I ordered this one due to my other one outside stopped working. It arrived fast but is not RGB like in the description. Not sure if I was sent the wrong one. This is more of an gold or warm colour light. No mention of colour change on the box. The app was simple to download. There is no option in the app either to change colour. Was going to order more but as this does not change colour it is of no use to me.

I have upgraded the star rating from 1 to 5 due to the outstanding customer service. The seller contacted me and offered an full refund. I have not accepted the refund but am very happy with their offer. It may be that the wrong product was picked and sent to me at the Amazon warehouse. Thank you for contacting me.
Well worth paying that bit extra for this more powerful light as you can dim it down if required. Used mainly inside a gazebo where the hottub is to get the perfect light/colour.
I’m really happy with this rgb outdoor floodlight! Simply plug it in and connect your phone to the app via Bluetooth. It’s really easy to pair up and automatically remembers you once you’ve used it once. It has various colours that can be manually chosen in the app, or you can set your own scenes by picking the perfect colour. Then dimming or brightening to suit the area you want. This product is fully dimmable and also reacts to music so if its playing on your phone the app will change the colours to go along with the music. It has plenty of cable length with a nice water resistant plug. So it’s easy to just plug in. I’ve had this installed behind my pool in the flower beds and has just been attached to a wooden post. With ip66 protection it’s safe to have in wet areas, and the possible uses are limitless. It’s perfect for buildings, fences, flowerbeds and any other place you could possible want an rgb light. You can also buy more and connect them together and the app will recognise those too. All round pretty cool light and really good value for the price thanks!
Great outdoor light very easy to install it literally just plugs in ! Had to add a longer lead but no big deal. Very bright with loads of colours to choose from . Easy to program with the app too!

It is also waterproof, with an IP66 rating it’s more durable and resistant to shock and vibration than traditional bulbs, making them ideal for outdoor use
Some potential drawbacks of it include:
It doesn’t have a physical switch itself, and when you can’t control it with your phone, you can only turn it off by unplugging it
It has a small size, about the same area as three phones, which makes it convenient to carry, but also results in a relatively small coverage area, unable to illuminate a large area
This light works great for me to place in specific locations in my room when shooting vlog videos. I can use it to set particular colour moods or behind me to create separation between me and the background.
The App control allows me to change light colour/intensity without moving away from the camera.

The light is a compact little unit but when switched on kicks out an impressive amount of sharp, clear light in all colours. The app used to control it, BRmesh, is very easy to setup and use, doesn’t require any kind of subscription or network connection and allows for a very intuitive user experience. After installing it I was able to add the light and start playing around with the various modes and colour options within minutes. Once you’ve setup the lights you can share control of them with up to 10 other devices, ideal for family usability. The lights once added can be renamed to make identification easier and you can group multiple lights together to synchronise them, very handy for larger setups like illuminating a whole garden/house. As it comes with a 3 pin plug already fitted it’s very easy to get it ready to go if you have sockets nearby, if not it can be hardwired into a junction box which is what I’ll be doing, I’m replacing a pre-existing white patio light for something a little more versatile and fun. This kind of light will be perfect for creating eye-catching environments to sit outside in the evening with or creating your own seasonal themed scenes with the DIY mode creator like Halloween or Christmas, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination as almost any colour can be created with the sliding wheel. There’s also the function to set the lights to flash along with music adding to the creativity element. You could also quite easily set this up indoors with the plug to create any sort of mood lighting for rooms in the house, it would be ideal for a children’s play room for example or for house parties when linked to music.
Overall I’m very impressed with Dusktec and I’m looking forward to seeing what other products they bring out to add to the 125 possible connected lights through the app!
For the price, this is a great little floodlight. The colour choice is quite wide, sound mode is ok (not something O use but it works) and the timer function is useful. App is easy to use and pretty stable. Would recommend for bringing a bit of colour and light into the garden!
Bought two of these with discount codes They are small but provide good light variations for localised feature lighting in gardens etc.First used to create scenes indoors for Halloween so the key test of water resistance if used outdoors is yet to happen. I like the possibilities of the app which is simple to use and combines multiple lights very well so far.Only Bluetooth so no account registration needed.With the price discount these seem reasonable value so far (without having tested the weather resistance).Will be used over the festive season to add some colour.
I have been waiting for this to turn up for ages as I had some issues with delivery from Amazon, but the wait was worth every minute. I have owned 4 of the DUSKTEC lamps before this, they are so great and that’s why I am so keen to get my hands on this outside light from them.
For most of us, wanting to go smart with the home lighting is one thing, but dealing with the fiddly setup and operation is another. The latter has been my take on many of the smart lighting system out there up until DUSKTEC.
It is difficult to describe in words on how superior the whole experience is with them, this is the second time I have been wowed by it. I am not talking about the functions, many other smart lights do the same. I am talking about the user experience.
I am lucky to have had experienced different setup and operation systems over the years, the logic behind the BRmesh APP and its counterparts is seriously in a different class. By that I feel I am still understating its charm.
It’s really one of those things that impressed me more than it meets the eye, this hasn’t changed a bit the second time round. Must try!
This newly added flood light is installed in my garden for landscape lighting, I can control any of them as long as I am close enough to the nearest one, which in fairness I can stand from quite some distant away. I thought this was only possible with the WiFi type, but so do these as the lights seem to be able to talk to one another.
Further, I have customised multiple scenes to include these lights under different settings and activate them with one click, which means I can have all sorts of lighting effects stored without having to temper with the settings each and every time. Not to mention, these lights are in perfect sync with any mode I throw at it.
Last but not least, I am loving the timing function the most. Once I have it activated on my lovely customised scene, it comes and goes off at the preset times by itself without me having to ever touch the app again.

This floodlight comes with a bag full of features and functions that you would expect from any smart lights, but what really impresses me is how well they are put together and can be used.
First of all, unlike the wifi type, the setup is so simple that it was done before I hardly got going, which is a good thing and deserves a praise. If you are concerned with privacy, you have little to be concerned. The same feeling is apparent with the rest of operations to the extend I thought the user manual is rather “unnecessary”.
The beauty does not end just there. I had concerns with the light having limited control range, but there was I being prejudice. The so called new Mesh connectivity seems to cast some “mysterious force” connecting each and every lamp, I literally can cast my spell on a distant lamp from miles away as long as I am in range to the closest one.
I particularly love how easy it is to operate multiple lamps, the app interface has made it so simple and efficient, which by my definition is what smart lights should be all about, “Convenience.” The ability to create customised scenes and set timers (auto repeat daily) work wonders for any outdoor application.
In short, this is much better than infrared controlled lamps in terms of functionality and controllability, at the same time, it beats wifi lamps in terms of simplicity and ease of control. You can’t have it all, but this one is close enough to everything I want with smart lights.
