Having just purchased an induction hob I needed a way to continue making cona coffee, which has a glass base. Obviously this will not work on an induction hob. So this “travel” hob was just the thing to allow me to still make Cona coffee.
Sturdy and we’ll balance in levelling. I bought one previously, it was wabbly and it was not balance. It could be risky if the pots slipped and fell out when cooking. But I had not used it until a year later. It is too late for the return. It was my spare cooking hob.
I have taken this one out to examine it before it is too late.
It looks so nice and its ceremic and infrared cooking element should be easy to clean than the metal rings cookers.
I have not cooked on it yet, but it looks good and it must be very easy to use.
Everything about this is worth it and amazing. The heat is Woow. Performance is great. Portable for sure lightweight. Easy to use plug and get started. Great durability. Everything is good.
Ordered for using outside during the summer. Never had trying it before and so I can say it is very easy to use it. It has 2 size hobs and 5 heat settings. So you can choose according your needs. Very comfortabe device. You can cook same food like you doing it at home and I think it even cook faster. It is not too big, nice modern design and black colour. I think it is good for camping, garden or if you have some emergency at home to use it instead of regular kitchen stove. Recommend it.
I think this is an excellent performing, double hot plate packaged into a fairly small footprint that’s perfect for use both in the home and out.
The hot plate arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside a well-illustrated retail box. The cable length is approx. 80cm and it has a UK plug fitted.
The overall quality of the hot plate seems very good, its well-made, everything but the knobs is metal, it feels durable and sturdy, it has grippy rubber feet, and in general I’m quite pleased with the quality.
It’s very easy to use as there is only a single knob for each hob; you just plug it in, set your desired power level and away you go. It has a built-in thermostat to control the heat and a light for each hob to indicate when it’s turned on.
The hobs heat up incredibly quickly, I’m talking seconds so no waiting around with these. My old hot plate didn’t get hot enough to boil milk but its no problem with this one and the heat is very evenly distributed as well.
One of the hobs on our main cooker has failed so we’ve been using this instead and it works brilliantly. We even took it outside to use alongside our BBQ the one day and it came in really handy as there was a lot of food to cook.
Both the hobs and the surface around them is nice and smooth so it’s very easy to wipe clean but the hobs stay very hot for a fairly long time after you turn them off, so you need to leave it alone for 30+ minutes before cleaning it.
Overall, I think for around 45 I feel it represents good value for money for what you are getting. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!
What I really like about this double hob burner is that it’s good for camping, caravanning and is great as an additional two burners in the home kitchen.
For myself this makes a great addition to my small kitchen, which has almost every gadget one can think of so it is short of space a bit. As I have an induction hob there can be some minor issues such as pots and pans not working as well as they should, especially the plated aluminium ones that tend to lose some contact with the magnetic burnrs at times. Additionally, it means I can’t use copper or aluminium pots and pans unless they are plated with a ferous metal such as stainless steel or iron. Having these two ceramic burners in my kitchen means I can now use other pots and pans.
Obviously this product will not be as controllable as my induction hobs are as this product uses direct heat whereas the only heat my induction hob gets is from the hot pans so the hob does cool quickly afterwards.
Each burner has it’s own heat setting knob so they can be turned down to the lowest heat once the food starts to cook and only needs to be slowly simmered. The ceramic plates heat up very fastso one does have to pay attention when cooking with this.
As this product does not require hard wiring and can be used directly from a mains power socket it is convenient and can be used almost anywhere. Even when camping one can use a power converter that is attached to the car’s battery or cigarette lighter socket to power this cooking hob. One must be careful not to overload the circuit if using via a car’s power and converting to AC as this double hob burner will draw a lot of the car’s energy so it really shouldn’t be used with other appliances also plugged in.
Regardless of the reason you are reading this for, wether it be for campig/ caravanning or simply as a space saver in your kitchen I can say that this is a good quality product that works well. Given the cost this is also good value and can save money if used alongside a good airfryer and microwave rather than the cost of a good standalone cooker thus it is good value and I am recommending it.
This double ceramic hot plate is great for cooking outside or as an extra if you have loads of people over. It has 2 different size hobs.
It is very easy to use. All you have to do is plug it in and then turn the dial to get your desired temperature. There are 5 heat settings to choose from. The hob lights up when in use therefore it’s not so easy to hurt yourself accidentally.
I like the black colour. It is very aesthetically pleasing.

Love this plate. My job is gas powered and I have solar panels. Now I can cook with my frying pan using solar panels from this plate but still use the gas when I need it. Also great if I need extra space to cook from. Temperature is controlled from the two dials on the front. Heats up very quickly works very well. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t take up much room in the cupboard. Very happy with this.
