Blade Maintenance
In order to ensure that you get the life and performance out of your clipper or trimmer, we recommend regular oiling.
- Blades should be oiled after cleaning with our Hygienic spray.
- Clippers should be oiled with our Blade oil after each use.
- Trimmers should be oiled once a day or after several usages.

Don’t know what the battery life will be like but as it’s only for my personal use should be fine.

After many years of hard service, my old clippers weren’t cutting it…literally!
The reviews on many of the clippers were mixed, so I plumped for these, despite my reservations about being cordless, and the playschool coloured combs. Fair to say, my reservations were completely unfounded…open box, clip on comb, buzz…done. So much better than the old ones. Sharp, precise and, yes, finding the right comb is easy now.

Good basic kit for doing your own hair at home, the battery life is very good , I’ve used it for multiple cuts on a single charge plus you can use it whilst plugged in too which is good . Comes with all the attachments you need. Scissors and comb are very basic but not really what I bought it for .
Quiet, easy to use, light weight and feels nice in your hand. Removable head for easy cleaning, several haircuts per charge, useful colour coded guides. Product could be improved with the addition of a better case but I used the case from my previous Wahl which I dropped and broke. It had been working well for 25 years.
Great hair trimmer kit. Easy to use, the colour coded heads make changing the length of cut a doddle. Highly recommended – in fact my son bought one on my recommendation and is very pleased with it. Oh also great value for money
During Covid I bought a cabled version of this type of product. The real hassle was that one had to plug in an extension cable and run it into the bathroom in order to cut one’s hair in front of an illuminated mirror. The other irksome feature was that the comb attachments were all in black plastic and the numbers designating the size of the combs were indistinctly impressed into the plastic. one of my aims in life is to reduce faff and these deficiencies all resulted in faff to the point that my hair languished long before I could bring myself to set up for a trim. This product has had the considerable benefit of reducing the faff: it runs on a battery, although corded use is also possible; it has combs differentiated in size by colour. And of course, I no longer feel obliged to pretend to be interested in the interminable spiel about football or motorbikes that experience has taught are the main, possibly only, conversational topics of barbers once they have you in the chair.
All in all I’d definitely recommend the kit because the clippers are the most important but I’d say you may also need to get some better scissors
This is my second set and they are even better than the earlier model. Battery last long enough for a haircut without re-charging and the selection of attachments gives plenty of scope for different styles
Got for my husband to use on holiday he uses hair clippers once a week but eveytime we have taken the corded clippers abroad they just don’t work properly these are brilliant charge at home and away we go
Great set of hair trimmers I had a corded set before then I brought a cordless Remington set because I want a cordless set but they were not as good as the wall pair so as the Remington set don’t hold their charge any more I brought a wall and I am not disappointed with my purchase it is just brillia
This has everything that you’ll need to do a haircut or tidy-up facial hair. It’s great quality, goes through thick hair no problem, with no tugging or plucking like our old pair used to do. The grades being different colours is a great plus point and it’s really good value for money too.
These ones are acceptable.
They’re heavy-ish but with an expected plastic feel, and I’m not sure how long they’re going to last.
Included accessories are as usual, with the bonus of the combs being colour coded and therefore it’s easier to remember which one you generally use.
Power is good, they cut through my friend’s thicker mane with ease and don’t snag or jam up when on battery power. On myself, I cut without a comb and have found that these don’t cut as close as I’d like and am used to with my previous clippers.
The included “trimmer” is even more plastic-y and runs on one AA battery. Not even sure what it’s there for and so I’ll probably not use it.
All in all, it does it’s job acceptably but it’s not great quality and doesn’t cut as close as I’d like.
It is a nice clipper kit, but it is heavier than my last one. I cut my husband’s hair, but found after 5 minutes my wrist needed a break. Would I recommend, yes if you have strong wrist’s !!
