I had a c section 12/10. I seen these and thought they would be perfect. They are comfortable and true to size but I do have lose hanging skin so the adhesive inside that is supposed to lay on the incision doesn’t lay on mine. Totally my fault. I didn’t even think about that. If you are like me and have the lower belly pooch I would advise buying separate adhesive that you can place on your incision.
The compression/support of these underwear is awesome!
After my c section I had a lot of anxiety about messing up my stitches, hurting my recovery, scarring, the “shelf” etc. I purchased a pair for $120 leggings that were supposed to be specifically for c section recovery. They were awful and I hated them. Saw someone recommend these on a subreddit I’m in and I immediately bought them. They have the perfect amount of compression and the seams don’t hurt my incision. The silicone panel is a great addition.
My only complaints are:
– tight around the thighs. You get used to it as you wear them through the day but it’s not comfortable at first.
– finicky washing instructions. You’re supposed to hand wash and not put them in the dryer. I don’t have time to handwash so I do the delicate cycle, cold water, and hang to dry. Not ideal either.
Really comfortable, helped with pain relief. Only issue, You can’t wear it every day as it needs to be washed. Too expensive to buy a few to change into. Helped right after surgery.
For something I could only appreciate for a week, the price is a little steep.
I bought this as I’ve had a hysterectomy and they have been amazing, supported my stomach and surgery wound perfectly, had surgery 3/4 weeks ago. I’m a size 20 and was worried they wouldn’t fit, I bought size XL and they were perfect. Highly recommend
Great support without feeling too tight. Didn’t use these after my first section and had a lot of scar tissue. Used these after my second section and such a difference, scar healing as just a line with minimal ridging. Silicone definitely improved healing and support holds in the overhang.
Wore them a lot to begin with. Ordered a second pair before the price shot yo to 72! But 7 weeks post op I just wear them occasionally. Hand washing not ideal and found they are very warm to wear. Made my scar get a bit sweaty.
The product is a bit on the small size. I am usually a S/M size in panties, so I ordered also a S/M size. They can be used, but they are very very tight, find it hard to put on, I should have ordered one size bigger.
I am happy I got this product and will use it once my baby arrives. It fits nicely , I bought an L (before pregnancy I was a size 10 and I think now 33 weeks pregnant I am size 12)
It was a bit scary initially putting it on in case it touched my scar but there was no need to be.
It doesn’t put only pressure on the actual scar.
Very comfortable.
Help keep everything feel tucked in and help my stomach muscles feel tucked in and stronger.
I wear it everyday comfortably and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone why has had a section!
Money well spent!!!!
I am a size 12 and ordered the S/M size which I found was the right size as it held everything together.
Defo would recommend this product if you feel need something to hold everything in place whilst u heal.
It made such a huuuge dufferance to the healing process, I wish some one told me about these panties straight away! It is one on my best buys this year A+++
I am SO glad I didn’t go with a designer bag!
This thing is solid. The compartments are lined, tough, hold everything I need. The top part around zipper has metal lining and this ensures the bag holds its form when crushed, or when you’re digging around in it. It’s really well-made, and all of the compartments make sense. With my previous two kiddos the diaper bags had silly compartments that just didn’t make sense, they didn’t fit bottles, or treat containers, or formula holder…. held some tiny wash rags and a pacifier…. what sense do compartments like that even make?! These have insulated compartments for bottles and the way the bag is structured it ensures that it stays upright. I am so pleased with this purchase, this thing is super sturdy and can certainly take a beating, as diaper bags should!
You will immediately notice that the stitching and fabric are extremely tough.
I love that it has the hidden pocket on the back for phone and keys that can’t be accessed by someone behind you when you have it on your back, keeping your valuables from being accessible by someone else. Also, you can put it on your back or hand carry it. I already carry a purse on my shoulder, what do I need or want yet another shoulder bag to weight my shoulder down? Very versatile!
Worth the price and made me feel totally satisfied with not spending a ton of money on a designer bag.
