These light well and long enough to start fire so do that job, they are however as other reviews point out difficult to break apart. I used a Stanley knife in the end.
I wasn’t really impressed when I open the box to find a box as I thought they were very small, even though you get 288. It just doesn’t look good value for money until you break one up and light it in the fire and I have to say it burns superiorly Better than other firelighters, I’ve had you get a nice flame consistent burn and it burns for a long time which really enables my wouldst to get going. Very impressed. Highly recommend these little blocks are superb.
I also found the don’t have any after smell if you leave the box open very little aroma on your hands after touching, I am really happy
These firelighters are amazing! They work every single time you use them. No matter how good or bad you are at lighting a fire, these make it fast and easy to do and your basically garenteed a fire every time. Totally worth the purchase. I’m not sure of you can see them in the pictures, but they are GREAT! DEFINITELY recommend, have purchased them twice so far and plan on future purchases.
Absolutely great product. Lights first time and burns slow enough to get the fire burning well. A real positive is they don’t leave that horrible smell on your hands like a lot of fire lighters do. Highly recommend and will be buying agai
These natural firelighters come nicely boxed and they come as a pack of 288. Each firelighter is quite long and very obviously natural, they have almost like a raffia coating. They light easily and take a little longer to get going than the chemical type fire lighters but the bonus is that they burn for longer and you also don’t get that horrible chemical smell. Price wise they work out a little more expensive but I would definitely consider buying these again.
They are basically like compressed, soaked fibrous cardboard that tear and break apart very easily so handy to use.
I use them for my wood stove which is a very small Peanut 3. Previously I used dry tea bags lightly saturated in meths and kept in a sealed jar (good for recycling) and they light instantly and burn long enough to start a fire but can’t always be bothered with the process.
These blocks are very good. I find they take slightly longer to light, a couple seconds using a windproof lighter but I need as little as 1/2 of one block under my jenga stacked kindling and they get it lit every time so excellent for my setup and will last me a long time with 320 cubes in the box, great value. I also notice no smell when they burn.
Being processed in flat sheets also means they are neat and don’t take up too much space in a smaller box than loose packed fire lighters.
Im happy with the product and would buy again.
