Lost the original magnetic pen cover down my seat as I was preparing to sign a document using my first generation Apple Pencil
With the purchased cover as well, this should not happen in the future and well worth the cost, have now purchased a Apple Pencil charging stand from the same company
This replacement cap and holder is a perfect fit. I was grateful to have the holder included as it will prevent the replacement cap from going missing again in future. Very pleased with this item.
Best replacement for my cap I’ve found on here. I hate the rubber ones bc they slide off too easy. This one’s magnet is strong enough. I don’t know the long term of this yet but I think it will be fine. The rubber part that holds the cap can’t be used on the pen holders on a case and it’s not easy enough to slide off to keep in your bag when you’re charging your iPad at someone else’s house so I won’t be using it.
I like the way this works. The solid cap fits as well as the original and the rubber sleeve holds the top near the pencil when charging. It cuts down the time I spend looking for the cap when I drop i
eeded this as I am constnatly putting the top down and forgetting where it is.. by using the little attachment that cam with it it isn’t going to happen ever again!
I bought a replacement cap from another vendor and although it looked fine, had a really weak magnet. Within days it was gone. So I was praying that this one had a stronger magnet… and it does! In fact it looks and feels just like the original one. It comes with a rubber holder that hopefully means that I will never lose the cap again. Some people have complained that it is quite expensive for what it is, but I don’t think it is so bad – particularly if it is the last cap I ever need to buy.
This is a great replacement cap, I believe my original is down the sofa somewhere! This replacement fits perfectly and I love the cap holder that it comes with. It arrived really quickly and I am very pleased.
It is magnetic, and fits the first generation apple pencil well! I bought it as I lost my cap – but this is a perfect replacement, with a good fit. It comes with the silicone cap – so I won’t lose it again!!
seems a good cap and fairly well made. the rubber attachment is a good idea and is very handy as i lost a cap so this is a good alternative. arrived on time and well done.
Perfect replacement. I constantly drop my Apple Pencil so my original cap was shattered, fell to pieces. Found this one, and it’s the perfect replacement. Feels like the original, great quality! Arrived ontime! Same day if I remember correctly!
Brilliant replacement for the original cap that the dog ate on the first day we got the pen. Now good as new and the additional protector will stop it ever getting lost again.
Lost the cap, blah blah, we can skip that. If you need a replacement one, this fits the bill. Design wise it’s basically the same. I was concerned that the material wouldn’t quite match, but it looks and feels just like the original one.
I’ve dropped a star for two reasons – it’s a touch pricey for what it is (but at least it’s good). Also it’s not particularly tight fitting. You can move it a bit when it’s on the pencil, however this is exactly how the original Apple one behaved, at least on mine. I’m torn on whether a perfect copy, including the flaws, is a good thing or a bad thing.
Either way this is pretty simple – do you need a new pencil cap? If yes, then this is a great option. Not cheap, but there is no considerably cheaper alternative that matches the quality of this one. It also comes with a silicone cap holder to attach it to your pencil which is nice. But I personally don’t like how it looks so I don’t use it.
Pleased and relieved to find a perfect replacement for the magnetic cap for my apple Pencil which I lost and love the added bonus of the ‘safety holder’ that came with it. I cant imagine how I might ever lose it again.

Lost the original cap off my Apple Pencil, bought this to replace. It’s a cap with a flexible holder to keep the cap attached to the pencil. It’s just fab, no more lost caps !
I have lost my Apple Pencil cap for my iPad Pro. So I was looking for a replacement. I have came across this and it did not disappoint. This replacement cap clips on my Apple Pencil perfectly. The cap even comes with a holder that prevents the lid from falling off. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a replacement cap for their Apple Pencil.
Short of buying a new iPad Pro plus the new wirelessly charged pencil, this charger cover with holder will hopefully prevent it getting lost, unlike the original that lasted a few short weeks before disappearing – something I was waiting to happen after several near misses when it flipped off in my bag. Better magnet on the TechMatte replacement too.
I bought this because I had lost the original cap of my iPad Pro pencil. I’m quite happy with this purchase – it fits over the pencil just fine. Delivery was quick too.
After buying another replacement cap from another seller which didn’t work at all, I found this one and it did the trick and worked perfectly, just like the real thing
I lost the plastic/magnetic cap on the top of my Apple Pencil. This replaces it perfectly, with the same satisfying ‘snap’ as it pulls itself into place AND it has a silicon bit so I can’t lose it again. I took the plastic cap off for the photo, but it fits very well in the silicon cap holder and I don’t plan to remove it again. The silicon seems pretty robust – I haven’t broken it yet! Although its cheap, its very good.
Excellent product. Came quickly and was a perfect replacement for the cap I lost on the original Apple pencil. Holds to the pencil now with the tether too so you don’t have to put the cap down as well. Worth the purchase.
When you put this next to an apple cap it’s not quite identical – but almost. Given that apple don’t do a replacement themselves this is definitely the next best thing.
This is what I have been waiting for. Ever since my daughter lost the cap , I have been using those rubber/silicone caps which is held on by friction. This one feels like the original and is magnetic like the original . A great buy.
I’m very happy with the product. It looks just like the original apple product and, I agree with other reviews I’ve read, the magnet is stronger than Apple’s.
I’m also using the tether with was included so I’m sure I won’t lose this cap!
