You get what you pay for with this sort of thing, if you want to run full diagnostics then you pay big money, if you want to do the basics then this is seems so far more than plenty, I’ve done a few things from re gen to tpms with it and seems to take it in its stride

What a fantastic purchase. I bought this to get more detail when fault finding as I only had a small basic scanner. This is just great the detail you can get from it is fantastic. You can check individual cylinder misfire soot content of dpf filters and initiate re gens reset service light and release epb brake. With life time updates I’m over the moon with this purchase.

I will definitely recommend this scanner tool. I have already tried it on my 4 cars and works perfectly. Also helped me detect a fault which don’t display on the dashboard. You can find it cheaper but hey if you want it next day I guess you have to pay the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly as described

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usershis is a really handy bit of kit and it works well with quite a few cars, so far its been able to diagnose and re calibrate the steering angle sensor on a KIA sorento 2010 and so issues on a Fiat, a Rover 25 and a Honda CRV very pleased with its operation.

Told me that the service vehicle soon was actually glow plug on cylinder 1. It allowed me to clear the entry which lasted 4 days, then the same fault came back. Time for a new glow plug, cylinder 1.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWell what can I say about this code reader/scanner.
I was able to connect this code reader/scanner to my Wi-Fi network to download all the latest software updates over the past couple of months.
Well in a nutshell, this code reader/scanner is a very useful peace of kit to have if you don’t want to have expensive garage diagnostics costs.
I have used this on several vehicles from Nissan’s, Vauxhall’s, land rover and Volkswagen’s, to reset service lights, diagnosed error codes , reset are airbag fault.
My friends car wouldn’t go into dpf regen mode, to have the scanner which could put the vehicle into forced regen to clean the dpf was very handy.
I wouldn’t be without this peace of kit, I carry this around in my vehicle at all times as you never know when you are going to need it.
All in All I highly recommend this code reader/scanner to have in your tool box.
I wouldn’t be without it now.
Very handy peace of to to own.
In a nutshell it will cover majority of vehicles with a wide range of issues

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI have a couple of issues with my vehicles that needed to be sorted out and my cheap OBD scanner just isn’t up to it.
VW’s can be particularly difficult to connect to with non-manufacturer specific scanners so I was a little concerned but this connected perfectly. It allowed me to turn off the airbag light after repairing the fault which instantly saved me over 50 getting a garage to do it.
It also helped diagnose an instrument cluster fault by proving the speed sensor was working by using the live data readout.
I have also had issues with a Ford Kuga not completing a dpf regen so I thought I would try forcing it with this. It connected fine and after trying to do a static regeneration the engine temperature was not getting hot enough which helped diagnose a fault thermostat. When this is fixed I expect the dpf issues to also be resolved.
    *edit*
I have since used the live data from this to diagnose a dpf pressure sensor issue – I changed this then used the obd tool to reset learned values, do a regen and the car is now running better than ever!

In general it is very intuitive to use, it connects to my vehicles and software updates easily over wifi. I am looking forward to seeing what else I can do with this as it is definitely far more capable than I am at the moment.

All in all I am very happy – it will save me money and make working on modern cars much easier.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy Artidiag 600s arrived today and I’ve tried it out already on my own 2011 VW Transporter 2.0 140 DSG. I also ran a scan with my Launch X-432 v3 Pro (a much more expensive piece of kit but good to compare).
Out of the box the Topdon felt well made but I was disappointed that no case was included. My ICarsoft Cr Pro is a similar priced unit and that came with a case.
Once plugged in you have to connect to wifi (hopefully not every time!) before you can get started.
The software was very similar in look and feel to Launch. I looked at what systems were available to scan, its annoying that it couldn’t scan the instrument cluster as a lot of diagnostic information is stored there.
Then I ran a health report, it was able to read engine, transmission, air bag and brakes. It did not find any faults. For comparison I have included a picture from launch which I scanned after the Topdon. It can see many more systems and was able to pick up fault codes on the canbus which the Topdon missed.
Over all the Topdon seems good and I will keep playing with it. Its not really fair to compare to Launch as that is much more expensive.

Nifty little piece of kit, easy to use, value for money topped off with swift delivery. Thought I’d try it out when my airbag light came on with a fault before taking it to a main dealers. Upon delivery I Plugged the diagnostics in to do a small update via wifi and then we were good to go.

Great value for money, and saved me so much time and additional money on a dealership checking the fault.

I would recommend this piece of kit without delay.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhy pay for a garage to run a diagnostic test on your car when you can do it yourself and save money?

That was my thought when I was quoted a ridiculous amount by my garage, just for them to find out what was wrong with my car. I decided to try use my own diagnostic tool and after trying a few hand held scanners, I decided to purchase the Topdon OBD2 Scanner ArtiDiag600 S and I was not disappointed. The scanner arrived with 95% battery and I used it straight away to finally get a diagnosis. Luckily I was able to fix the problem myself and not relying on my garage, thus saving some money.

Even better- the scanner can be used on various makes and models of cars and has now been used by a few family members (giving you the chance to show it off!). The OBD scanner automatically selects the make and model of the vehicle it has been connected to, making the product fool proof! If there are any connection problems, the system is very easy to set up manually. Simply find your make and model of car and let the scanner do its thing!

The instruction manual was very clear and concise. Pairing this with the system (which was remarkably easy to navigate) made the product super easy to use and run diagnostic tests in no time at all, with no messing around!

Overall, a very quick, easy and smart product that will save you money in the long run!

5.0 out of 5 stars OBD Scanner worth the purchase!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI bought this OBD2 scanner to help my husband solve some issues with our cars and stop him going slowly mad – we were tired of having to pay dealers silly amounts of money to “plug our car” in – even to reset the service light. We had tried various online forums and bought the hand held fault code readers but couldn’t get to the bottom of the issues we were having, so I bought the bullet and purchased this for him.

What a time saver this gadget has been. No more messing about with different readers for different cars – this Topdon ArtiDiag600S has them all. We have a few cars in our family ranging in age and this scanner has worked on all of them – including an older VW T4 camper van that we thought only one other piece of software running on a laptop could connect – but no! This Topdon scanner has worked on everything we’ve plugged it into on our driveway. To say my hubby is happy is an understatement!

The ArtiDiag600S has wifi so it can connect to the internet. Why? Well it is super easy to update all the info for the different car manufacturers – which he did when he first booted it up – but once he found a fault code he was able to connect to internet from this Scanner on the driveway and view details about the fault code and possible fixes. Brilliant. It runs on Android and has the Chrome internet browser on it. Clever.

The home screen is really easy to understand and navigate to the exact car model we have. No wondering if the fault code reader is understanding the car ECU. On some newer cars the Scanner can identify you exact Make & Model automatically, but for the older ones it was easy for him to find the correct make & model and then read all the systems.

This is an amazing device and nicely & solidly made. It has a great solid feel to the hard rubber case and the touch screen makes it easy to select things – there are arrows and buttons too – everything was easy to access even using mechanics gloves!

Sometimes spending a little more money on a good device like this is totally worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars No messing about anymore!

Very quick delivery of this great item. Took around 25 minutes to set up and download all the vehicle updates (fantastic that it has free updates for life!). I tried it on three cars over the period of a few days, all three were not showing any issues. But the MINI did show an issue that other EOBD readers had not, the coolant temperature sensor was failing to read the correct temperature during the warm up period. Therefore the car was demanding more fuel than it needed. Ordered a new sensor and installed it, and all issues were gone! Very easy to use piece of equipment, straight forward to setup and now I carry it around with me everywhere. All my friends are impressed with it, and considering getting there own! Looking forward to using it on more cars in the future, for the money it is the best piece of kit around. Even better than some so called top name readers, which are very expensive for what they sometimes cannot do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Item, Easy to use, Highly Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersUse this new scanner from Topdon for the first time today on a 2003 R50 Mini. Airbag warning light would not go off. BMW charge over 100 for a diagnostic scan then the cost of the the parts and labour for the fix. Could easily have been 3-400.

Plugged the scanner in and got a specific output telling us that the fault lay with the drive side seat tensioner. Straight to it and found a chaffed wire under the seat. Repaired with a connector and some self-amalgamating tape. Cleared the code with the scanner and within 30mins all was good.

This is a brilliant piece of kit, touchscreen is very responsive, software is simple to use and features are great for the price. Probably paid for itself today with this one fix. Software is updated for free so should be good for many years to come, If you fix your own car I would recommend one of these . Looking forward to many years of future use and making my repairs quicker and easie
