Great shears
This product is great for ease of cutting. It makes trimming bushes so much simple , and this is down to the quality of the blades. They are comfortable to use. Thoroughly recommend .
Very personal customer service
My fiskars hand shears had given up so I purchased these Kimura shears as the reviews were very good. Had a problem with my item and arranged to return them. The support and customer service I received in doing do was 5 star, very personal and keen to ensure I was satisfied customer. A replacement Kimura item arrived and it is high quality, very sharp, sturdy but also lightweigh. This can be used in more ways than the original purchase. Not sharp.
Not very sharp, tore the grass rather than cut it.
On the plus side comfortable to use.
I must say the seller was very good in sorting this out, they sent a replacement set of shears which work amazingly well.

Great product as described
When I first opened the box I was a little surprised at the look of the product, but when I started using them I was very impressed, they do the job really well, I am very happy with my purchase.
Heavier than I though
Very good shears but could be lighter, handles are a bit longer than I would have liked but they do the job cutting lawn edges and pruning shrubs and hedges.
They're are nice and light and very sharp...
Only used once so far…they are perfect…exactly what I wanted..time will tell the rest.. they appear and feel to be well made and I would expect they will last a couple years at the very least.
Amazing grass shears. Cuts very well and I usually use these for using to tidy the grass patch at the end of the gardening. Leaves professional looking cut and very handy to carry around with me and locks easily
Tidy garden made easy
From unkempt patches to neatly trimmed edges, these shears are up to the task. Every clip is precise, a testament to the sharpness of the blades. Comfortable grip, lightweight design, and effortless rotation make tending to my garden a joy rather than a chore. They glide smoothly, making each cut clean and neat.
Not very ergonomic
Needed a new pair after buying crap, these are nice and sharp, not overly large but they are straight so can be slightly awkward to use as they are not angled or wishbone like.
They work really well.
I’ll not lie, at first I was slightly underwhelmed with the build quality, but that soon passed.
At first the blade felt a little weak and the hinge could be a little better … but then I realised if they had reinforced both those things this would be too heavy to use single handed. In retrospect this is a good balance between weight and rigidity. There’s no denying these work well. They do and from the box they’re sharp. They do cut down the time you spend trimming bushes. I’m more of a petrol powered garden tool user and definitely no topiar but these are really handy when you’ve tackled the majority of the job with a larger tool and just want to square up a hedge.
So far excelle
I nearly took a star off these shears as the exposed spring design on them has caused me repeated problems on other products , especially secateurs. However that seemed harsh given they have performed well in the short time I’ve been using them. They are light, sharp and so far excellent. My reservation is that with wear the spring will catapult into the undergrowth never to be seen again like many others before it. If so I’ll be back.
Precision Tool
A very handy pair of grass shears that are ideal for more intricate lawn edging. The shears are light and easy to manoeuvre with a good sharp precise cut. The blades are very sharp indeed and so thankfully there is an important safety catch to prevent mishaps. The shears store nicely

Rotating Grass Shears
These rotating grass shears are extremely versatile. To begin cutting you need to squeeze the two parts of the handle together. This then disengages the locking mechanism. Likewise to lock the shears after squeezing the handles you press the locking bolt from left to right. The blades can be rotated allowing you to choose your cutting angle. I find this style of grass shears allows for precise cutting of my lawns edges.
My only negative is the price is a little on the high side, currently 24.99. This is the same price as well know branded shears.
Sharp but…
Whilst I was generally impressed with the sharpness of the blades, I was less impressed with the quality of the plastic grips and the locking catch. I’m unsure as to longevity of the plastic parts as they seem a little thin for the use they will be put to but then, they’re far from being the most expensive so one can’t really complain. The locking catch (locks the blades closed for safety) on my pair is a real pain as it jams locked and, when you do get it open, it then refuses to lock again without a lot of attempts.
As they operate as expected and operate well, I would still give 4 stars but potential buyers should be aware of my views.
Comfortable to use and very sharp
These are incredibly sharp and very easy to use.
They lock for safety when not in use.
Fits my hand nicely with a smooth and comfortable cutting action.

Get right up to edges
Get right into those places the mower can’t. The blades can be swivelled for side or horizontal cut, making them quite functional for edging lawns. I even was able to trim my box privet with them.
They are locked until handle squeezed. To lock press the button when putting away.
They are snips and not shears.
One negative for me – using is like a hand exerciser and I had wrist pains after. Luckily, though, means I can leave the work to the wife. 😉
Grass trimme
I had a pair of these type shears that unfortunately had seized up solid in the shed, so when I saw these up for review I ordered them.
They cut great and you can swivel the blades from horizontal to vertical and several angles in between.
The plastic components don’t feel particularly strong, so not sure on the longevity of this tool.
The locking mechanism isn’t the best or !ost user friendly it is a silver button on the side and it can be a bit hit and miss that it catches.
I also found the hand grip to be a little uncomfortable to use after a long session of cutting. My previous one had moulded finger grooves which was more comfortable than this that is just plain flat plastic.
Versatile but smallish
These Kimura Grass Shears have one feature I wasn’t expecting – the handle can rotate through 360 degrees making them very handy for detailing etc. The shears arrive blister packed/card mounted.
The build quality is average, my shears were totally dry and benefitted from some spray oil for both the blades and mechanism, and, as result, are much smoother in operation.
The handles are easy enough to grip and once lubricated the scissor action is reasonably smooth. The blades are quite sharp and certainly up to the job of cutting grass and twigs etc. There’s a built in safety catch which although adequate could be a bit more positive in its action. The overall size is a bit smaller than I was expecting though.
These are decent enough small grass shears which can be used for some other things too. I do think at just under 25 at the time of review that puts these shears head to head with some big brands in a crowded marketplace. Overall, a handy set of grass shears that will be adequate for most users.
