This is a proper jack Sealey are a renowned make, this is perfect for the home mechanic or a garage for that matter very good indeed. Heavy but not fussed as they are made that way.

Very strong, very sturdy when using. I use it to lift my Range Rover P38 and it lifts with ease! Top quality item, just make sure to follow instructions and prime it first!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersAll l can say is OMG!!!!.. This jack is worth every penny of the price.. Very good quality, extremely well made and very strong. Great value for money. To be honest, l can’t understand how Sealey can make a piece of equipment like that for 62.00 let alone sell it!!. WARNING… lve noticed other people are saying this Jack fails after a while. The reason for this is they have not primed the trolley Jack properly BEFORE using it for the FIRST TIME. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE PRIMING PROCESS…..
There is a big label on the Jack telling you how to prime the Jack before first use, it only takes five minutes. Make sure you do it.. Mark.

This is a great jack. I’ve never used one of these and it all fitted nicely together. Simple bleed instructions.

One thing you will need is a heavy duty pad for your vehicle. This goes between the jack and jacking point to prevent damage. That was 4.99extra on amazon and car specific. I have an X5.

This is a very sturdy jack, it lifted my car with ease and allowed me to change the wheels. My only gripe is the pump handle might have a better clip to connect it to the jack, but it’s a minor issue and doesn’t affect the use of the pump.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed to jack up an Audi A6 to put on axle stands for a break service and change at home, saved around 300 quid on this so paid for it’s self more than enough. It does feel a little un steady but that is most likely user error. I would recommend this item for jacking and extra support but I would not use on it’s own to do work whilst under the vehicle or with a wheel off. So far so good.

Even though it’s heavy it is portable due to the detached handle. I went for this as it was on offer and it’s well worth the money, even at full price! It’s sturdy, really safe to use. Would recommend

Have had this trolley jack for over 6 months now and have put it through a lot of use on a number of cars. Easy to use and very sturdy. Works on a variety of cars including my long slung Mercedes SLK.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe Sealey jack is well finished and built from very heavy gauge materials. It does the job for which it is intended and looks like it will carry on doing so for many years. With that praise goes the only health warning: this is a very weighty piece of kit. It will live happily in the garage or workshop but don’t even think of it as something to carry around in a car boot.

Used this to raise a Mazda 6 onto axle stands, which a cheaper 2T hilka trolley Jack couldn’t reach. Well made, easy to use action and good reach for my needs. Really wish it came with a case though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe packaging was damaged on delivery and could have been packaged much better.
The trolley jack did not have a carrying handle as my previous jack so it is more awkward to carry. The jack, however is very well made and does the job intended well.

Very good, just follow the instructions to initially bleed the system and away you go. Low enough for a Mini sill. Could do with a carry handle instead you drag it by the lever handle which can’t be a good thing in the long run.

A good trolley jack, goes low and reasonable quick to raise. Does not come with a rubber pad, though, and in contacting the manufacturer, they do not make one. This trolley requires a small rubber pad and so far I haven’t been able to source one. Apart from that, I’d recommend this trolley.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersBought a smaller jack from Screwfix as a stopgap as my previous Sealey 3T fell victim to my efforts at ‘servicing’ it … what a disaster that was! The Screwfix item was cheap of course, but, you know: buy cheap buy twice, as they say. The Screwfix one is now used solely as a support item for holding up engines, gearboxes etc – whereas the Sealey is good for lifting my campervan with ease, and any other vehicle for that matter. Obviously not a 40-tonne artic, but you get my point. Good to be back with that reassuringly heavy, solid solid steel structure that doesn’t move an inch when the car leaves the deck.

Bit old fashioned and doesn’t go very low or lift very high.
Might have an issue lifting a car with a flat tyre..
Works, but will probably buy something better if it ever needs to be replaced or supplemented.

Works very well. Can jack the car up from the rear and still place stands at the front of my car. Only down size is that it its quite tall so won’t fit under low profile vehicles .

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersVery good jack, also easy to use . On first use I released the air, was not that much, and ready to go.
I figured out straight away how it works. I made a jack pad from a Rubber Sanding Block & attached it on top of it to protect the car from scratches and other damages. It is strong enough and works fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good Jack

I’ve been wanting to buy a trolley Jack for my car for a long time now and after buying a car that didn’t have a jack with it (BMW) it forced my hand a bit. I have to say that I’m really pleased with the Jack. I’ve never owned a trolley Jack before but feel that it’s very sturdy, will last a long time and does what is meant to with ease. I’d recommend this to others and have to friends and family already.

Well made tool (as expected from SEALEY) however “Max Saddle Height” not enough to lift the wheel (one at a time) clear of the ground on a Land Rover Discovery 3.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis is an excellent trolley jack lifts my 4×4 Jeep no problem with ease and combined with Axle stands you can lift the whole 4 wheel drive off the ground also you can remove the circlip from the top swivel plate and fit attachments for example Gearbox fitting tool and would definitely recommend it .

    Golden Review Award: 144 From Our UsersI never had a trolley jack before so I learned a few things;
    (1) The jack needs to roll slightly when you are raising a car to remain under the load. The wheels are quite small so they dig into my tarmac drive. If the wheels do not roll, the jack pulls the car toward you. Hence I needs to put the jack onto a sheet of plywood so that it can roll. If you have a concrete of block drive you may not have this problem.
    (2) the point of contact with the car is metal and shaped for a sort of universal fit. This means it doesn’t really fit any jacking point properly. If you want to avoid scraping around the jacking points, then they separately sell a rubber block to fit into the jack which I shall now buy.
    (3) before you start, think through the points that you will use for both the jack and the axle stand. Clearly they will not both fit onto the same jacking point. The jack is quite big, so they can not be very close together either. NEVER use only the jack; it lowers rather easily and very quickly.
    (4) trolley jacks are much more complicated that the usual jack that comes with the car for wheel changes. Take some time to learn how it works before you use it. Also note how to maintain it.They are also much, much heavier and bulkier so work out where you will keep it. You will not want to move it far either.
    (5) having taken into account all the above, it is pretty easy to use and raises the corner of a car in about 10-15 seconds. It can also drop it in about 2 seconds, so be careful when using the release valve.

All in all, I am glad that I have it.

Great jack at good price. Bought to replace factory sissor jack for my van, works well for our car too (vw passat). Remember it’s meant to be used on flat concrete . . . So I have a bit of plywood with me in case of roadside breakdown. Would recommend. Heavy and seems like good quality, but I’ve only used a few times.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWhen the jack arrived (on the day promised) the package was wrapped in brown tape. I thought it looked odd but when I opened the box the jack was packaged in plastic with cardboard securing it in place and it looked new and unmarked. Then I discovered the handle was missing. I emailed the supplier who offered to send me another handle. Alas, when that arrived it didn’t fit!
After some to-ing and fro-ing Cooks of Bedford did eventually replace the whole jack and collected the first one they sent. They also send a free gift by way of compensation. Because of the delay I was not able to use the jack when I planned and the work on my car had to wait. The rain didn’t help either… However I used it last week and it performed very well. I look forward to many years of reliable service.
