The product is great. All GoPro/SJCam universal attachments appear to work with it. Good adjustment capability. I used this while doing a water trekking activity and it held up fine. I suggest this instead of the brands’ own body mounts.

Good for use on cricket helmet. Doesn’t have any issue with it while batting and recording the game.
It should work even better for other helmets I believe as in cricket you need to do a lot of physical activities.

Great job for a reasonable price.
Just used this during a week of skiing (with GoPro Hero 4 in plastic housing) and it did a great job. Easy to stretch over a helmet, stable under high speeds / forces and decent range of adjustability (angle of tilt).
Do not use it without a ha
It is perfect for what I wanted it for, to sit on my riding hat to hold my Go Pro in place. The grippy coating on the inside is so good but would not be comfortable without a hat on.
Worked fine for me but was at quite a stretch over a helme
Used to record activities at an adventure festival, it worked fine, and was secure. The rubberised grip on the back kept it attached to the helmet well. Also fits well on an unhelmeted head.
Works just as well
As others have said, why buy the official GoPro head mount at 3 times the price when this one works just as well. It never feels like the GoPro is going to fall off of it, the build quality it excellent.

easy installation of the camera, it is quite comfortable to wear on the head, but you can still smell the rubber smell in the mounting tape. despite the passage of some time, the smell has remained – it is for people who are allergic to such a smell.
It works
Bought this for camera when skiing. The fixing mechanism is secure and does not move when being used. The main thing though is that it stretches over a ski helmet and the rubber grip is 100% secure, with a bit of effort stretching it to fit it just “stays”. Have never had a problem with it dislodging, it’s brilliant and great value
I bought this head mount for use with an Akaso EK7000 action camera, also available on amazon, to shoot point-of-view footage. For this purpose, it works pretty well. I had to adjust the straps on the mount and there isn’t a lot of wiggle room but it fits my head quite well.
Its other main benefit is that it doesn’t have an inbuilt ‘holder’ for any particular type of camera, just a standard screw so you can use whatever attachments you want that you already have (no other attachments are included) – to some this is a downside but in my case it meant I can adjust it to my heart’s content, or continue using it if I were to get a gopro in the future, or even use it with my phone if I had a suitable frame for it.
Very pleased with the purchase, can recommend it.
It is quite small in size so a bit of a squeeze onto my skull cap, however it as endured some windy days, high speed, holding my heavy sports camera, and for that price, you can’t fault it. Great bit of kit, I’ll probably get another to use without the helmet as well 🙂
Good product but not much adjustme
Good product, grips well to ski helmet and secures the go pro as well as the original gear. Only downside is there’s not much adjustment on the strap and found it to be an extremely tight fit.
I bought this for the Go Pro Hero7 Black. As one of the other reviewers said why would you pay Go Pro 25. When you can get this for 7. Comfortable, good range of adjustment and the seems to be stable enough on mount. Certainly once tightened it doesn’t move. My daughter was using it on her trampoline and the camera stayed where it was meant too.
Although description describes it to be compatible with GoPro, I would say it can be used with other makes as I have fixed a cheaper alternative to it.
In the past I bought a chest mount, but when running it sways side-to-side to much. on the head it is a lot more stable.
This product is just as good and robust as the top make. Why pay more??
I put this on my bike helmet and used cable ties to stop it slipping off. I do like this and for the price you cant go wrong…. might get a second one for another helmet.
After using the head strap now for about 3 months, yeah it works a treat and gives me more better footage than the chest mounted one for the activity I intended for the Go Pro hero session 5 camera. I was losing bits off the video but now being on top where I look the Go Pro films, just what I wanted.
Make it Fit a Bolle Visor Helme
I dismantled the supplied unit and used the materials to construct a webbing based harness to fit my Bolle Visor Helmet.
The non slip elastic is brilliant, the camara mount is brilliant, I now have a harness that is secure and allows access to my ventilation switch and still allows full operation of the visor.
A great quality product. Snug, secure and you’ll have complete confidence that it’s not going to fall off. For this price it’s an absolute bargain. The bands have non-slip, rubberised squiggly lines which offer brilliant grip to your head or baseball cap. The thumbscrew has the exact design and feel of official GoPro mount.
Amazon Basics are quickly becoming my favourite for all sorts of product. Quality and price are outstanding.

Easily adjustable and fits quite comfortably. I have quite a large head and was easily able to adjust this to even fit over a thick skiing hat. Would definitely recommend for this price, I cannot think of anything negative to say about it.
