This fan is quite powerful and gives off a good amount of cold air with the option of oscillating or being static but is quite noisy when on the highest setting.
It also has a timer however unfortunately the timer on mine only works for a few seconds before it stops “ticking” so I can’t use it which is why I’ve taken a star off
This fan is brilliant, considering temperatures are high this fan fixes everything. It oscillates, 3 different speed settings and even has a timer if you don’t want it on all the time! Great price also. Very sturdy so will be long lasting
Great fan, has lots of power to it and we’ve only needed to use it on the lowest setting. Gets around the whole room, with an oscillating feature. This fan is for my daughters bedroom but we do occasionally use it in the living room on very hot days. Would recommend.
The base is a bit fiddly to assemble and attach as the supplied diagram-only instructions appear to be for a previous version with a different fitting. It is reasonably obvious where the screw that isn’t mentioned needs to go to secure it and where the cord has to go for safety. The fan itself is quiet (not noiseless but easily able to sleep with it on), rotates and blows the air at different rates so can be set for the right degree of cooling. It also has a timer that I haven’t used yet. Effective and good value.
This thing is brilliant. 3 really nice and powerful levels.
It’s not completely silent but definitely on the quieter side.
Literally worth every penny spent I am so happy with it.
Has kept my cool through the heat waves so far and is slim and non intrusive to the room. Definitely recommend it!
Bought this for cooling an over-hot conservatory, works really well. Nice looking tower fan in white, three fan speed settings, oscilates, timer (which I probably won’t use) not too loud on low setting, slightly more on high but it’s a fan (or fans!) so to be expected considering the low price. 10 out of 10 for me!
I purchased this tower fan to replace an old pedestal fan and am I pleased to spent the little extra. It takes less floor space, is considerably quieter and I believe just as effective. Overall very pleased with this easy to operate fan.
Lvl3 gives really high air movement and it’s Dan whir is not picked up by my mic when on conference calls (about 3m away), so that is a plus.
Bad bits: Lvl1 is IMO pointless as it’s not “quiet” at all and there is no chance of me sleeping with it on. It is slightly quieter than lvl2 but the air movement to noise ratio just doesn’t stack up.
The fan noise is a higher pitch than your normal fan which is more of a low hum, so some may find it annoying or hard to switch off from when in a quiet room.
It’s great for use around the home and I place it by an open door with a direct line to a window, the slightly cooler air is pulled in rather than trying to blow the hot air out which generally doesn’t work. It’s air movement for fans rather that direct cooling with AC.
Unit seems pretty solid, nothing squeaking or rattling which is good. Grey colour is a nice neutral tone so it doesn’t stand out.
Aside from putting a fan in your face or getting an industrial unit in your home, I doubt spending more money is really worth it unless your want a talking point are a brand snob or want a seriously quiet fan.
