Unfortunately the guides and different heads etc. are left to rattle around in the box. Also worth noting the description doesn’t state it but it comes with an EU plug, which was disappointing considering the shaver was sold as UK spec. I contacted Amazon and they issued account credit so I could pick up an adaptor for it.
GOOD QUALITY SHAVER WITH PLENTY OF EXTRAS This shaver really would deserve 5 stars but for the fact that it arrives with a 2-pin plug for the charger – which is OK if you have a convenient shaver socket but for me firstly, I don’t have such a socket and, secondly, even if I did I don’t think that I would be charging the shaver in the bathroom. Otherwise it’s an excellent shaver that is much kinder to my face than any of the others that I’ve used.

I feel it could cut a bit closer and it really could use one of those attachments that works like a razor blade, my old beard trimmer had one and adds a lot. Came with wrong plug but amazon sorted promptly. Can’t really fault it, I’m pretty confident it won’t break or degrade easily. Came with a wet shave razor that I probably won’t use
These things. Aye, canny. Bit confused over the cutting range. You get 2 different guards, one does one size range and the other obviously does the other… Better than I thought with the cut. Pretty good battery too. Wouldn’t buy again, I’d get the cheaper one. 5000/3000 series and save the money. Paid about 50 for the 7000 series, the 3000 series was about 30. Definitely not worth the extra money.
Love i I bought this because I travel around. And my previous trimmer which is also Braun that only works at 100v-130v wouldn’t charge with a voltage transformer.
I haven’t used all the attachments, but works great. And the charger operates at 100v -240v so it works well for travellers. No worries on thr voltage now.
Smooth trimmer with great length settings Great trimmer for a mid length (to short) beard. Very smooth (doesn’t pull like a Wahl one I have) and the small increments of length are super handy, and easy to change quickly whilst trimming.
Good but not perfec I have used the product 2 or 3 times at the moment. The trimmer feels light but solid, does it job and has a lot of lengths to choose so quite accurate; the amount of tools provided is also great, with precision trimmer, a ‘clean shaving tool’ and a Gillette pro glide (which I have not used)
The only thing I noticed is the clean shaving tool for the trimmer is not the best. E.g. on the neck area, even after a first pass of the trimmer with no guard on, you need many passes to get an acceptable result – and even then it misses quite a few hairs.
Braun are the best! :) Love the quality. And minimal accessories, perfect for travel. It would be the ultimate kit if you had a one blade attachment instead of a wet shave blade and arm which add to travel weight. 🙂
Good but remember to adjust the blades when changing the covers. Good quality cut and great battery life, but remember to change the blades back to long setting when changing the blade covers, as my husband has accidentally taken a chunk out of his beard hy accident a couple of times.
I have mixed feelings about this clipper. The basic clipper is high quality, powerful and functional with good battery life and and fast charging, but the accessories are poor quality considering this is supposedly a top of the range unit. The ‘case’ is little more than a pencil case and completely useless for protecting the unit from damage. No nose clipper is provided. The device uses a low-voltage proprietary ‘safety’ charger which connects to a shaver socket and supports both 110v and 220v, which is good for travel, but why not also give the added convenience of USB charging? The unboxing experience is quite poor, bland cardboard and a minimal user guide that doesn’t cover all of the features of the unit.
Amazing trimmer!! Love the material quality and waterproof design. Also the fact that I can select between 40 different clipper numbers is still mind blowing to me. I can trim my beard, I cut my hair, and body hair with this thing including nose and around ears. It’s all I need.
So good you don't need to go back to the barbers Initially purchased in desperation early on in lockdown, I have now had several weeks use of this and really love it. And it has already paid for itself. Its beautifully made, as you would expect from this brand and the ergonomics are perfect. In particular, whilst the razor body is comfortable in my hands (male, size large), it is equally so for my wife to do the back of my hair – she has quite small hands. Great balance to use any way up. I like the ability to use in the shower, plus all the attachments are useful and regularly used. Only one attachment it lacks is for nasal hair. I have not had it run out of charge yet – I fully recharge it after a couple of haircuts which tend to be longer timing than at the barber; so for me battery life is good. Highly recommended with no downsides.
