Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThere are many sellers/brands for this exact product. The issue I have with it is that the marketing is unclear.

To save you some time here is what it actually supports.
    Input: (Up to) 2160p 60Hz

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSo I have had this now for well over a year, and only now it has gave its life to be retired, would stream daily on tiktok and twitch, this thing never failed me or had any tec issues, always worked from the day it arrived, until last night, I went to record a YouTube video to find it at almost 60c and I mean burning hot, I tried to change usb ports and lower the power on the pc to see if that was the issue but I believe its just time for the little fella! Not of course 4k output but I stream and upload at 1080p so perfect for me! Definitely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for what you pay!

I use this to put another computer on my desktop for installation etc. The picture quality and latency is absolutely fine for this purpose, as it would be for streaming a sub-HD video source, however don’t expect a crisp image similar to plugging your HDMI cable into a monitor, because that’s not what you get and you really shouldn’t expect that from such a low-cost device.

If you want to stream from a PC or modern console to twitch or such, you should probably look at a much more expensive device, however this will do the job at a fuzzy push. For other purposes such as I mentioned earlier, or in a DIY iKVM (eg tinypilot) solution though, it’s fantastic and incredible value for money.

I have been researching capture cards for a while, this one is not only cheaper than others on Amazon but works probably just as well.

Where lots of people are using ‘zoom’ or other video call software to connect with family and friends at this unprecedented time, this capture card has allowed me to simply plug my DSLR camera into my laptop and zoom automatically identifies it as a video input for HD zoom calls.

Furthermore, with this capture card I am now also able to plug my Xbox directly into my laptop and select this as a video feed for zoom as well, perfect for playing Jackbox games with friends over zoom.

This is my first capture card device I’ve used, yes I know there are more good quality and better cards out there, but I just want to learn how to capture my console gameplay. It’s easy to use, and probably good for first time users of a capture card.

I used it to connect my Panasonic 3CCD sensor camera via HDMI to a 2012 Sony Vaio VPCSE laptop. Worked instantly. Image is good, looks more like 720p and not 1080p but that’s OK since I need it for lives. Occasionally I get some flickering line for a split of a second or so and I haven’t any clue about the cause of it. The camera works fine though. If you want to use an older camcorder with decent quality as a web cam, then this will do the work. You can also record Playstation on your PC with this.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis product easily enables me to record from other devices. I use OBS to record and although the picture quality isn’t ‘high’ resolution it’s not bad and perfectly fine for most recordings.

I just want to clear something up in case other users experience this issue, but if you’re not getting input in OBS, shut the app and reopen it and see if that solves the problem. This is simply an OBS related issue but can easily be rectified with the steps above.

Picture quality is pretty good, especially for this price. Not as good as the Elgato Cam Link, but since it’s 1/5 the price, that’s hardly surprising!
Shame it seems to output coloured bars when there’s no video signal. I also found once or twice that it displayed coloured bars even when there was a signal, which was fixed by unplugging and plugging back in the HDMI cable.

Well made metal construction. Worked right out the box. I plugged it into my laptop and connected my Panasonic fz2500 4K camera and started OBS and after setup got a good picture and sound.
Great value for money came next day with prime, although I could have got this for less direct from China if I wanted to wait a month.

Golden Review Award: 88 From Our UsersWorks well after some initial fiddling to get it going. It does come with some instructions and to be fair they do mention what I’m about to say, but I didn’t find it very clear so I thought I’d put some instructions here in case it helps someone else solve the same problem I had.

I’m using it on Windows 10 and the audio was skipping every few seconds. This is because the device uses a sample rate of 48000Hz but by default Windows tries to use it at 44100Hz. Here’s how to change the settings:

1: Press Window key-R to open the Run command.
2: Type “control mmsys.cpl sounds” (without the quotes) then press enter.
    3: Click the “Recording” tab.
3: Double click on the device labelled “Digital Audio Interface – FHD Capture”.
    4: Click the “Advanced” tab.
5: In the “Default Format” section at the top of the window, click the drop-down and select “2 channel, 16 bit, 48000Hz (DVD Quality)”.
6: Press OK to close both windows.

You might need to restart the software that’s using the device or maybe the whole computer. After that it should work without skipping. At least it did for me.

I also discovered that moving it to a different USB port causes Windows to see it as a new device again so it resets back to the wrong setting and has to be changed again.
