First batch was a little tricky. Of course, I had to get used to the amount and timing. The light goes on when it’s ready, and all I had to do was leave it in for 5 more seconds. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase would recommend. Like come on just look at those cones in the picture 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really like using this cone maker. I followed the recipe given and directions and felt really comfortable using this. I did have a few trial cones where I didn’t add enough batter it didn’t remove it early enough so it was a bit dark but once I got the hang of it, I really liked it!

I’m a big fan of sugar and waffle cones This machine is so much fun. I also have used it to make cheese crackers and pita bread
I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far its great.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this on a whim—home- baker. There are no temperature controls. So they made it idiot proof. The griddle itself is uneven in the cooking. Now, the basket portion is not as easy to use there is a hole in the finished product every time. Maybe it was me. The recipe for the cones is gross. We used the mix and that was a significant improvement. Pro tip# use ice cream or cookie scoop, smaller is better. The 2 min timer is set as soon as you close the maker.
    Again get your own recipe
Make the bowl a few times before you give up.
    Smaller waffles are better.

Not bad after you get the hang of it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the best. If you like waffle cones, just buy it. It’s incredibly easy to use and the recipe is delightfully simple. It does get a small amount of condensation under the “ready” light while operating, but it dries out as it cools down after use. 10/10 favorite gadget in my kitchen!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI did a lot of reviews before I settled on a cone maker, let’s face it, totally a luxury item that probably nobody has room for in their kitchen. It’s everything they said it was!

I make keto sugar free waffles with almond flour and flax, nothing sticks, however I do wipe a light coating of oil in the beginning and after a couple of cones being made. They turn out perfect, but not as crisp as the ones with a cane sugar sweetener, so I put them in the oven for 30 minutes on 200 and they are beautiful!

I recommend this product especially if you want to make alternative sugar free or grain free cones. Everyone loves an ice cream cone, especially in the heat of summer. A worthy luxury kitchen accessory.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersMy boys and I have not had and ice cream cone in eight years! I used the recipe that came with the unit, replaced the flour with King Arthur’s measure for measure and PERFECTION!!! They don’t cook perfectly even as some have stated. I can live with that. With just under 1/4 cup of batter for each cone (or bowl) I was able to get 7 cones with my first recipe. I will say rolling those cones will burn your fingers, but it was still kind of fun for this gal whose first job back in 1988 was TCBY! Bringing back the memories.

We’ve made waffle cones and bowls with this a few times and it does the job. The outside of the appliance does get very hot. The waffle cones end up with parts that are dark and parts that are pale but that could be a recipe issue and they still taste great.

easy to use, easy to clean, not heavy, doesn’t take a lot of space. I like it, and nice price for the quality. Highly recommend to buy. I bought to bake home for my household, not to bake for selling.

En general est bien, muy bsico y algo complicado de usar de acuerdo con otros equipos ms o menos del mismo precio. Es cuestin de acostumbrarse ir calculando los tiempos.

It has been fun to use and easy to operate so far. The only difficulty I find is with the the heat of the waffle when rolling it into a cone. I don’t have great dexterity when using oven mitts, yet it is too hot to operate with bare hands. This is a little tricky.

The machine is ok to use, needs a timer on it. The back side cooks faster and the product is thinner then the front. So uneven cooking. Hard to roll the waffle around the cone, the bowl worked great no issues at all. I will not keep this machine, I will gift it to my niece as she is less picky. So for the price it is ok..

Golden Review Award: 69 From Our UsersWe made the cones and there are few things to bear in mind.

After placing the dough on the hot iron, close the lid, wait a couple of seconds, and let gravity do its work, then give the lid a firm push down to make the cone as thin as possible, otherwise, the dough remains too thick and it will be a soft, rather than crunchy cone.
We baked the cone for about 3 minutes, let it really brown up, light spots will remain soft.

The bowl maker is not perfect and worked better after unhinging it, so you can press the bowl into shape by pushing uniformly from the top, rather than pushing it over the side, which kept tearing the cup. You can also use two bowls, one larger than the other and get a better shape.
This was merely a learning process, but otherwise, the cone maker works just fine; I’d definitely recommend it.

*** Works very nicely, with minor quirks ***
