Effective AA batteries
These are good value for money batteries that do the job. They don’t last as long as some of the more premium and more expensive batteries but are perfectly serviceable for all uses. I’ve put them into torches, game controllers and remotes.
A modern alkaline cell that doesn't leak when exhausted
I remember the days of leaky batteries, and when alkaline came along with the variants, this changed but I have noticed that even duracell batteries leak when done, and I have lost too many Maglites and expensive kit from leaky cells.
I have a box of dead cells for recycling and the Amazon basic batteries are still intact whilst their OEM companions are growing all sorts of rubbish from exuded fluids.
For the moment, these Amazon cells are all I buy.

A no braine
I purchased these AA batteries in Dec 23. They are used for powering led string lights for decorational purposes. The last set of batteries I used were lasting approx 5 days before the batteries required replacement. I’m pleased to say I put these batteries in on the 7th Dec 23 and they are only now slightly dimmer and it’s the 21st Feb 24. Although far dearer than my 3 for 30 Kodak batteries I was previously using given how much use I get from the new batteries I will certainly be buying more in the future. I would like to point out I switch these lights on for approx 4hrs every night and they are only now reaching the point where my older batteries were after only 5 days so I can only highly recommend these batteries.
I was a bit apprehensive at first having always used big brand batteries but these, for the cost, are fantastic.
We have a lot of Xmas lights that are battery powered outside the house and needed some batteries to power them and not wanting to spend a fortune and also not wanting to have to change the batteries every other night I thought I’d give these a go. The lights are all on 6 hour timers so came on at 5pm and off again at 11pm and they lasted for 7 nights. Bearing in mind that it’s winter and batteries don’t do well when it’s cold I was really impressed. They will now be a go to battery as the price and longevity are really impressive.
Used to get my copper topped batteries from the supermarket but saw a review on how good these are. Obviously they ain’t gonna last forever but I have timed lights that come on at 16.00 and go off at 22.00 and three in each light lasts a month. I think they’re tip top.

Ordered these mainly to power up all my son’s toys. They perform absolutely fine and are supposed to have a 5 year shelf life (how long they will last without being used) which I think is really good. They also last a good amount of time in devices when being used.
I like the quantity you get because one purchase will last you a long time (hopefully). They come in a custom cardboard packaging to try and help prevent damage in transit and reduce any potential battery leaks.
I have experienced one or 2 leak in transit but nothing really concerning. I think that number would be a lot higher if they wasn’t packaged so well.
