hoping they would feature in the prime sale so that I could also buy some of the extra weight plates to increase the weight even more.

I got the 15kg (bought a pair) for a start. They are solid, comfortable, and easy to manage. Adding weights is a breeze as well and you can purchase extra add-on weights. The add-on weights for these are 2.5kg due to the circumference matching the existing weights that came with the set. Keep this in mind when adding extra weights, though you can put on the 4kg ones they won’t be uniform. Bit pricy but look fantastic.

Are they costly, yes, but you get 4 dumbell weights (10kg, 8kg, 7kg & 5kg) in one pair.
Plus i really look forward to exercising with them which means i am exercising more regularly. Happy days.
Although the heavier weights are expensive & sold individually as opposed to being sold in pairs… but i guess I will have to save, as these weights are excellent quality.
Pricey but worth it…
Love these dumbbells! They are made very well and don’t take up a lot of room. I can adjust the weight easily and quickly during my workouts. The best part is that you can buy more weight if needed which I think I’m ready to do now. Highly recommend.
Good quality, not too large
Good quality, not too large . I bought the 5kg set for a 60+ male who is quite fit to use in his aerobic exercise routines (Body Project). He’s using the 2.5kg weights to start, which are as heavy as you want when first starting with weights. They are a good size as he is able to use in fast moving exercises which would have been difficult with larger sized weights.
Beautifully designed, comfortable to use and a great space-save
I’ve had my eye on a pair of Northdeer dumbbells for a while and decided to bite the bullet and ordered some. They’re quite expensive, so it took me a while to talk myself into it, but I’m so glad I did. As you can see from the photo, the 10kg pair I received takes up so much less space than the cheap vinyl and concrete set I was using. They easily slide under the spare bed out of the way, whereas my old ones took up a lot of floor space. The Northdeer discs are a doddle to screw in and out and I can quickly and easily adjust the weights so that each dumbbell weighs roughly 2.5-10.2 kg to suit the sets I’m doing. They’re also beautifully designed and made — so gorgeous to look at. And the sturdy foam grip is so comfortable that I don’t even need to wear gloves when using them, as I did with the old dumbbells to avoid blisters. One temporary issue was that my set didn’t include the rubber rings, but I e-mailed Northdeer and straight away Dani got back to me to apologise and to tell me that a set would be in the post. A week later, they arrived (along with a nice hand-written apology). So, in summary, the product is well designed, well manufactured, compact, versatile, practical and comfortable. Even better, Northdeer seem genuinely interested in you having a good experience with them — they’re clearly very proud of their product and care about their customers. I’m very happy with my purchase and the way I’ve been treated.
They look and feel grea
Because they look really well styled, I can get away with leaving them sat on a coffee table in the living room without my wife asking me to move them. Having them to hand means that I use them two or three time more often than the ones put away in the cupboard and still using them daily. Gym equipment is normally out of site, out of mind. These get used.

It’s odd what you miss when you are checking out a product page.
When I opened the package I was surprised to find that these high end, relatively expensive dumbbells didn’t come with a carry case. I checked back on the amazon product page to find there was no case shown in any of the photo’s or mentioned in the description.
My assumption, my mistake. There doesn’t seem to be an aftermarket one to be bought either.
The foam grips make these very comfortable to use.
The rubber rings fit in the groove between the weights but can be fitted in the middle of the larger weight disc if that is the only one in use for a few sets.
There is a 2Kg total weight combination for the 5Kg set not shown in the description. Start with just the bar, reverse the normal orientation of the two 0.75Kg discs and thread the internal threads onto the bar. This leaves the external threads pointing outwards, a potential hazard, but normal care in use would keep this from being a danger.

Very impressed
I am very impressed with these dumbbells. Yes they are pricey but you get what you pay for. They are of very high quality, do not come lose and most importantly for me, they do not take up lots of space unlike the classic dumbbell. Very easy to screw on and add more weight. When I can afford it, I will be getting more plates. I can’t recommended them highly enough.
Excellent, as long as you don’t overtighte
A really useful space saving set of dumbbells. After buying these for myself, I bought the smaller 2.5kg ones for my partner to use.
The only issue I have had with them so far was on 2 occasions they have been tightened too much, and have been extremely difficult to separate. On one occasion I had to use a strap spanner (normally used for vehicle fuel filter removal), and the other occasion I had to use some paracord wrapped in opposite directions and taped onto each plate, to loosen them. The instructions say to use WD40 or to tap them lightly on a hard surface, but there was no movement after following those instructions.
Low profile, well made
As a Teenager i bought some cheap weights on a massive stand. It taught me that they’re uncomfortable to hold due to a line of sharp plastic from the mould and take up loads of space. Knowing this I bought these little beauties! They take up hardly any space, look good, feel great. It’s a very adult approach to exercise. 5 stars!
Superb in every way
After trying 4 pairs of other dumbbells, I found these to be ideal in every way. I have been using them for about a month and I have found nothing to complain about. They are perfect. Buy them; you won’t regret it. My 22 years old granddaughter admired them, so I have just bought her a pair.

Arrived very quickly, within 5 days. Weren’t supposed to arrive until 8th Dec but arrived on the 3rd which I was delighted with. Great quality weights, super easy to adjust and compact. Would highly recommend, an absolutely superb product.
Works of art!
Beautifully made. So easy to screw on/off the additional weights. Compact, so good for storage and less restricting when exercising. Comfortable padded handle – it will be interesting to see how it wears. Spare bands provided for floor protection which is a nice touch. Well packed and arrived ahead of schedule. Very expensive and worth every penny.
Excellent product with good build quality
I bought a smaller size of the North Deer dumbells and liked them so much that I have bought these heavier ones. The padded handle is very comfortable and I have never had any problem unscrewing the sections to change weight. Very convenient, compact and they look good too. Highly recommended.

For something that is used every day the extras cost is worth it.
They are a pleasure to use and look fine if left out after use.

was advised by my physiotherapist to use weights to help strengthen my wrists building up to 10kg.
Only been using them for few days, and am more than happy with them.
Was sceptical about the price, but having used them, I would defiantly say they are worth it.
Thankfully you are able to lower the weights to 5 7 & 8 Kg so you can build up to 10Kg
Well manufactured quality dumbbells.
These weights not only look great, they have been been beautifully machined and appear to be of outstanding quality. Something that is obviously reflected in the price. However, if you are looking for variable compact weights, the pain is worth the gain!
The threads are excellent and the weights are easy to screw together. Once in place they feel secure.
I also purchased the additional weight discs for this set, to future proof and increase the 10kg set to 13kg. Again they are of the same standard of manufacture.
I couldn’t be more pleased. A great purchase that I shall enjoy using – which is half the battle!
First set of dumbbells and they are grea
These are my first set of dumbbels that I’ve bought, these are relatively cheap as dumbbels go and allowed me to start of at a small weight and move up as I got stronger. You can also buy more weights online to increase the 5kg weights to 10kg weights for only an extra 35. Overall these are a very dependable set of dumbells
Best Weights Ever !! There Small, Compact easy to store & comfortable. There interchangeable & you can also buy extra weights for them. I also have the connecting bar. They have Soft Grips as well as rubber washers which can be used to protect wooden surfaces. They are not cheap but definitely worth it.
Good, adjustable weigh
Bought the single 25Kg dumbbell. It was delivered very quickly, well packaged. The dumbbell is compact and solid (no rattling) unlike some other adjustable dumbbells. It is easy to remove or add weight plates. Good quality product.

I would recommend those dumbbells to those who work out at home but want a range of weight options in a small version .
I’m a nearly-50 bloke who has always done a lot of fitness stuff, particularly running. I bought these to be able to do the Fitness+ sessions I have in my Apple Family subscription.
I bought the 7.5kg ones so because (i) i’m not very strong (ii) so that my wife could use them in the 3.5kg configuration, they were the sweet spot. I know you can buy an additional weight to take them up to 10kg if necessary. Or the 15kg set which would give us everything we needed. I’m not a body builder but I know I need to do weight work with my age.
I really like these thought. Smart, more compact than anything I have seen and they definitely feel like a dense weight. It’s easy to spin then on and off. I am quite comfortable using them at 6kg configuration (without the two endpieces) for Apple Fitness which involves a fair bit of movement very often.
They are expensive, I’m lucky I can afford them. But they are also high quality.
My minor anoyances are: (i) the rubber bands that can be slipped on between the weights to act as a dampener /bumperwhen you put them down; they slip off reasonably easily. (ii) I hope the foam handle will last well (iii) i wish they had a smart padded case
But I don’t regret buying them and I’ve done a handful of strength training sessions with them so far, I hope to do many more.

Pricey but they really are a great set of weights to own.
The only things that could be better is the price and branding on the weights rubs off after a while very minor unless you want to show off your northdeer weights, 200 for 10kg set with insurance seems a little steep, But they are superior to traditional weight sets and their ease of use and comfortable grips makes working out less of a chore and more of an enjoyment at home.
Not cheap, but make exercising a pleasure
I really like the look and feel of these weights. I was looking for a single product where I could adjust weights according to energy/exercise levels and these are super.
Clear instructions on how to adjust and bands to reduce potential to damage floors etc with metal. Delighted to have invested in them.
Expensive but worth it.
What dumbbells aren’t costly these days? I already have a pair of steel dumbbells that have lasted for decades these are to take elsewhere when travelling – they are soo compact. No awful plastic covering that grays over time. The 2.5 KG ones are slightly lighter than the ones I have but that’s fine as I have a heart condition and multiple reps of a lower weight puts less strain on my body. Really, really well finished and robust. 5 stars.
Superb
Taking up little space and looking exquisite, these small polished steel dumbbells sit in my study and can be used as I walk past them several times a day. The 10Kg set is spot on for me. I use them with 2.5Kg on each for ordinary use. Great for maintaining muscle tone when remote working means less physical activity than normal. Strongly recommended.
Versatile and look grea
Fantastic and very versatile weights for all kinds of workouts including crossfit movements. Very easy to change plates. Seller open and courteous. Had a query about the finish on the inside of one of the plates and they explained with photos the reason for a small mark on the inside (not visible) to do with manufacturing machines. Fantastic finish on the outside, beautiful mirror effect. Very satisfied customer 🙂
Love them!
These are fantastic if you’re a little pushed for room; 4 weights in 1. They are well made, very comfortable to use and look good. Very pleased with them and will definitely order another set when i’ve progressed.
Really nice set of weights. Quick to change different weights during workout routines. Tip, spin them on until the seal contacts, no need to tighten up or else they can get ‘locked’ and its a bit of a job to separate them again.
Great looking adjustable weights
I needed to tone up, and didn’t want to fill the whole house with equipment.
These are great looking, and the weights are easily adjustable, machined really well so I don’t expect any issues with them working loose especially as they have a number of screw turns.
They shipped without the rings for protecting the floor, I contacted Northdeer and they immediately said they would ship them out, and they arrived very quickly given they had to ship from the US.

I miscalcalated and ordered the weights to light for my personal needs but found by using the rubber bands supplied I could double the weight by making it into one weight that I could still grasp in one hand, very stable as well. I’m very happy but next time I’ll order the correct weights for my need.
Good choice
I like the idea that you can adjust the weight of the dumbells. Overall good choice. Not sure about the foam covering though. I was looking for non toxic equipment. This is great but since i cannot comment on the foam I cant fully say. But generally, there is no reason not to purchase these. They are attractive too.
I purchased the 25kg north deer dumbbells ,they came the next day which I wasn’t expecting so speedy delivery.
The dumbbells are very compact and precise in weight .
The problem I have is with the finish.They are not highly polished as stated ,some of the weights are very badly machined and finished, maybe I got a bad dumbbell .
The handle on one of the dumbbells is a gold sort of a colour so hasn’t been properly electroplated .

Beautifully made precision engineered
Kept thinking about these dumbbells as they look so beautifully made. So pleased I decided to buy them. They fit together perfectly, very easy to unscrew, even during a 30s HIIT rest period. Clearly very well made. Weights range from 2.5 to 5kg, and for cheaper than it would cost to buy separately. Grip is comfortable and not too big. And they look fabulous. (Miles better than the horrid lime green and bright orange ones I saw first!)
So stylish! The chrome adds real sophistication to this great space saving set of weights. As a women I appreciate the aesthetic of this set and also how it’s 1 set that ranges through different weights as I progress in my training.. lovely soft grips sort of neoprene feel (the white logo rubs off over time) that are holding up well with my daily use. No negative points after a month of use so top marks all round. Totally worth the money I paid for them.
If your hesitating to which adjustable dumbell to buy look no further. Proper solid item, very well made. Easy to take weight on and off, maybe not as quick as the other types but still easy and quick enough. The fact its compact is its best feature as its more like the gym dumbell your used too. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Well worth the investment.

If any gym equipment was going to be made beautiful then these are it. Excellently machined weights. Thread has a long enough travel so that if it were to come loose while you were using it (which it won’t) then it couldn’t unscrew itself and fall off. Foam grip is super comfy and gives a very firm grip. Totally recommended

At last, a really good quality product, well made and sensible price. These dumbells are easy to use and adjust, they are compact and the elastic bands hold them tightly together. Very pleased.
Top Quality Dumbbells
These are a bit more expensive than many, but then you do get 4 dumbbell weights in one. Very high quality indeed. When lockdown is over I can always use them as modern art!
