it’s light, reliable, small (compared to non-fiber optic HDMI cables), and I use it for professional applications in situations where until now only SDI would be reliable enough. This cable makes SDI-HDMI converters redundant as now I can reliably connect my sony a6400 DSLRs to my video capture cards and stream/record 4K video easily.

Usually you can’t have a HDMI cable this long, so it’s quite impressive, before I was using HDMI extenders, this is a much cleaner install and works better.

Cable is quite durable, although I’ve been very careful when running it not to bend it just in case.

This HDMI cable is currently around 50 for a 25m fibre cable, this is a great price and it works perfectly well.

It is 25m which is great for running between multiple rooms in your house. The cable is also quite good quality, the connectors on the end feel sturdy and high-quality, the cable also feels good quality and quite durable however it is fibre so I wouldn’t bend it too much.

The picture quality is great and you can easily use it for watching high-quality movies or gaming. The only downside is that it is only HDMI 2.0 which means you cannot do 4k120hz gaming. It is capable of 4k60hz however which is perfect for watching movies or other slow-paced things.

    Overall, I would definitely recommend.

I ordered this to use for testing a new projector which was quite some distance from my AVR so I needed a longer cable than I already had.
This HDMI cable has the latest specifications and is true fibre optic, this means that it can carry a much higher amount of data whilst being able to be made thin and flexible.
As the projector was 1080p with a builtin decoder for 4K I could really only test this at 1080p speeds however since I was running a movie in 4K to the projector which then reduced the picture to 1080p it would have been running at a higher speed. The movie was also in Dolby Vision and with Dolby Atmos audio so the amount of data doesn’t get much higher for a 4K movie.
This cable handled the video and audio without a hitch, there were no artefacts or speckles, just a clean and clear quality image.
The cable itself is nice and thin allowing it to be easily manipulated around tight corners for instance inside a conduit and looks to be nicely insulated. The connections are labeled for in and out, as with all fibre optic HDMI cables they only work one way round, so the output goes to the video source and the input to the TV or projector. When plugging the connectors in they were a good tight fit which won’t come loose until I want them to.
All in all, this is a great quality fibre optic HDMI cable and for a length of 25 meters it is very good value.
Easy to fit and works brilliantly,
    Recommended.

To run a decent HDMI connection over a long distance, you will need something substantial like this cable. I’m happy to report no picture interference or other problems from this cable and was able to get a crisp, clear picture at 4K and 60Hz even at 25m, which is frankly incredible.

As a fibre optic cable, there are a few caveats. It is priced, as fibre optic cables are, higher than a standard cable which would not work effectively at this distance. Assuming you have a case where a 25m HDMI cable is needed, you may be wanting to install this permanently under carpets, under flooring or in walls. I would say that you need to exercise caution — no sharp bends in the cable and don’t install it where it will be trodden on.

However, in terms of how it works, I have zero complaints. It promises reliable performance over 25m and that is what it delivers.

    4k fibre optic HDMI cable.

A fantastic quality, thick and durable, braided HDMI cable. This is 25m long, it can be used for up to 4K movies, gaming etc. You have a fast connection speed. No lags a straight switch over from pc and blue ray player and more.

I’m not sure what else I can say, having a TV that needs the 4K support to get the utmost viewing quality from it, this works perfectly for that. I would recommend it. Slightly more than I thought it would be in price but it is good quality.

Great fibre optic HDMI cable, although being fibre optic it will only work one way! You have to make sure that the source and display plugs are plugged into the corresponding units. I have used it to run from my new Denon AVR X2800H to my 4k Optoma UHD35 projector and it happily takes 4K signal along with HDR colour space at 60fps with no issues. The run was quite a way and a conventional 10m HDMI cable only just reached so this has given me a bit more wriggle space to hide the cable away. 10M is about as far as you can get with conventional cable so for any longer runs fibre optic is the only real solution unless you want to mess about with boosters. Although as it is fibre you will not be able to bend it too much around tight corners or you may snap the glass filament.
Its pricey yes, but if your spooning out a load of dosh on an AVR and projector for a home cinema project it dose not seem as much (I spent more money on speaker cable for the 7.1 system than this cost by some margin)
Oh just a thought though, as my AVR was taking all the sound out of the signal before sending it to the projector so I cannot comment on sound throughput, also all my inputs go into the AVR so I do not use any ARC features either so cannot comment on them as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Make sure you plug it in the right way!

So before we go any further, I got this item at zero cost through the Vine programme, that doesn’t mean it gets a positive review though. User reviews are important, they’re a gem of the internet age and we should use them, so here comes an honest one.

    In the box …
… you get the cable, sensibly coiled with socket caps attached and an information leaflet.

    Build quality …
… is good. Optical cables are delicate in some way in that you should not fold them, only coil them gently. Essentially do not try and introduce any sharp corners or angles in the cable. For that reason they’re also quite supple, which this one is. The cable itself does not need to be shield like metallic cables and this one isn’t. That makes it feel a little limp, but it’s not, that’s how fibre optic cables are. The sockets either end are good quality. They arrive with end caps on to shield from dust or moisture and they’re wrapped in shrink netting to keep the end caps on.

    In use …
… I tested with a 4k signal and it worked fine.

BE SURE to connect the cable ends in the correct order. They are not bi-directional and need to be connected correctly. They’re labelled logically though; “Source” is for the device sending the display signal and “Display” is for the device you intended to receive the signal.

It worked fine. Full 4K 60Hz video signal sent without issue. No ghosting.

    Overall impressions …
… are good. It works as advertised and transmits well over the 25m range just fine. Optical cables don’t suffer the same signal degradation as standard cables and so can transmit over longer distances and this one does.

My only issue is the price. It’s on the more expensive side, however the quality speak for itself. So why didn’t I deduct a star based on the price? Because the price is there for you to see before you buy; it’s down to you to decide if the cable is worth the money to you. As far as I can see it works and is well made. Think about if the capabilities of the cable are worth the price.

This HDMI does the job and works well. The length is just about right to the distance for the PC. I think this is also useful, especially for those people who do video/audio recordings and vlogs. It has high definition and is easy to install. I would give it a 5-star rating if it’s not only overpriced at 55.99 at the time of review.

  10. VenettaW37 says:

     United Kingdom

The amount of bad reviews I see for fibre optic cables with people saying they just don’t work are most probably due to the fact they are not bi-directional like normal HDMI cables. The good thing is that this is made clear in the instructions and on the cable connector housings.

Since originally getting this cable and subsequently moving house I’ve had a bit of a rethink and it is nothing to do with the quality of this cable or it’s performance with my current projector, home cinema set-up and PS4. It great over longer runs, where normal HDMI cables struggle. It thinner, making it easier to hide and/or run through cavities and above the ceiling and the picture quality is very good.

It’s just that my PS4 Pro has just died, courtesy of a dodgy brand new power strip, and I’m going to get a PS5. I may also now or in the near future opt for a 4K projector. As I going to run the cable above the ceiling and drop out down behind the home cinema system, it would make sense for me to opt for one with a higher spec. So, I’m going to go for a 8K HDMI 2.1 Fibre Optic Cable that supports 48Gbps, 8K@60Hz 4K@120Hz for the PS5, Dynamic HDR/eARC/HDCP 2.2, etc.

This cable has been serving me well though. As I’ve yet to get all my broadband, internal networking, TV channels, etc all set-up, So I have been using it to stream Blu-ray movies from an external hard drive, via my laptop, to my 75″ 4K TV and also 4K movies from a streaming services from my tablet.

It does tick a lot of gaming boxes if you want to run lower resolutions but at higher refresh rates and it will connect seamlessly to AMD & Nvidea graphics cards. Saying that, I could connect this up to my Intel 12900K DDR5 Desktop PC in my studio/office and bang a monitor on the wall for some PC based CoD.

Audi wise, there’s plenty to choose from, although I would normally extract the audio prior to sending the picture to my projector and feed it directly into my sound system.

I appreciate you can pay obscene amounts of money for cables but I’m no Pro home cinema critic or audiophile. If it looks and sound good, then I’m a happy hamster. For 55.99, I am that hamster.

I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

This is a really high quality HDMI long cable. At 25 metres this allows me to connect to various monitors/TVs and interactive whiteboards with ease for carrying out presentations and viewing content from my laptop or gaming console. Being 4K fiber optic gold plated connection means I can present in the highest quality I have available to me which is fantastic and certainly helps with engagement and entertainment values.

Great product which I highly recommend.

I am very impressed with this cable, the quality is excellent, as you would expect from a 55.99 (at time of review) cable. It is well made and it needs to be to support its length of 25m.

I have run it between two floors to allow my PC to send Films to my television in the front room, which works great. Always remember that it is an optical cable so it cant be bent and treated like a normal copper cable, so make sure there are no kinks or sharp corners etc.

I have no real complaints on the cable other than the cost is a little high, but you do get what you pay for.

Good quality fibre optic cable. There is a limit to the distance to how long a standard hdmi cable will work and for these kind of distances you really need a fibre optic cable. This does the job perfectly, thin sleek cable with good quality connectors.

Removed a star because wow is it expensive. 55.99 at the time of review for the 25m cable. For that price I would expect it to support hdmi 2.2 for full 4k@120hz.

Similar to another fibre optic cable I ordered a while back, this is the perfect solution for distances that are longer than what a standard cable can support.

As it’s fibre, there is no EMF interference that can affect the cable. So long as the cable is in good condition (so don’t bend it past it’s limit, cause kinks, etc.), then it will carry the signal across perfectly.
Just look at Linus TechTips videos for why he uses fibre where he can.

As with all fibre connections, these will NOT work, unless you plug in the correct orientation. One end is for source, the other is for output.

All media, resolutions and audio formats that I threw at it had no issue.
    4k 60Hz – No probs
    1440p 144Hz – No probs

: At 55.99, at the time of writing,
    This :

: Twozoh Fiber Optic HDMI Cable 25M, 4K Fiber HDMI to HDMI Cable 4K/60Hz (4:4:4 HDR10 HDCP2.2) 1440p 144Hz 18Gbps High Speed UHD Fiber HDMI Cord

Looks to be a very cool, very high standard, and top of the range gigantic HDMI cable.

    But…
    Is it any good?
    Is it good value?
Will I get a lovely cup of tea , at any point during this review?
Well… the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should fire up the telly, and pop on the cable TV, as we have a cable to run, as we take a closer look… …

    Packaging :
It arrives in a lovely, shiny, professional, retail ready box.
The level of packaging is not excessive, or profligate, and is just enough to keep the product safe, and out of the box in good condition.
It makes a very good first impression.

    Recycling :
Most of the packaging can be recycled.

    Contents :
Out of the box, and the contents are easily catalogued:
    1 x HDMI 4K Fiber Optic Cable 25M
    Nice and simple.
    Like me.

    Err…

    Build Quality :
The build quality is very good.
It feels chunky, well put together, and solid.
It feels, and looks pretty durable.
There are no visible flaws, no ragged edges, no mould marks, and no gaps.
It’s all nicely done, and looks the business.

    Features :
I just got a new TV.
I thought the picture quality on it was awesome.
This was the first time, outside of shops, I had seen 4K video.
It blew me away with its detail, and clarity.
I cannot imagine how cool 8K TV is going to look.

But, when my new TV, becomes my old one, and my next TV is 8K, this cable will already be ready and able to take advantage of the shift up in quality.

Buying this, will be like future proofing your TV, or monitor, connection.
You’ll be ready for the change.

It is also long enough to run from anywhere in my house, to anywhere in my house… and probably to my neighbour’s house too. To be quite honest, it might even stretch to the house all the way down the road.
It is SO long, at 25 metres.

Out of the box, and the cable is beautiful.
As much as cables can be beautiful.
    It looks slick, and high-tech.
Like a new pair of trainers… it looked sporty, fast, and ready for action.

The list of features is impressive.
And as I love a list, here we go with an impressive list of its features, and uses :
Dynamic HDR 10+ Dolby Vision 7.1
    eArc (Enhanced Audio Return Channel)
    HDPC 2.2(High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)
    ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode)
    QFT (Quick Frame Transport)
    QMS (Quick Media Switching)
    VRR (Variable Refresh Rate)
    CEC (Consumer Electronics Control)
    EDID (Extended Display Identification Data)
    32 Audio Channels
    Dolby UHD
    HEC (HDMI Ethernet Channel)
YUV 4:4:4 8bit ((Y) luma, or brightness, (U) blue projection and (V) red projection)
Very impressive, and it shows the quality, and versatility, of the cable.

It supports video of 8K@60Hz / 4K@120Hz up to 10K.
    Bandwidth 48Gbps.

Aluminium alloy connector casings, house 24K gold connectors… these are for show, as they do nothing to the 1s and 0s of the digital cable… that run into the beautiful braided nylon cable.

It’s un-kinkable, untangle-able, unbreakable, strong, durable and just looks really cool .
It uses fibre optic technology, which delivers a strong, unbroken signal along the entire length of the cable.

I cannot imagine needing a cable this long, but if you do…
They have built this with you in mind.
25 metres of top-notch HDMI cable.
Being Fibre Optic HDMI 2.1, running long distances without any signal loss is effortless, and delivers a good, strong signal to the destination, a good 25 metres away.

The reason that the cable can deliver such a strong signal such a long way, is that unlike previous copper wire based cables, this uses fibre optic technology, that uses laser light, that moves much faster than electrons in a copper wire, to deliver it’s signal, which as it is light based, will not break down as quickly over long distances.

    Performance :
In testing, only up to 4K, as that’s as high as I’ve gone so far with my visual equipment, it was awesome.
    It was also long.
    Very long.
It filled my house with cable.
Crystal clear audio and video, no interference, no glitches, no problems.
It ran as smooth as a box of buttered frogs .

    Value :
Value wise, it feels like this delivers the goods.
The quality you get with this, makes it a good purchase.
I would happily pay the asking price.

    Summary :
Overall, it’s a very, very impressive cable.
    Great quality, great value.

    Recommendation :
    Definitely highly recommended.

It will be every bit as good as your new equipment for years.
Future proofing your cable for at least the next couple of upgrades.
And ensuring that no matter where you move your TV, or cable box, or PC to… this cable will be able to reach it, as it is the longest cable I have ever seen, or used…

    25 metres… (!)

Now… About that cup of tea……

I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .

Yes it’s 25M long, but it’s only HDMI 2.0 (although it’s HDCP2.2), so the max this can run at is 4K@60Hz, if you want 4K @120Hz or 8K@6Hz you’ll need a HDMI 2.2. At 40 this is over priced, you can get HDMI 2.2 fibre cables for that price.

I’m running at 4K @60Hz, everything looks great to me, I’ve not run into any issues… plus it’s so nice having a thin cable, not one of those big chunky copper HDMI’s. Although quite obvious from the cable itself, this must be connected in the manner dictated by the cable’s output & input… As to the cable itself, it’s incredibly thin, thinner than one of my headphone cables!

    Hope my review was helpful

Used this with a PS4 connected to a PS5 at my friends house. This worked well and no problems. A premium quality cable and super long at 25m! The connector is gold which reduces signal noise. Great quality cable that carries signals over quite a distance with seemingly no loss of quality – certainly not to the naked eye anyway. Connectors are excellent quality and come protected. A few important things worth noting – which are outlined in the instructions – the cable is directional, so be sure to get the plugs the correct way round, and don’t bend it too much; keep a smooth radius and it will be fine.

If you need a long HDMI, this is the one!

I’m using this cable (15m) to plug a Blackmagic 4K Pocket Camera to an ATEM Extreme ISO switcher. The signal is 1080p and it reaches the switcher without degradation or glitches. I plugged the “source” end of the cable to the camera, the “display” in the switcher, and the picture is perfect. I can also use the switcher to adjust the camera’s shutter speed, so the cable is bi-directional ! I wasn’t expecting it to “send” information both ways. This is a great feature. Trying it with my Nvidia Shield, 4K HDR video from Disney+ reaches my processor perfectly. It also passes through both Dolby Atmos and DTS-X bitstreams. Overall: I’m very satisfied with both the quality and price of that cable. Highly recommended !

A Fiber optic HDMI cable is a new and cutting edge version of HDMI cables. They have converters attached to both ends to convert signals into HDMI signals and subsequently transmitting them. The biggest advantage of using these cables is that there is no degradation of signals over large distances of transmission!

As these cables are relatively new in the market hence the more expensive price attached to them, they pack a punch in terms of quality and stability.

I have attached this to my Hikvision CCTV and run the cable all the way from the loft to the ground floor to a TV in the kitchen to monitor the CCTV, they quality is crisp and there is no lag.

The cables are packed nicely and have a really premium feel to it.

Die technischen Siganl-Spezifikationen erfllt das Kabel tadellos. Bin gespannt wie lange es den doch recht harten Einsatz berlebt.
