It’s very sharp! It slices through practically anything, including the tip of your (my!) finger, so try not to get distracted by the (again, my) dog. Excellent kitchen knife. Happy to recommend.

Simple large chopping knife that effortlessly slices, chops and peels its way through most tasks in the kitchen without issue.

It’s well made, comfortable in the hand and sharp enough to make clean and precise cuts without force. Haven’t needed to sharpen as yet after a few weeks of usage and I’m happy with its performance so far.

In summary, it’s a decent knife at a reasonable price and I’m more than happy to recommend it.

When budget is tight, this knife will be good enough for occasional use but its not as good as my other ones. Even comfort of holding it in hand is different..that’s because of this cheap looking plastic handle which is slim and straight, not shaped to the hand shape for best comfort. The handle is a bit slippery which makes this knife more on unsafe side.
Blade is sharp as yet, as its still very new. Time will tell how long it will stay sharp.

I have to admit, I’ve been spoiled with knives. We’ve received some beautiful chef’s knives from Amazon recently, and the difference in quality is definitely noticeable.

This “Tasty” knife is a lot cheaper, and it does slightly feel like it.

It doesn’t look as nice and it doesn’t feel as balanced in your hand… mostly, though, it doesn’t make you want to linger over your cooking the way really wonderful knives/pans/ingredients do.

It’s sharp enough, and it’ll cut through a head of lettuce alright – it just isn’t something for food-lovers, really. It’s very functional, which is what you want in a kitchen, I suppose! It just isn’t something you get joy out of.

So if you’re cooking on a budget, this is a useful knife to have. If you love cooking and want to spend hours in the kitchen with a glass of wine or three and Puccini playing in the background while you prepare a huge meal for the people you love, this knife will feel a little lacklustre.
