It's meant for lightweight use (I have a petrol driven strimmer too)
I bought this strimmer, Bosch call it ‘trimmer’, to provide a lightweight usable solution to support my much heavier and less convenient petrol strimmer/brush cutter. It does this very well for grass and light shrubbery. The battery lasts well and I’ve covered a fair range of cuts to test its capability. It’s a doddle to use around shrubs when cutting back grass and green weeds. I would have given it 5 stars for ease of use but lost the wire and had to manually re-feed it to get going. It’s been fine since.
I found assembly very easy and intuitive. The unit comes in three linked sections which simply need to be pushed together. There are clip holes to align it. A cross head screwdriver is required to secure the guard (screw).
I also registered for the three year warranty which, being a Bosch , I’m quietly confident I won’t need. Therefore, good value in my opinion.

Trims the edges
Not good to cut long grass, just to trim edged where mower cannot reach. Works well in that way. The battery isn’t working that great, it just works for half an hour then needs to recharge it again.
I have a large garden , I use this for edging and getting into awkward areas. The cord is incredibly strong, I`ve seen a few reviews saying that it breaks easily, this isn`t the case, it`s for strimming and edging grass and light weeds. That`s what it does, very well. Highly recommended.
Very lightweight and easy to use.
Follow the instructions to ensure handle is connected in right the right order. The instructions are at the back of the big manual.

Easy to use and assembly wasn't too awkward
Could have done with a small pamphlet in English to assemble the grass trimmer. As it was it was at the back of a thick manual. Other than that charged the battery overnight and then used for the first time yesterday. Very pleased as trimmer line did not break or need to be manually fed through which used to happen all the time with our previous grass trimmer.
