This is an excellent product for charging your car from a three pin socket.
Long cable helps if you park is a little way and the ability to change the Amp is helpful. We started at 13 A but it was tripping our circuit so we went to standard 10 A and very happy with it.

Overall, I’m satisfied with it, it does it’s job. I use 10A mode and nothing gets hot or even warm after 5-6 hours of charging. There are few modes, including 13A, however the instruction is actually warns you of using it as prolonged 13A charge can be dangerous for your home wires.
Buttons are touch sensitive, not physical, but it makes no big difference. Turns out, the charger can be set up for using on grounded and non-grounded grids, which can help someone’s decision of buying it.
I love that the control box is exactly 50mm tall, and it fits into my mailbox, so I can pull the unit through the door without any extra holes.
What could be better is that I’d like 10m EV cable instead of 8m, and a bit longer 3 pin side cable.

Visiting family members meant topping up the car’s charge to get home. I need 10kW boost costing up to 8.90 a time on a rapid charger. The Bokman portable charger allows me to boost the car’s charge whilst I am visiting and costs only 3.50, saving over 5 each visit, and pay for itself over six months.
The charger is extremely easy to use, just plug it into the car and a household socket. The charger comes with a useful bag to keep it tidy and a cloth to dry the cable with if it rains.
Please heed the manufacturer’s advice and avoid charging at 13A if possible. The charger gets very hot and could easily leave a scorch mark. I charge at 10A and the charger feels barely warm, at 10A you are charging at a rate of 9mph. Ten kilowatts take just over four hours.
All-in-all this was a very wise buy and I am completely satisfied and compared with the 254 the car manufacturer wanted it is value for money.

This is exactly what we needed. Nice package so can store easily. Good length of cable so it reaches from the plug to the car when parked in the driveway. It then does what it says on the tin, charges our hybrid from zero to full (31 miles) in about 4 hours for around 3. Not too shabby at all.

Ordered this product for my i8 and have not been disappointed! It arrived as described, personally had no issues with the packaging, and was very impressed.
Comes in a perfect storage bag, with microfibre cloth so if caught in the rain can dry before placing back in the back and fits perfectly within the boot space so can be taken with you easily.
The lights/ display are also perfect if like me you like to see exactly how much charge the car has taken and can quickly look to see if any issues have arose. (Which there have been none)
    Would recommend to anyone interested!

I chose the 8M cable due to experience of having an Ohme charger of 5m put into garage which was not quite long enough. This was a wise decision, you need to consider this when purchasing chargers for electric cars. It has a neat store soft box for the cable. (see my attached photo). The charger gives me about 12M per hour charge at home and when i stay with family. (about 3.7kw charge) This is the max that a plug in at power in the home will generally allow. Advice reading the small manual to set up the charge as it explains the menu and choices available.

Overall the pack is neat well presented and the cloth is a neat and helpful aid. I will update in 6 months time when it has been used for a period of time.

I rate this for its fit for purpose as a 5 star rating and would endorse buying this product.

Ordered this charger to use at home on my EV.
Works perfectly. Unlike previous chargers I’ve had there is very little by way of overheating and the lcd screen gives you a clear indication of the power supplied and the temperature of the unit. Would recommend

It is good, just a little confusing to change the charge power voltage. I know I may be new to it, however, I was expected to charge the car a little bit faster. It took almost 10 hours for a 15kw battery

I bought this EV charger for my Cupra Born because we like to visit rural places and can find it challenging to find charging points. This charger is so convenient because it is long enough to reach from our accomodation to the car and it charged the car quicker than I was expecting. I just plug it in overnight. It is easy to use and is good quality.

Not normally one to write reviews but thought I would in this case due to the price and quality of the item.
8 meter EV charger to wall socket. Arrived on time and in good packaging. The wire case it comes In is really handy to have somewhere to store it.

Charging via wall sock does take ages! But when you need to, this charger works well. Does not get hot (lead or transformer or wall plug) considering the amount of energy going through it. I can leave it charging my car all night and the next morning the plug is warm to touch, nothing different to your mobile charger but feels like a very safe product.

Only thing is I have not been able to change the amps on the charger to speed up or slow done the wattage going into the car. Mine is showing 8amps. After researching online 13As is really not recommended without out danger risks and by the looks of the charger it works out what setting to use based on what your houses wiring and current are like.

    Works in the rain,
    Defo would buy again.

Brilliant charger. Worth every penny and was no.1 best seller when I purchased it. Used it while on holiday, charging from the static caravan we stayed in. Mainly had it as it was good value for the options you get with it. It has delay timer, 6/8/10/13 amp charging, so ideal for statics as you can set it to slow charge on 6 amps (1.44kW) leaving enough power in the static for other appliances.

This charger is significantly better than many of the commercial chargers available in (for example) hotel and supermarket parking areas. For my car it charges at the rate of about 14 miles per hour. Can be left charging overnight, which yields over 100 miles. Easily portable, and the 8 metre cord is a worthwhile option. However it is still a back up for a wall mounted home installation.

Works as intended and appears to be good build quality. The display on the front is great as it displays current power consumption and then also the total KW/H used once it is finished charging, This makes it supper easy to calculate how much each charge is costing you.

I bought this charger to use to top up my new Renault Zoe at work. I need to top up around 15% at night at work and this charger seems to work really well.
The touch buttons on the front of the charger work with a slight delay so press it an wait.
It’s not the fastest charger in the work and I seem to get a steady 2.8kw charge which does take a few hours to get my 15% charge. But it works with no problems and it’s exactly what I need.
The cable seems to be very tough and well made and box with the display is very solid.
The included carry bag means I can keep it neat and tidy without taking up much space in my boot. Very happy with it so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good
