Not flexible but shatterproof
As a rule, you can’t go wrong with Helix!
It’s not flexible (so yoir kids won’t twist and bend it, which is great) but is shatterproof so won’t snap easily either. Perfect value!

Ordered this as I could not find my perfectly good plastic ruler I had had for years and use a lot. No sooner has the new one arrived than the old one turned up – typical Murphy’s Law. But now I have two and very happy.

Great product at great price. Quick delivery too, came in time for sons gcse maths exam after telling me he’d lost most of the stuff out of his current set.
5.0 out of 5 stars nice math set!
I bought this for school. I have not used it yet but it seems good quality and it is nice it comes with a tin to store everything. postage was fast and the price was really good. I have not tried it yet but it does seem really useful and good quality. it includes a bunch of different rulers, a protractor, a pencil, a sharpener, a rubber, and even stencils which is nice, and not bad for the price. would recommend and good value for the money.

This took me back
I haven’t bought a set like this for a long time, but did due to my starting to make cards and other crafts as well and wanting to be precise when measuring, creating shapes etc. it has so far come in very handy. I still love the tin that everything fits neatly into. So handy! I know where everything is when I need it. Great set I would repurchase should I need to.
Cheap and cheerful, however the ring that holds the pencil does not hold it very tightly. The needle end is quite short and doesn’t byte the paper well. When trying to draw particularly small circles its easy for the point to move. The maximum reach of this compass is a bit limited also. I was using this for Halloween costume design and was just able to achieve the design I wanted. At some point I will need a compass for larger circles or higher accuracy and will have to invest in a more professional compass. Great for a beginner not wanting to have a lot of initial outlay.

Bought this set as I needed a compass and this was good value for money. Brought back memories of having a very similar one at school 30odd (cough cough) years ago. Great little kit, everything you need for drawing and a cute retro ti
4.0 out of 5 stars It’s Ok.
It’s a nifty little set. I love the extending ruler. I know it’s a basic kit, but my compass doesn’t want to stay tightened. It might need some brute force…..Where’s the Rock when you need him?
This item appeared almost identical to a geometry set that my grandfather gave me 60 years ago. I treasured it through all my school days; it was useful for art, maths and technical drawing.
I loved it so much that I decided to buy this for my own grandson.
Being a gift, I didn’t remove the retail packaging, so I cannot comment on ‘sturdiness’, but it certainly appears good value.
I await the opinion of my grandson!
