Good quality
I have been using this hiking backpack for several outdoor activities and I am very satisfied with it. It is a 40L capacity backpack that can fit all my essentials and more. It is made of durable and waterproof material, and has a breathable and comfortable back panel. It has multiple compartments and pockets, and a rain cover. It also has adjustable straps and buckles, and a whistle and a reflective strip for safety. It is suitable for hiking, camping, cycling, skiing, climbing, trekking, mountaineering, and other sports. It is also a great gift idea for men and women who love outdoor adventures. I think this is a great product for anyone who needs a hiking backpack.
Proper bag that doesn't break the bank.
This is a backpack designed it says for hiking, but actually can be used for anything. It has loads of pockets and lets you hide a device away but have an earphone cable or the included usb cable trail outside without apparently compromising waterproofing too much.
Pockets/spaces that I can recall include:
Large main comprtment, this has a space that could be used for larger devices – although I wouldn’t be happy putting an expensive table in there with out additional padding. It’s just secured by a clip which could give you issues and why I’ve docket a star, I think it should be better than that.
On the front of this there’s a smaller pocket for stuff you might need while travelling – keys, wallet, plus a couple of mesh pockets for water bottles and so on.
In the end it’s a good occasional bag. I’m sure if I was a serious hiker it wouldn’t have enough pockets or be tough enough, but it’s good for work and doesn’t strain my back.
built for the outdoors
Embarking on a few hikes, this backpack proved its worth. The multiple compartments made organising gear straightforward. Waterproofing held up under light showers, keeping contents dry. Adjusting the straps for comfort was easy and the padded shoulders eased the load. With more treks planned, it promises to be a reliable ally, though time will determine its true durability.
Perfect for travel
I have taken this backpack seemingly everywhere since receiving it. It has a handy compartment that is big enough to fit my laptop in and plenty of space for accessories. The construction of the bag is great and it’s held up to almost 7kg worth of stuff packed tightly in to it. It’s comfortable to wear and fairly stylish – for under 20 it’s an absolute bargain!
Lightweight rucksack with many pockets useful for holidays and day trips
The item arrived enclosed in a clear plastic wrapper. There is quite a lightweight feel to the rucksack overall. It is a smart mixed grey/green and black design with a professional looking ‘Alitifiy’ mountain logo on. On arrival, the shoulder straps had not been threaded through their clasp, but this was easy enough to do. The bag has plenty of pockets; there is a small, zipped pocket for wallets etc at the front. There is a front larger zipped compartment, and then the main zipped compartment. The main compartment also has an open elasticated pocket within it that might be suitable for a small tablet computer or documents.. There is a small, zipped pocket at the top of the rucksack for keys etc. All-in-all, there are lots of places to put things. With the rucksack you also get a USB-to-USB charging cable. and there is a plastic surrounded hole at the side so that you can the cable to connect something inside the bag with something outside. There is also a hole labelled as for headphones but oddly, on the one I received, the hole does not seem to go right through into the bag so it is not really any use. There is a large open topped pocket at the front, with just a clip fastening a flap over it. This does not seem that secure, particularly if you are taking the bag on and off a lot or leaving it on the floor while resting, eating travelling in a bus etc and things could potentially fall out. There are two mesh open pockets, one at each side which could be suitable for water bottles. There are also straps to adjust the thickness of the overall bag, two at the bottom, one on each side, these could be useful if travelling. The rear of the rucksack is padded and there is padding at the base of the main compartment. There are also chest and waist belts which have quite a generous fit. I found the bag reasonably comfortable to wear. According to the description this is a 40L bag. It uses medium weight fabric and medium weight zips. It has some of the features that you might expect in a hiking rucksack but for extended use, a heavier weight fabric and more solid zips would be more suitable. This seems a good choice for a holiday day-bag or short trips.
Good capacity and is comfortable on the back...
This backpack arrives in a resealable pouch, and it is folded in half inside.
The backpack is lightweight and feels well made with good materials. It is waterproof and has two big main compartments. The front one is the whole height of the backpack and is one single compartment. The rear one is the largest and inside you’ll find a big storage space with an elasticated pouch at the rear which is halfway up the back. On the outside you have two elasticated pouches for bottles or similar sized things and there is one on each side. There is a pouch on the front of the bag which can’t be closed and a zip at the side of the front to access another pocket.
There is a USB slot which allows you to slide in your own power bank USB port to add USB charging to the backpack. It does come with the USB cable, but you do have to provide your own power bank. There is also a headphone lead opening which allows you to have your MP3 player in your bag and have your wired headphones on the outside. The hole is sealed though so you have to pierce the sealed area yourself to open it up.
This is quite a nice backpack for the money. It feels well made and has plenty of storage options. There is fair amount of cushioning to the back with two lines that go up which has a good amount of cushioning. There is still a good amount of cushioning between the two rows though and it’s comfortable against the bag even when the backpack is full. The straps have the same cushioning and are comfortable on your shoulders for a good amount of time. I’ve worn it for 90 minutes and it was still ok to wear without any discomfort with half a load inside.
Lots of space and well laid ou
Well made and versatile backpack. It is comfortable to wear even when fully loaded and there is plenty of adjustment.
Works well as a hiking backpack or as a work backpack for your laptop and gadgets.
Very large bag
My son took this to school there’d plenty of space in this bag for books and pe kit also like the idea of the charging port so he can take his power bank to school and charge his phone it’s very lightweight and easy to adjust to the size of the body overall a very good size bag
OK budget backpack
This backpack is OK for day use and as a carry on bag for air travel. It’s very lightweight, with little in the way of cushioning and whilst I have travelled on a plane with a laptop carried in it recently, I wouldn’t want to entrust it to use whilst hiking. It has a good amount of pockets but no supporting frame, so, for example, the pocket in which I put my wallet and passport collapses down in to the bag. This isn’t a major problem, but just an indication that its not really high quality.
The fabric is a bit scratchy and plasticy as well, which indicates it’s on the budget side of quality. The seams appear to be of good quality and robust. Time will tell on that score.
I can’t recommend, as such, as I think for protection and longevity, it’s probably better to invest in something a little stronger.
Awesome kit bag
plenty of space for books, lunch boxes, water bottles, etc. Over the shoulder straps nicely padded and re-inforced stitching where it connects to the bag.
The tightening strap reduces the width down nicely too cutting down any bulk and stopping kit from rattling. Everything looks strong and well made, if i were being picky i think rain could get in through the zips but thats really the only thing.
Overall though, a really lovely bag, lightweight and with lots of space to hold everything.
Lightweigh
Very lightweight but expands to a good size. Loads of pockets. A small amount of padding. Nice to have a chest strap to prevent a loaded backpack pulling down on the shoulders. Side netted pockets are large and would fit a large water bottle and a pac a mac. For the price it is very good, nowhere near as sturdy as some but they are more expensive, so unless you are going to be doing some very serious hiking in the mountains for days on end I think this backpack would cover most eventualities.
Well-designed and made day pack
It is comfortable to wear and includes a waist strap. There is a convenient aperture for feeding a cable between a device in the rucsac and something like an earpiece. This aperture makes an ideal entry for a drinking tube, given that there is an inner pocket close to the person’s back that would take a hydration bladder, something we prefer rather than stopping to access a water bottle. However, there are two bottle nets, one on each side and they are taller and more satisfactory in use than on many packs, where bottles can fall out easily. There are easy to use fittings for securing trekking poles when not needed. The capacity is good for carrying foul weather clothing as well as food and other essentials.
Lightweight!
Nice & light weight, good texture as found on most other hiking backpacks. Lower torso straps in addition to traditional shoulder straps – definitely help disperse weight.
USB charging is a bit of a perk, although you can feed your own cables through the slot by just pushing out the usb to usb adapter currently in there.
No real issues, quality’s quite good for the price!
Great pack for dry weathe
I have been after a backpack for taking on my off-road bike rides and this is perfect for the job. Its unfortunately not waterproofed, but if like me you only ride/walk on a nice sunny day then this should be ideal for the job. It should hold up to light showers, but there is no waterproof tape on the seams etc, so in sustained rain your items will get wet.
It appears to be well made with a light weight, but strong fabric and has reinforcing on the main seams to add strength. Ideal for packing light for short trips. Loads of internal and external zipped and elasticated pockets and a USB and headphone grommet for your tech. The straps and back of the pack are nicely padded with a breathable mesh fabric which makes it very comfy to wear.
I’m no expert on outdoor kit, but this pack is very comfy, even while riding on rough ground and is perfect for my needs, so I’m very happy with it.
Spacious and water resistant backpack for hiking and education.
Got this backpack for my daughter who started university this September. The back is lovely and spacious with USB charger, headphone jack and water resistant. Has pockets inside and outside for accessories and holds her water bottle and the handle are padded for more comfort. Overall can also be used for hiking and camping and feels lightweight and comfortable to carry.
Good as a day pack
Very well made and not a bad design in general. The stitching is pretty standard on any brand. A few minor issues that for me rule it out as a more serious backpack though and make it a day pack instead.
There is no frame to this at all, which is clear from the ad pictures to be fair and that means that if you filled it to its capacity it would be sitting firmly against your back and basically then a large sack. Also, the waist straps don’t have a proper heavily padded section to allow you to take the weight on your hips correctly. Lastly, the top zips don’t have a flap to cover them and would increase the chance of rain going straight in. However, as a lighter weight day back for a shorter stroll somewhere it’s excellent. The number and arrangement of pockets is great!
I have a pack from a certain Swedish company that has basically just one very large compartment and another zipped pocket on the back, nothing more. I also have one from a very well-known German company that has more pockets, but they’re just in the strangest places and hard to make use of. For a good day out with sandwiches and drinks, water and food for the dog, plus map and compass of course, then this is almost certainly the bag I’ll be using. If I want to walk across Dartmoor definitely not. It can hold enough but won’t be comfortable after a few miles.
One last thing, those USB and headphone connections – the USB yes but I’d probably have my phone tucked inside anyway, but the headphone jack doesn’t exist. There’s a rubber patch where it should be, but there isn’t even an opening through the bag to the inside, let alone a jack. Am I bothered? Not in the slightest. It’s a good bag for walking and I don’t need the tech built in. Taking everything together, 4*.
A Tardis!
This rucksack didn’t look too promising compared to my old one, but with its very light weight combined with plentiful deep pockets (both zipped and open) and a connection for phone battery made me change my mind. I got an enormous amount of shopping in it and the wide, padded back straps made it very comfortable
40L = Its huge :-)
This backpack is quite large and great for hiking trips. With six compartmnts and two sid pockts, I could ffortlssly organise my gar.
During a rcnt trip, I managed to bnd my laptop and hnc larnd it the hard way that it’s tim to buy a new bag with more of protection. This on sms to b okay and I hope it will sav my nw laptop.
I hav trid it in th rain and it’s watr-rsistant so that’s grat. Most of the ths sorts of bags com with charging lads but obviously, you will nd your own powr bank. Th adjustabl buckl straps cam in handy whn I ndd to scur camping gar, and th paddd shouldr straps mad it comfortabl to carry.
Ovrall I am prtty plasd with it but tim will tll how it will lasts. I will try to updat this in a few months if its not that great as it feels now.

This backpack is not just another piece of hiking gear; it’s a comprehensive solution for adventurers who want to stay connected while exploring the great outdoors.
One of the most compelling aspects of this backpack is its spacious 40-liter capacity. It offers ample room for all your hiking essentials, from clothing layers and food supplies to camping gear and photography equipment. The multiple compartments and pockets are thoughtfully designed to keep your belongings organized and easily accessible, making it a versatile choice for both day hikes and multi-day excursions.
But what truly sets this backpack apart are its integrated USB Charger and Headphone jack. These features bring a touch of modern convenience to the wilderness, allowing you to keep your devices charged and your music flowing without having to fumble with external power banks or tangled cords. The USB port is particularly useful for long hikes where access to electricity is limited, ensuring that you can capture every moment on your smartphone or GPS device.
Comfort is another area where the Alitifiy 40L Hiking Backpack excels. The padded shoulder straps and ventilated back panel distribute weight evenly, reducing the strain on your back and shoulders. Aesthetically, the backpack has a sleek and modern look, with a color scheme that is both eye-catching and practical for outdoor use. It’s a design that will appeal to both traditional hikers and the tech-savvy generation.
Versatile rucksack
This backpack held up well during my outdoor adventures. The compartments and pockets accommodated my essentials and the charging port was a handy feature. It endured the outdoor elements and didn’t lose shape or durability. The strap designs to secure camping gear was a nice touch. Despite its utility, I found it less suitable for short excursions.
This is a great and very useful backpack that is well made with good quality materials. It’s lightweight and waterproof with many different compartments/pockets for various things like laptop, camera, clothes, water bottle, documents, pens, phones, sunglasses, etc. The headphone interface as well as the USB port are very nice features that standard backpacks do not normally have.
Overall, it’s a well designed backpack that is not only suitable for hiking but will also be ideal for travel, work, school, etc, and I am happy to recommend this.
