iMedic – Memory Foam Seat Cushion for Office Chair, Posture

I’ve always suffered on long drives with numbness and pain in my legs, any journey longer than an hour was a literal pain in the backside no mater what car I was in. This cushion has worked a treat, recently completing a 1000+ miles of driving in a week with little discomfort. Initially it increases your height quite a bit (im 6ft4″) but soon squashes down to a comfortable height so don’t be put off by the height.

Don’t listen to the person complaining that this went flat, I expect that they are average height and weight for a whale. I weigh about 85KG and I sit on this thing for up to 16 hours a day as I work from home and I’m a bit of a nerd too, so I often spend my evenings at my desk after work, playing games etc so I spend waay too much time in my chair at my desk.

I bought a 350 gaming chair as it actually had more ergonomic options than most of the office chairs for the same price and has integrated adjustable lumbar, tilt and recline, and 4d Armrests. It’s one of the premium gaming chairs and has been great. However, the one option it doesn’t have is to tilt the sitting part forward so I bought this. It makes my very expensive chair so much more comfortable. Sometimes I take it off or on to change my position, but I usually end up with it on much more, as it’s more comfortable on the butt and my back and legs end up aching less. Additionally, I like to sit crossed legged on my chair quite a lot, and this raises you up just the right amount in that sitting crossed legged is also more comfortable.

I’ve used this far more than the average user I think, and in 3 month’s worth of long days every single day, the memory foam is still as good as new. After sitting on it and letting it warm up, getting up off it shows the outline of your butt where it’s moulded to you, and after a couple of minutes returns back to it’s original shape. You know that handprint that is typical of memory foam pictures to indicate decent memory foam? That’s what happens with this cushion, except it’s not your hand that leaves a print, but your backside.

TLDR: Highly recommended, well worth the money and almost definitely will improve your chair and posture no matter how good a chair you already have and how good your posture currently is.
