Nice to have a choice of colour which makes it easier for you to read.
A ruler guide is helpful for you not to lose your place.
The only thing I would say is the plastic container they come in is a little tight. Should be bigger as awkward to get them back in.
I have to say im very impressed with this product and it will help greatly with my school work however each individual overlay had a protective film on and that was not advertised with the product i didnt mind peeling of the film as it was satisfyinv just wish it had been advertised.
This set is very useful if you are teaching someone to read who is struggling. Probably better to get professionally tested, this set is a good starting point, as you can use different colours and see if any of them make a difference.
My girl finds it hard to read with a wight beck round they help her so much,
now her reading level has gone up drastically and her confidence has grown as well it did take her a couple of weeks to find the right shade and color that is right for her but now she picking up the reading much better and easier.
Ordered for my oldest boy and his wife, who are both Dyslexic. So not tried out yet and therefore can’t give a + or -, but hopefully all will be good.
The weird thing is I ordered this item on Thursday ( 27th ) afternoon, received confirmation of postage dated 28th but I’ed already received the item at about 1.00pm through post.
Marvellous, brilliant, great service.
Very pleased, cheers ……………
I am using these with my son. They are very good quality and worth the money. They help readers to keep their place – added bonus can be used as bookmark and has a ruler feature which is good for children when using at school. I even believe these are a very good for everyone – they are great for dyslexia. I’m not dyslexic however I have taken one out of the pack for myself as it’s a nice bookmark and I liked using it to read. I would recommend all schools to give this aid to children struggling with reading – only wished I bought it years earlier. My son isn’t a keen reader because of his struggles and this aid is very important for developing his fluency and confidence. In the few days we have used this his attitude is shifting. As a parent my best advice is to read with your child at least 3 times a week. This aid really has cut out the arguments and apathy – he’s defintely engaging more – it’s a simple aid but makes a huge impact to the readers attitude and confidence.
