We use Distilled water and the ice is amazing it makes a lot of ice to the point where we had to turn it off cause we ran out of space in the freezer. We have a family of 5
Great little machine
This little thing is just great. Ice cubes aren’t huge but it’s good enough. Don’t hesitate to buy. One thing you must do is after delivery to let it rest for 24hrs (do not plug in). This is a must!
5.0 out of 5 stars No more supermarket bags of Ice
Best product Ive bought this year.. Although they are not solid cubes (bullet style) They do the job. No more dashing to the supermarket when its hot to find out theyve sold out… If youre an ice user in drinks all year round. This is ideal.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ice make
First machine arrived and was faulty (made a loud banging noise). Contacted the seller directly, who responded quickly and sent a replacement machine within a couple of days. New one works well. Excellent service from the seller.
4.0 out of 5 stars Smells a bit.
Well I’ve just plugged in and go, it’s quite noisy but if it’s in another room it’s fine. Not sure how to change the size of the cube’s but otherwise it’s a god piece of kit (if you can work it out). You should empty the cubes into a bag and properly freeze them otherwise they’ll just dissolve in the makr (or use them directly from the machine). It’s pretty quick and just sounds like a fan. Lots of cleaning to be done and a dummy run is needed because initially it does smell a bit. I’m not that content with it tbh because it’s very complicated, for a machine that should be plug in and go, it’s bizarre and is not as straight forward (as it should be). If I’m honest I’d have paid more for any ice maker that was more effective and simpler to use than this one as 89.99 is expensive in my book. Btw you cannot change the cube size and they are very small. I tried to measure one and post it but it dissolved but if I was to give an educated guess, I’d say they are around 1″ long and 2cm in diameter. Personally I’d prefer them larger. Overall it’s a tidy piece of kit if you’re tired of buying bags of ice (as I am) but it’s going to take some time for it to pay for itself. I dread to think what happens when the refrigeratoraton gas runs it’s course. *Update* it’s not as complicated as first thought, it’s literally a press twice and go (when cleaned and water levels are sufficient), relatively simple when you get used to it. Tbh I’m only concerned with the size of the cube’s, they are very small and don’t last long but overall I’m satisfied to a point, room for improvement.
5.0 out of 5 stars Kitchen Ice make
My kitchen is small and it fitted in nicely. Great black with silver band, went well with my white kitchen. Easy to use and great instructions. I’m very pleased with it. Thankyou. X
Good machine
I bought this as a replacement for my old ice maker that gave up. Although this is good and definitely does the Job, it doesn’t hold as much as my previous one
But definitely worth buying
5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good
Don’t make your mind up until you have used it for 3 or 4 cycles. Makes great ice cubes at a reasonable rate. Some complaints that the ice melts quickly, which is probably down to the cubes not being solid, easily fixed though.drink faster lol
5.0 out of 5 stars Great on demand ice
First used one when while on holiday in Derbyshire. It was great to have ice available whenever I wanted a drink, so I just had to buy one for my house and opted for the same model. Ice is ready is as little as 5 minutes and is a great shape to use. Not a day has gone buy without using this.
Very Good Ice 'Bullet' Make
This is a very convenient ice making machine, which could prove to be invaluable if you forget to stock up on ice cubes for a last minute party, or if you simply don’t have much room remaining within the ice compartment of your refrigerator.
Ice make
Love this machine, use it every day it doesn’t dispense if it’s too cold in its location, but who wants ice when it’s freezing outside. Had an issue with machine but got a replacement sent imm. Would recommend this machine. Happy ice making
After the machine failed to work the seller quick replaced it and I received the new one in 3 working days
Thank you
Hopefully this one will work for longer time
here we go nice compact unit and easy to use infact i would say idiot proof put water in turn on and wait for ice couldnt be more simple , makes ice cubes every 6 mins or so ice nicely formed and good size i filled my 2.3 ltr ice bucket in 2 hours and because i was experimenting i left the ice in the bucket to see how long it stayed frozen -12 hours and counting , i was expecting the first few lots of ice to be misformed or small but not here they were perfect from the first lot , you can use filtered water if you want but i just used tap water , so far so good and right now am very happy with this little gadge
I bought this on prime day after growing increasingly frustrated at buying bags of ice and throwing 60-75% away due to it being crushed – not ideal for Gin and tonics!
First issue was the way it was packaged – great from the manufacturer – secure box with decent shock absorbent material. That box was then put on it’s side into an outer Amazon box. Despite being clearly marked for this way up. The Amazon box was then placed with it’s own this way up marking so th nice maker was on it’s side! Greta for a refrigerant device – NOT.
I let the device settle for 24hrs before switching on. As per the manufacturers advice it took a couple of run throughs to builds up the size of the ice but it produces decent quantities, quickly and reliably. I just pout them in a bucket in the freezer. The cubes a smaller than you buy from shops, but regular size and shape.
Initial impressions are very good!
