This does bring out the bets in garlic but the garlic gets stuck in the tiny holes. It comes with stiff brush for cleaning, but I still found I needed a toothpick before it went in the dishwasher. Does save your fingers though.

I have had many different types of crushers over the years and this is my favourite by FAR. You chop off the end/root bit of the garlic with a knife, put the garlic in the rubber tube and roll a few times to remove the skin (no more picking at it with your fingers or crushing with a flat knife).

Then place garlic on a flat surface and push down with the device in a sort of seesaw action on the garlic. Instant crushed garlic. I was concerned it would just flatten it and not go through the holes, but it does go through. It creates a lovely minced result.

Exceptionally easy to use. You don’t need to scrape off the bits either from the device to wash it either. Perfect cleaning in the dishwasher. 10 out of 10

Great little item. Very easy to use and easy to to clean. The brush that comes with it is a added bonus to get rid of the stubborn bits. My granddaughter recommend this to me.

Not a bad product but I found that it does have an inherent problem – but then so do all garlic mincers. We need to break up the garlic clove into small pieces but in doing so we find that the holes of the mincer get blocked. This is no exception – when pressing down on a fresh clove the holes rapidly block in the places where there is contact with the clove and you are left with large-ish unusable lumps.

I am pleased I bought it and I am not sure if this problem could be eradicated. It is just that I expected this one to be a little easier to use.
