Lots of colours to choose from.
Nice to have a choice of colour which makes it easier for you to read.
A ruler guide is helpful for you not to lose your place.
The only thing I would say is the plastic container they come in is a little tight. Should be bigger as awkward to get them back in.

    Very useful
This set is very useful if you are teaching someone to read who is struggling. Probably better to get professionally tested, this set is a good starting point, as you can use different colours and see if any of them make a difference.

    Immediate reading improveme
It was amazing to hear my daughter read fluently straight away with using one of the Overlays. She said that the words stopped moving when using some of the overlays. For those like me that are not dyslexic, it is so surprising to see what difference it can make!

    Worked its purpose
Excellent… only day2 of my Son using these he says the blue & Red works best for him, and even more confident in using in school as 1 of his classmates uses the same thing.
So achieved its intended purpose this end 😉

Just what I needed.. overlays to help with reading. Line marker is great for keeping child on track for reading. Daughter recently diagnosed with Irlen syndrome and we have found the correct colour to help her massively with her reading – just ordered a second set for school!

I bought these for my grown up son to help him at work. He was first diagnosed with severe learning difficulty (dyslexia) aged 10. He’s now 41. As those living with dyslexia know anything that makes life a little easier is worth investing in. The yellow and acqua tint overlays suit him best.

    Misleading photo in adve
Thought from the advertised picture that these came with a tin case to stores them in… but they don’t sadly, just a Very tight fitting zipped plastic case. However the rulers/guides themselves work great.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHelped my son read fluently - he is dyslexic - so I’m thrilled with the produc
I am using these with my son. They are very good quality and worth the money. They help readers to keep their place – added bonus can be used as bookmark and has a ruler feature which is good for children when using at school. I even believe these are a very good for everyone – they are great for dyslexia. I’m not dyslexic however I have taken one out of the pack for myself as it’s a nice bookmark and I liked using it to read. I would recommend all schools to give this aid to children struggling with reading – only wished I bought it years earlier. My son isn’t a keen reader because of his struggles and this aid is very important for developing his fluency and confidence. In the few days we have used this his attitude is shifting. As a parent my best advice is to read with your child at least 3 times a week. This aid really has cut out the arguments and apathy – he’s defintely engaging more – it’s a simple aid but makes a huge impact to the readers attitude and confidence.
