Moths had made a meal of my wardrobe, but this spray has put a swift end to their feasting. It didn’t just halt their destruction; it offered a new shield for my clothes. The lingering scent is minimal, and there’s been no sign of staining. It’s reassuring to find a spray that’s immediate in action and offers lasting protection. It’s become an essential part of my household upkeep, guarding against future invasions.

Reviewing this quickly is difficult; we have sprayed around the house on a more precautionary basis, so results are hard to spot. But we like the fact that it is safe to use throughout the house, and we don’t have a chemical spray and aerosol, but only time will tell if we have no more moths at any stage. We are certainly not infested but don’t want to be. First impressions are good and we would not be worried about recommending anyone to try it.

This is marketed as a moth spray but thankfully it is very versatile and can be used on all sorts of bugs and scary little beasts! You get a bottle of the liquid with a twist cap, and then a separate trigger spray head.

To use, put the spray head in first. Make sure you give it a good shake before each use and change the spray head from “off” to the desired spray option. Then spray on the culprit, and finally breathe a sigh of relief.

This is both a kill-on-contact spray and a preventative/repellant. It’s described as being a “low odour proven formula” that “doesn’t stain”. I’d agree there doesn’t seem to be any nasty smell from it and we’ve been fine thus far spraying it in the house. They do recommend a patch test first to be sure so I’d probably do that if it’s something more delicate or likely to mark.

The brand says this should work with various flying and crawling insects. For instance, spiders, bed bugs, wasps nests outdoors, ant nests outdoors, cockroaches, fleas, flies, beetles, mites, moths. It can be used in various places and on various materials, including fabrics like sofas, clothes, beds and carpets, hard and soft furnishings, pet sleeping areas and bedding, wall or cement cracks and other non-porous surfaces, etc.

It does seem to do the trick quite well. We’ve used it for 8 legged monsters and strangely enough, each time it got them to move or drop and then they could be dealt with, so I can’t say if they were killed super quickly by the spray or not, but I’d say they would have. There was a huge moth going around the other day and that got a spray, then we never saw him again, so I take that as a good sign. I’m afraid I can’t comment on it being a repellant or dealing with a moth infestation as we’ve not needed to use it for that purpose in wardrobes. From my experience thus far with the spray, I’d say it’s definitely worth a try.

We’ve used insect sprays before but they’ve been in pressurised canisters that give off fumes and aren’t pleasant to use indoors at all, nor do they seem to do the job even with a large cloud of the stuff. I’m very happy with the Aviro spray because it’s so much easier, more effective and less off-putting to use in the house. I’ve not had to use so much either so I’m hoping it’ll last quite well.

All in all, an excellent spray that does the job of getting rid of creepies and monsters with ease.

This is a good size 500ml bottle of Moth repellent it arrives with a screw on cap and to use you need to remove the cap and peel off the seal on top of the bottle and replace the lid with the spray action attachment that arrives in the packet with the bottle it is very easy to use just simply spray in the area required it has a very mild scent that isn’t unpleasant when you spray the repellent it comes out in a fine mist and dries quickly and it has a locking safety system on the spray nozzle applicator I have had a lot of moths in lately due to leaving windows open in the evening on hot days and this spray seems to deter them and have recently had woollen carpets filled and although they are moth proof wanted to be extra careful good value for what you ge

I used this product inside two wardrobes and a bedroom, it was simple to operate, the smell was minimal and fortunately dissipated extremely quickly. It does not stain and the bottle contains enough for liberal application in the necessary areas. I have found this to be an excellent Moth killer product, I would say in all honesty having used this spray for a couple of weeks that it has been really effective, so I think I will carry on using as a preventer going forward.

Whilst one of the best ways to trap clothes moths is with pheromone traps, this spray is a useful thing to have in ones arsenal. It sprays easily and accurately and does not damage carpets or soft furnishings. There is an odour but its not unpleasant. Having used it I have seen a decrease in moths.

Living in an older property in the countryside, we have suffered from the reappearance of moths in our home for several years. Having tried one ‘cure’ after another (none of which were completely effective) we opted to test this product in our quest for a totally effective moth killer.
The spray bottle just needed the trigger/spray head fitted when it arrived and we found the actual spray was pleasant to use in the house, with very little noticeable odour. We were amazed by the immediate reduction in the appearance of moths…. the spray seems to work on contact. After just two days of spraying moth-infected rooms and areas, not a single moth has appeared since.
A truly effective moth-killing spray; simple, safe and easy to use…. highly recommended !!

It definitely works there’s no doubt about it. I was finding 6-8 moths on my bedroom carpet per day and as it was new I didn’t want it damaged so quickly ordered the spray. Kills on impact. Have had one or two since but have always found them dead so it works in the carpet. Have also sprayed around my closet room as I have an open wardrobe. Bought two of these as I got carpet in the living room and didn’t want that affected eithe

Effective moth killer spray which is also suitable on other small household insect and bugs about the home. It isnt cheap, but there is alot of it and it does the job intended so I am happy. Spray bottle can be adjusted to a direct spray or a mist, depending on your use. I mist it in my wardrobes to keep away clothes moths. So far so good, I would recommend.

Have had carpet moths for a long time and been unable to get rid. Have tried several sprays in the past as well as traps and the numbers have reduced but are still there. This is like various other sprays, it probably has the same ingredients too as it smells identical. I expect it will have some effect in helping to reduce the numbers but it is going to take a few more months to know how much effect it has had.

The spray gun itself is probably better than others I have tried, there are 2 settings, one for mist and one for squirt. Mist is for spreading around a large general area, the squirt is more for targeting specific places, such as along the edges of carpets.

It does have a chemical smell the same as other sprays of this type so it’s best to avoid the area for a while and have some ventilation, the smell does dissipate after maybe 45-60mins.

Dealing with clothes/carpet moths is a difficult task and it needs more than one attack method.

This spray definitely kills them on contact better than the powder so I’m hoping the claim that it kills moths at all life stages proves to be true.

I have 3 very large wool rugs and was horrified to find I had carpet moths, so I have used powder, that seemed to lessen them until I put sticky moth traps against the skirting boards, I can’t believe how many they have caught, but I need something to stop them at all stages of their life cycle and I’m banking on this working.

It’s so easy to use, The 500ml bottle comes sealed and you just take off the seal and attach the trigger spray and away you go. It goes further than powder and so far I’ve sprayed both sides of one rug, and there will be ample to do the other two at least 2 applications if not 3.

I can’t review on the long term effectiveness yet, but I’m happy with the results so far.

Works on contact. We had an invasion of moths from old bird food storage bins which was difficult to get on top of.
This was brilliant having tried numerous products beforehand

We had a minor moth infestation as they’d clearly made a nest in our log-burner wood pile. Few applications of this and no more of the pesky critters. Very pleased.

Product didn’t smell and was okay around animals (not fish), once dry quite safe
and not interesting to pets. Needed a couple of applications to get rid of the little
    darlings!

This moth-killing/moth repellent spray seems quite effective. However, I’d have preferred the spray to come out in a much finer mist to spread more evenly over the fabric it’s being applied to, as the way it spits out is somewhat blotchy and patchy. Maybe there’s a way to adjust the nozzle, or a different spray setting I’ve missed. Otherwise, happy with it.
