Nice stand, should be easy to assemble, but really struggled to get the three wires around the pole to hang water bowls etc, surely they can make this easier to wrap around the pole, very frustrating.

Great item. We’ve purchased this product before and have been very satisfied.
Only four stars as they have changed the fittings on the upright. Took a while to figure out but just as sturdy and very pleased. Birds love them too.

This feeder looks good when up and running fully stocked.
I also bought the Gardman Squirrel Baffler (A perspex dome that fits halfway up the pole)
It has been great fun watching the squirrels try and fail to reach the goodies.
The only reason i have not given 5 stars is that the poles don’t seem to tighten enough so
you need to check every time you restock the feeder.

In general I found this a robust and stable feeding stand and it is attracting lots of birds. My main criticism is that the top and bottom of the two holders for seeds are too easily turned – as my local squirrel has proved – thus emptying the seed onto the ground!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis tower looks attractive in the garden, it is fun to use and it is a great investment for the money.
The tower is easy to put together. There are lots of different hooks and places to hang the food once assembled, but I needed someone to help me with the water and wire trays because you need strong hands to snap them into place.
The base spike of the tower needs pushing down into the ground and then packing with soil at the base to stop it leaning over, but is extremely sturdy once properly installed. The tower will withstand relatively strong winds.
It takes a little while for the birds to get confident about the feeder tower, but once they are familiar with the structure and see that it is safe, they use it with enthusiasm! I found that a few mealworms enticed the birds in, then they soon tried all the other foods I provided.
The structure is strong and sturdy once properly assembled. can take the weight of several wood pigeons, blackbirds, plus a flock of starlings! Then smaller birds such as robins and tits fly quickly in and out to visit the hanging feeders.
The metal bird feeders that come with this feeding tower are really good quality and these are definitely used by the birds in preference to the plastic feeders you can buy. The feeders are easy to fill and don’t degrade in the sun either. They are also good at keeping the food dry in the rain.
This was a great purchase and I would recommend the product to anyone interested in helping the birds in your garden.

This is a lovely, sturdy feede, much better than many others we looked at and it looks like it’s going to last a good few years.
Assembly took a while as the threaded stubs which join the lenghts of pole together are not finished very well and only want to screw into one half of the fitting, but a pair if grips sorted it out. Also, it’s not intuitive as to how to fit the twisted bars onto the main upright – don’t slide them onto the pole and wiggle them down -they will scratch. They fit by twisting them onto the pole at the position you want them.
All in all, very pleased with it.

I have always bought and trusted Gardman products. This one looks great and does the job. However, all of my previous Garman feeders are years old with no rust and thick poles which screw in well. This one is rusting already and I haven’t had it long at all. It didnt screw together easily in a couple of places, not enough thread and the metal tube is a lot thinner than my others. I put one in my Mum’s front garden for her to look at in lockdown, and have one in my front garden, so wanted another for my back window. I was about to buy another as a present , and although it looks lovely, the standard of the metal and the pole, along with rust on the joints and the arms which hold the feeders is really disappointing. Will have to see how long it lasts.

This replaced a similar station that had been out in all weathers for 8 years. Manufacturer appears to have appreciated the weak spots rust-wise and amended the design to provide poles with a screw fit. Excellent height adjustment. Design amended to ensure the top brackets always stay at 90 degrees to each other. Our only complaint is that the mesh feeding tray had a bent bracket which means the tray ‘droops’. Just spoils the look rather the function. Easily rectified.
Picture shows a few of our own additions.

4.0 out of 5 stars A repeat purchase. Still a robust product. Improvements made

Brilliant job, great value and have attracted a great variety of birds do far. Within an hour of having it out they were here. I bought an extra feeding hanger as there was a spare hook. I am topping it up twice a day, my garden is very popular! I love watching them. I assembled it myself, it was easy enough, and bought the patio base to put the pole into. It is very sturdy. We have great tits, coal tits, blue tits, a Robin, starlings, blackbirds, chaffinch, doves. We have so many birds I have had to buy a bird spotting guide. Highly recommend

It’s a bit on the flimsy side, and as somebody else noted, the fatball basket is too small for most fatballs without breaking them up, but I don’t suppose the birds will care.

I’ve got it standing in a 12kg parasol base. It should stay put, but we’ll see how it stands up to a winter in the Scottish highlands.

The bird feeder proved quite hard and fiddly to put together and whilst the pole itself felt reasonably sturdy, the feeders were quite hard to put together and felt lightweight and flimsy. I bought this for my Mum’s garden on Amazon and a ground spike was suggested at the same time to keep things more rigid. I bought this and it did not fit the pole. We had to adjust it to fit. I feel it’s quite expensive and the quality is not quite what you have paid for.

Bought this as all my squirrel proof bird feeders had been totally wrecked by squirrels and one day i had 4 baby rats sitting in one and helping themselves. this arrived earlier than expected. Easy to assemble and looks great. I hadn’t even added the top finials before a robin was sitting on top of the pole waiting for food! the birds LOVE it! and they’re easier to watch than on the bird table. i smeared the pole with sunflower oil to deter rats and squirrels but by day 4 a squirrel was sitting on the black ‘plate’ happily tucking into the fat balls. i then added a squirrel dome baffler but according to one review a squirrel ate through the fitting inside the baffler so i have smeared it with chilli oil. not prepared to poison/shoot them so hoping this works! watch this space. would recommend.

I bought 2 basis for this just in case and ended up using the heavy cement base that is for parasol or bird feeder and it is much more secure as long as you make sure you stand it on a level ground. I left one section of pole off as it was too tall using this base. I found using the other base I bought which was the four pronged feet type which presses into the ground, wasn’t quite as supportive of the pole and all its feeder attachments appearing a little top heavy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a really smart-looking cast metal bird feeder system. Assembly is fairly simple and straightforward – screw together three sections of metal pole, add on the two top pieces and then twist on the water dish, metal mesh dish feed holder and extra hook/perch. The pole height is slightly ‘adjustable’ as there is a small section of tubing that isn’t treated as part of the essential structure that can be added into the middle of the pole, if wished. The pole pushes into the ground via a shaped section at the end, and needs to be pushed quite deep into soil (approximately 16″ deep) in order to be properly stabilised. This didn’t work so well on our very heavy clay soil, as after the recent heatwave, this is pretty much baked solid – so we had to do some ground prep before we could get the feeding station installed.

The bird feeders themselves are quite nice, solidly and smartly finished in black-pained metal that looks as though these should survive if they get blown off the station. There are some quite rough metal edges on the connectors at the ends of the seed and nut feeders that need a bit of care in handling. I’m not altogether keen on the fact that one of the supplied feeders is a non-standard shape (this feeder is apparently designed to accommodate Gardman-brand premium seed treats), though it’s easy enough to home make mini fat and seed balls of the right size, or to cut bought ones into sections to fit them in.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIt’s been up on my 4th floor balcony for a few months now (I left out one section so as to restrict the height) and with the accompanying base, bought separately, it’s incredibly sturdy, looks pretty, and the birds love it. Well, they love the food.

My only complaint is with the two plastic feeders which came with it. The first problem I encountered was cutting myself when trying to clean them — the metal at the bottom is quite sharp. And then I discovered that moisture was collecting in between the plastic and the metal. Because seed remnants were also getting in there, it got moldy. Since you can’t take the plastic out to clean it, I had to throw them both out. Very poorly designed feeders.
