Replaced my W11 when it stopped charging after 4 years. Couldn’t reach customer service but figured after 4 years I could use a new watch.
So, good basic GPS watch with nice color touch screen. Screen is bright at 60% level. It is brighter and clearer than S62 and LX5. Each watch has pros and cons and the W12 was my final choice.
    Built in scorecard is convenient.
Bluetooth is a waste of battery life.
It just connects to app for stats and not for updates. Have to connect to computer for updates.
Shot distance is not automatic like Garmin.

I’ve had the watch for 3 months and I’ve used on every but 1 round. On that round I missed it and felt a bit lost!! It’s incredibly accurate, clear/bright screen, and easy to use. I love the slope adjustment and the heat map green’s. Simply… It does exactly what you want and is just as good as the more expensive watches out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to use and does exactly what you need!!!

Bought a GOLF BUDDY AIM W12 with expectations that I would get 2 rounds on a charge, green undulations would be displayed for my primary course and navigation would be seamless.

*So far I’ve played 2 rounds and both times I started with a 100% charge and ended below 50%. The rounds were 3H50m and 3H40M. Usually I play around 3 hours, which is relatively quick. Obviously I can not expect to get 2 rounds on a single charge, which was advertised (45 holes). Personally I don’t care since I’ll charge daily but some players do 36 holes a day occasionally. They won’t be able to do that.

*It was advertised that green undulations will show on “most courses”. IF THEY know that “most” of the 40k courses will be displayed then they should have a list AND a link for potential buyers to check if their courses will in fact be able to be displayed.

*The watch should seamlessly navigate from one hole to the next but on my preferred course when you leave the 12th green you go past the 10th tee box on your way to the 13th tee and the watch stays on the 10th hole. IT should go to the 13th especially when you’re standing on it. Also, I couldn’t get the “distance” feature to work but it’s only been 2 rounds.

Overall it’s a good gps watch.

Be sure you take the tutorial before you play.
Not at all complicated but if not familiar with the watch the prompts can be a little hard to read in bright sunlight.
Just read the instructions. Worth every penny!

I have always used Garmin Golf GPS Watches, and when my last one quit charging, I decided to try something different. I was especially interested in the slope feature and green undulation screen.

The watch setup is easy. I found the screens reasonably well engineered. I find the distances to be accurate. The green undulation screen is helpful and so much easier than a Green Book.

The only issue with the package was that the spare wrist band was missing some pieces.

I’m a little worried about the durability of the clips that hold the wrist strap on. They seem very fragile.

My only complaint is that the iPhone app only manages getting the courses you want on the phone. It does not collect info on your rounds. That’s a big miss. I don’t mind that it doesn’t get the courses directly to the watch because this extra step makes the watch gear up faster than Garmin.

I am concerned about battery life. They tout 11 hours which is BS. When I first got the watch, after a 4 hour round it wad down to 50%. After a couple of months, it in the low 20’s. Not good.

I enter my score on each hole and the number of putts. At the end of the round, it shows the score summary, but I haven’t found a way to see the putt count.

The user manual was ok, but they really need a native English speaker to tweak it. It does the job, but some of the word choices are awkward.

From what I saw on Amazon, a Garmin watch with slope and green undulation is a ton more expensive. So, if this watch holds up, it was a good choice.
