I’ve been lighting up my garden with these solar-powered gems. They switch on as the evening draws in, casting a warm glow over my little sanctuary. The various lighting modes cater to every mood, whether it’s a quiet evening or a lively gathering. The solar panel does a grand job on sunny days, but the USB charging is a lifesaver during the gloomier times. While they’re a delightful addition, a tad more brightness would make them perfect for those who relish a well-lit outdoor space.
The ambiance of my garden has been transformed with these solar string lights. The ease of solar charging, complemented by a USB option, offers versatility and convenience. The automatic lighting, with multiple modes, creates a captivating atmosphere that extends my evenings outdoors. They’ve proven resilient against the elements, ensuring my garden remains a welcoming space regardless of the weather. This lighting solution has not only illuminated my outdoor area but also enhanced the overall ambiance, making it a cherished addition to my home.
Upon initial inspection I was surprised at the package size of the bundle of lights and wire and solar panel.
I obtained the set to use on my motorhome and assumed that like most things it would pack up very small.
The kit is provided with simple multi language instructions, and it took a simple plug in to test the lights.
The solar panel / battery is a compact unit with both ground spike and screw fixings included.
The bulbs are lightweight and plastic so I would hope that they will be resistant to breakage or failure. A spare bulb is included.
4 light settings are available Solid, Breathing Mode, Fast Strobe, Slow strobe. Although the light provided when tested indoors is quite subdued and the flashing functions irritating, and not one I would use.
I look forward to testing out these lights and will update this review when I have had the opportunity to use them.
We’ve put these in our back garden for a little mood lighting. The solar panel seems to have a sizeable battery incorporated, and it can be charged by USB if you’re planning a party and haven’t had enough sun recently. It’s a nice feature that I can really appreciate.
I set the bulbs to be on their brightest setting, but it’s only really for a sprinkle of light in the garden, rather than something to see by. That is a limitation of using solar, rather than mains powered lights. Even after a full day in the sun, we only get a little light, enough for some cheer in the spring garden.
It’s a nice feature to have replaceable bulbs on a festoon like this, but I can’t help but wonder where I’ll find this very specific model of bulb once the spare one included has also been used up. There are no marking on the bulbs to tell you what you might need to look for.
I was really impressed with these lights, they were a good level of brightness and feel sturdy. It was great to find a length like this at such a good price and I would definitely recommend them to others.
Lovely lights, they’re perfect under my pergola. They give off so much light on 100%. The dimmer function is ideal for more subtle ambient lighting. And I love that you can extend the set if needed.
I purchased these lights with trepidation after a similar product only lasted 18month with rain water getting into the bulbs through the bulb holders. Thankfully these are a much more robust design and the lights are much brighter. There is generous length cable leading to first bulb and whilst the space between bulbs is a bit long I’m happy overall and they look great of an evening. You can also purchase a second set and extend directly from the end of the first which is handy. I also purchased a smart controllable plug which makes switching on and off from my phone a doddle.
Since the weather is so bad at the minute, haven’t had the chance to put them out in my garden, but tested then indoors all’s fine. May even buy more once I get the 2 sets I already go, up on display.

Supplier messaged me within 1 day and offered a full refund with an apology. Can not fault this service and wouldn’t put me off buying these again. Like I said great product however somethings sometimes go wrong. Thanks agai
I did have a problem with the solar panel the lights worked straight out of the packaging but haven’t worked since then. I think I had a faulty solar panel so they sent out a brand set of lights. Customer service was very quick.

Lights are fine but the package on delivery was shocking took 2 hours to untangle them at one felt like just stuffing them back in box and sending them back

We bought these lights arrived on time and all looked good till we opened up the box the lights were so tangled up it took us 2 hours to untangle them we nearly put them back in the box and sent them back could not recommend them for that reason alone which is a shame as they are very good when we did eventually after 2 hours but they also offered a reduction in the sales price for our problem. This was done promptly so you can’t fault the service and the lights are very good quality
I have doubled up each row for extra brightness and used Q hooks which made the process really easy. I then tidied up with cable ties and tacked the cables to neaten up the wires. They look great. Really cheap ro run too.
I’ve just installed these bulbs in a triangle from the pitch of my extension to either corner of the garden, they work well and look great. The connection was made above the furniture but it’s easy to hide. The only downside was 1 bulb was blown from the start so already into the spare bulbs hopefully they all last well as they look good
