The beach blanket did its job
Excellent product; I used it on the beach with nine big adults, and it held up fine; but, you will need to place something heavy on each corner to keep it level; the hook in the sand only accomplishes half the job. Overall though, it’s a great buy and one we think you’ll like using at the beach.
Great idea
Definitely a great buy. Pinned into the sand and spread our towels out, 3 large towels fitted easily with plenty of room between and at the edges. In and out of the water all day and hours later simply rolled up the damp towels, gave the ‘blanket’ a shake and off we went. No damp towels full of sand, tracking sand everywhere. Wish I’d had one for the past 17 years of family holidays.
Good but has a small fault.
Used this at the beach the other day along with one of our new tents. This mat is pretty big as you can see from the pictures. Material is strong, and allows easy remove of sand by shaking it. The biggest downside for me was the plastic studs. They’re too light, especially on a day when it’s windy. The wind kept lifting the mat and the studs popped out way too easily. We did end up putting weight over the mat to stop this from happening. But I reckon there should’ve been two stud point for the middle edges which definitely wouldn’t helped and the studs to be not made of plastic or at least heavier. Other than that the mat itself we’re pleased with and will continue to use.
Large but thin so easy to take the beach
I bought two of these after reading reviews so glad I did especially at the price as well I wanted something for the beach but I’m now thinking they will save my carpet for when my young niece comes around & wants to do some painting
More canvas like, than cotton but still grea
Our experience with this product has been fantastic! With over 8 square meters of space, the blanket is incredibly spacious and accommodates our entire family for fun outings on the beach or picnics in the park.
If you’re anticipating a plush, fuzzy texture, this blanket may disappoint you. The material feels more like canvas parachute, but don’t let that discourage you! Cleaning it is a breeze, and since the material doesn’t have a large contact surface, dirt and water don’t pose a major issue. The included floor hooks are an excellent addition to the blanket, making it convenient to secure. We appreciate how everything can be stored in an easy-to-carry lash bag, making it a portable and practical option.
Having only used the blanket once during a picnic in the park, it proved useful for a waterproof pad, and we topped it off with a blanket for extra comfort. The beach is where we plan to give it a more thorough test drive sand and seawater alike. But due to the material i think this will shrug sand of with ease.
Overall, this substantial and reasonably priced blanket is highly recommended for your summer vacation. The craftsmanship and materials are top-notch.
Large but thin blanke
This is a really large beach towel/blanket.
I’d say it would fit maybe 3-5 people depending if adults or children.
It is quite thin so the stakes they have provided, you will definitely need to use them to keep it from blowing away, but it does the job of keeping you and your belongings off the sand (or grass!)
Great size, very lightweigh
Ideal waterproof blanket sheet.
This is perfect for when we go down to our local beach, this way we can stake it into the sand and then put out towels on top, that way our towels can stay sand free. Also this would be great if you get caught short on the beach with the weather, we all know how quick the weather can change, everyone can shelter underneath it to keep dry.
Large size, but can be folded down quite small so it’s not going to take up hardly any space in a bag and lightweight. Could be used as a cover for anything really to keep it protected and dry. Even picnic when the ground could be a bit damp, use this as a ground sheet and then lay blanket on the top.

A large beach style blanket which can be used any situation for ground cover. The kit includes the blanket, 4 x ground pegs, 1 x carabiner for carrying and a storage pouch. The tough polyester material is durable and water proof so protected against the rain or other moisture. Overall a well priced durable, waterproof and large functional beach blanket cover.
Good size and convenient to have
275×300 is a very convenient size for a layer of protection isolation from ground or sand.
Can use it on its own or as an underlayer underneath a soft picnic plaid or beach towels.
It comes with a bag which is a good thing and plastic stakes to fix corners to the ground and a carabiner
– the carabiner is only good for maybe attaching the bag to some clip… the carabiner is small and weak
– the plastic stakes are not that big but may help somewhat
– the actual blanket is very thin, do not expect padding or softness.
Not full 5 stars due to the blanket being very thin, but still 4 stars because it is a lot of material (size) the bag is same material but handy and it does cover a large area
It's big enough for 4-5 people ..
In terms of size, it does what it says, however, you will need to drive those stakes in the sand as this is very thin and will be picked up by any gust of wind immediately, it’s plastic so obviously it’s going to dry out quickly.
All in all, it does what it says for a fraction of the cost of several towels.
I ordered this because it looked like a nice, large size that also folds small enough to pack into luggage if we wanted to take it on a beach holiday. It is big enough to hold 3 — 4 towels, and the picnic basket or for a couple of towels and our dog.
This is perfect for keeping the towels clean while sunbathing on the beach. It is thin and lightweight, but water resistant as well, so moisture from the sand does not affect the towels at all. It also comes with stakes for keeping the blanket secured in place.
Not only is this blanket good for use on the beach, but it would also make a good ground cover for under a tent while camping. It is large enough that it not only sits under the tent, but leaves enough blanket in the front to keep the inside of the tent clean. I like that, because I can take my dirty boots off at the door of the tent, so the inside of the tent stays clean.
Overall, I think this is a very good beach blanket. It is decent quality, and I love the fact that it folds away to a nice small size.
Massive waterproof blanket!
This blanket is huge! We spread it out in the lounge on the first day and had to keep it partly folded, it’s that big! It folds down really small though, so you can just put it in your backpack and then have it handy for lots of people to sit on. I have also used it to cover a dirty picnic table in the park, so we could have our lunch. It can then just be chucked in the washing machine afterwards. It’s very thin and lightweight, it won’t give you any protection from the cold ground, but in the summer you don’t need that – you just want something to protect you from the wet (or give you a clean surface to eat on!), and this mat does that!
I like the plastic stakes that come with it too – they mean you can hold it down on the ground easily without it blowing away.
At 13.99, it’s a good price for such a big mat, and I would recommend.
