These are the most durable food caddy bags I’ve found. They don’t rip when you are putting them in and, as long as they are changed regularly, they will not split with the food waste in them

Since the earlier orders, something has changed, the bags are thinner, weaker and whilst previous purchases also had the propensity to tear at the perforations, you have to be extra careful now. I don’t think I will be considering buying again.

We’ve switched to a food collection from our local council. The indoor bin is slightly bigger than these bags, snug is a little exaggerated, stretched is a better word. However, they are very durable and we haven’t had any splits with one yet.

The box is very sturdy, I had a little difficulty in punching through the outlet to pull the bags through. So I took them out to start with as they are a snug fit. After taking out I found a sticker on the bag so I wouldn’t of been able to dispense them until this was removed. Great product though.

We now buy these rather than use the free ones from the council. This is because they fit better, and never burst on lifting them out of the caddy, as long as you cool down food before putting it in the bag. A hot tea bag will always melt a hole in any recycling bag.
We have the fairly common 2-caddy system; this entails a small caddy in the kitchen, and a larger one to put out on bin collection days. These bags actually will fit the larger caddy, but we use them in the smaller caddy as this allows us to knot the top of the bag on lifting out, then put several full ones into the larger caddy.
We’ve tried several brands and this is easily the best.

Nothing wrong with the item. But it was delivered to the wrong address. Luckily, the people it was delivered to bought it round to me.
    Not happy with delivery service.

The bags seem to be strong enough, I have tested them with hot food and a full bag of food, not rips or tears, I even checked them in an empty wheelie bin and they didn’t explode when they reached the bottom.. I think they are the real deal…

I have bought this product for quite a while now and I am never disappointed. I use it to get rid of any green waste , potato peelings and anything that the Council take in the green bins. It stops everything from smelling rotten in your kitchen. I have also got a little bin where the bag sits happily. These bags are completely and easily disposable as they literally melt under their own steam when left to themselves. Love the product.

The most cost-effective compostable bags I think. Although a bit smaller than expected, just means I need to throw it more frequently. In addition to that, no other negative aspects so far. Can be used for half an year if changing every 1-2 days.

These are pretty good, have just ordered a second box, and would order again.
Have it 4 not 5 because even if careful they have a tendency to rip when separating or fitting.

We use these for collecting cooking waste for composting.
Seems to be good value for money (much bigger pack than we’ve bought previously for less). Size is reasonable, could fit a chicken carcass in if you really wanted to!
Would say make sure to leave enough room to tie the handles.
We recently had a bag of potatoes spoil VERY quickly and these bags held a whole 2kg! Super impressed.

Cut out middle at the top of the 10L bag and it will fit an Addis 2.5L food caddy with enough hanging over the outside of the caddy for security.
Was fed up of no tie handle bags available to fit having wasted money on 6L bags with top opening not wide enough, as well as flimsy leaking bags. problem sorted!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersHave been using these bags for a few years now. They seem to last us a long time and the first box we got was perfect. We’re currently half-way through our second box and there is a noticeable difference in the quality. Even when taking extreme care getting a new bag out of the box, they have a split down the sides or rip at the seam, rendering them useless. I’d say we’re getting one good, usable bag out of three. I really like these bags so this change in quality is disappointing. Maybe they just had an issue with production last year (when I ordered and received box 2) or maybe it’s a permanent issue. I won’t really know until I order box 3. Box 1 lasted over 2 years, Box 2 will probably only just get us over the 12-month line. I do plan on ordering another box and giving the producers the benefit of the doubt.

These bags are exactly what I needed to line my kitchen caddy with . They are strong , a good size and most importantly kind to the planet. I will be buying again and would highly recommend.

We use the 6L to scoop out our two cat litter daily before putting in the main kitchen bin. Keeps the smell away until we empty the bin. Eco friendly. Practical.
We also buy the 10L version for our food bin. Robust enough. Easy to detach from the roll.
    Lasts a while.

After trying the many, these are and do as stated. Love the easy of the roll in a box, makes for easy access and tidy in the cupboard.

Never had a fail of leak or any faults, brilia

Good quality bags, but you have to be careful when tearing bags from the role as you might rip the next one. Also feels slightly smaller than regular 6L bags.

Good quality bags. Only fault is 6 litre bags only just fit over the rim of my 6 litre food waste bin.
You have to stretch them a little. Next size is 2ltre which would be way too big.

These compost bags are excellent quality, nicer than the ones we had previously. Although my partner accidentally threw out the dispenser box it comes in, it’s still easy to tear off each bag from the role. They’re nicely coloured, slightly darker than some, which hides away the contents inside that you don’t want to see. It’s never had any holes or tears. It fits perfectly in our small kitchen caddy we have on the worktop. Would recommend.

These are significantly cheaper than the packs in supermarkets. Got enough to last month’s. Regarding the users complaining it rips when you separate them, I’m really not sure how they are managing this. I yank them apart without too much caution, and I haven’t ripped even one. Just make sure you are pulling in the direction of the perfection, rather than yanking it up

Great recycling bags but be careful when you pull to cut the bags form perforations. Sometimes it rips away from the perforations ruining the bag. Pull slowly along the perforations and it’s fine.
