Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNeeded a tent that fitted 2 people in comfort and you could eat inside sitting in chairs when it was absolutely throwing it down. This fits the bill. It is an Amazon exclusive version of a very good Vango tent, but made a bit cheaper and a bit worse. Some materials are not quite as good – note the odd crinkly plastic windows and I think the poles are not as sturdy. Surprisingly light and compact, you could split it between 3 for back packing and it would be perfectly portable and still give you plenty of room. Would it stand up to winter on Dartmoor? No idea and not going to try, I’ll leave that to numerous YouTubers who do that kind of thing, but for lowland camping in the UK April-October it’s done the job.

Actual blue colour preferred over photo colour. Nice design and build quality. I was concerned that there was no assembly instruction, but it turned out to be something fairly intuitive… my ten year old worked it out.

Tested in -2 Deg C overnight. Comfortable but no wind. Internal tensioners will prove useful on gusty nights.

Not sure if we are missing two vent spacers. We have two but velcro for four.

Great value for money tent, however I found it a little difficult to initially to assemble & quite alot of condensation appeared in the porch area of the morning. Overall though, happy enough with the tent at the price paid!!!

I was looking for a tent with a little more storage and space. Perfect space for 3 people, good head height, especially when its raining and you end up indoors for a while. Only every bought Vango tents due to the strength, reliability and quality. Never been disappointed. Recommended. Happy campers.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWell here i go it was my first time putting up vango 350 venture and first time putting up A Tent, when i open it from the bag it all looks very messy and confusing so I checked up a video on YouTube and within minutes i was ready to go, so first putting up the blue tent get the poles out something I noticed about the poles as im putting them together one pole was broken and I touched the fiber glass rope that’s inside the pole with my hands some serious pain My hands felt like pcs of glass stuck in my hands a prickly feeling everything I touched i was in pain so beware of broken poles and don’t touch the fiberglass and it’s not written anywhere on instructions about touching the firerglass , I would of wore gloves next time my hands are still in bits, anyway i got the poles through easy enough put it all together in around 2hrs 30mins but next time i could do it in 1hr as its pretty straight forward when you get hang of it, i just wish the poles were better quality and warning to wear special gloves and the Pegs are not Amazing they don’t go all the way in the ground maybe im doing something wrong.

The Tent says its three man tent but I could get easily 5 of my friends in tent no problem
3 in the back and 2 in the front and still have room for bags and stuff.

The Tent fabric is well strong but the poles and pegs could of been much better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super spacious TenT

I chose this over the Tasman 3 as it has more porch space and head heigh clearance. It is slightly bigger and heavier that the Tasman 3 (good tent on You Tube) but Vango 350 is still carriable. Give 5 star review for good looks and specs – yet to be tested in the field – will update review in later this year.

Bought for camping in Scotland for two people – good size to have lots of space, easy to assemble, nice feature to have two open doors and windows. Only dropped a star because it leaked slightly at the corner seams but that was during heavy Scottish rain, survived the wind though!

Have only put the tent up in the garden, but it is a great size, we have a quechua popup but for more than a couple of days it gets cramped. This however has loads of room in the sleeping compartment and a porch area with doors to either side, quick and simple to erect (15 mins) 5 minutes to take down. and packs away surprisingly small.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe are frequent campers, and needed something small to take to Iceland on a camping holiday, as it was cheaper to buy and take out there than to rent! (our usual tent is an 8 man Bell Tent) I was worried that this would be really tiny for us, It was used for two adults, however we managed to sleep two adults and two kids in there on one night!
The porch area is very roomy, and the dog sleeps in there (he’s a big husky) and still room for bags etc. Easy to put up, very sturdy, no leaks, and warm as its double skin. Great small tent, and good value for money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat and Spacious tent. Easy to setup and kept me and my tent guests bone dry through an hour long thunderstorm, both in the porch area the inner sleeping area.
4/5 stars because inner tent had a tear near the mosquito net and had to return for refund.

Used for two at a rainy Glastonbury. No problems. Was a little tricky pitching, as the fly was touching the inner on the first attempt, but re-pitched carefully and all was OK.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat tent for camping, easy to put up. The tent does say waterproof, however where we went we had torrential rain, therefore there was a lot of damp in the tent however given how bad the rain was this tent held up pretty well. We did see others which had collapsed and soaked through.

Best base camp tent I have found so far for the money! Its Black so it can get HOT in there ( watch the dogs)! I changed the pegs to yellow plastic high impact, The Vango is always packed in my car, easy to put up, Great tent if you don’t have to carrie it up a mountain, I feel its the perfect 1st tent for people wanting to try camping for the 1st time, It gives you every thing you need!
Serious value for the money, nice space to be in when its throwing it down to eat a MRE

    3 man spacious tent.

We had this up in the Cairngorms towards the end of season. It is surprisingly easy to set up and plenty of space for 2/3 in the main compartment and nearly the same space again for all the gear in the front porch.

It does have a rather large footprint but for my uses that doesn’t matter.

    Would recommend.

Really easy to put up and take down. Kept us dry and snug in fairly heavy rain and waterlogged ground, the porch is great for the additional space and somewhere to hang out when it’s raining. Only reason it didn’t get a five star rating is because the poles are a bit flimsier than I would like.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought this to use when camping on early spring and late autumn as or other tent is too large to heat up during the colder weather. The tent is fine for two mature adults and a single dog but its probably not a full 3 man tent. Reasonably well made and well specified, it suffered from a badly cut rear section which flapped and leaked in wet and windy weather – the cut was so sloppy the inner was constantly in contact with the outer, causing crossover leaking into the sleeping section. Even in a 15mph breeze it proved easy to put up, with good flyscreen ventilation (on one door only) and a full extended groundsheet which covered the porch area and overlapped the sewn in skirt, thereby keeping out the creepies – which is a worthwhile improvement, With the main body being black we wouldn’t recommend for hot weather, or anywhere where it might be hit by direct sunlight, gets really really hot and stuffy inside and needs the extra door open to facilitate air movement. Another downside is that water comes in when you open the door if it’s been raining – needs a supported porch wing over the doors – and the zips kept jamming on the door flap trims. Overall a great tent with plenty of room, easy to put up and take down and good firm to order from. Quick delivery, no problems

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI camped on a biking weekend in Scotland for the first time, in what can only be described as monsoon conditions the tent was easily put up and stayed warm and dry. Loved the little colour coded clips and when going to Wales the following weekend I managed to put it up myself in 25 minutes while my husband parked the car! Very impressed as never put a tent up before so very easy.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGood tent. Spacious. Not too hard to assemble. Wouldn’t recommend for hot weather though, or anywhere where it might be hit by direct sunlight, gets really really hot and stuffy inside. Lightweight, but certainly not light enough for trekking or hiking.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersHad a go at putting this one up in the garden last night – took slightly longer than the 15 mins mentioned on the instructions! However once it was up I was really pleased. Excellent quality and feels as if it could withstand alot of weather! Having read reviews of similar Vango three man tents it seems that some of the small niggles have been ironed out – velcro tabs to stop rain getting in, porch groundsheet sewn in etc. All in all a well deserved 5 stars.
Have now used the tent for a week – couldn’t be more pleased with it. We had some hard rain over a couple of nights and had to take in refugees from other tents that were leaking (plenty of room in the porch area), but this one stayed dry and unflappable in the strong wind!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this tent to be an upgrade from the little “2 man” coffin that I’d used in previous years, as I was intending to spend a week away in a field. This was a massive improvement, a spacious sleeping quarters and a porch that you could fit maybe two mountain bikes in if you wanted. The weather held so I can’t comment on its performance in wind and rain but it was rather warm inside at midday. Minor niggle was how the zip would keep catching the trim and jam, I was worried I’d rip the outer sheet while trying to coax it out.
Overall a great tent with plenty of room, easy to put up and take down.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI would say that the sleeping area fits 2 adults than 3, but there is plenty of space for storage which could easily be converted into a sleeping area. The only concern I have is the gap between the flysheet and bottom of the inner tent which is a bit loose and may let water inside the tent. I would need to see it when it rains, so far very happy with this purchase
