Great, good quality, seems durable and more robust than the standard hose that comes with the pressure washer.
And doesn’t kink as much as people make out. Bring the hose out straight, let the water run through without power (this then helps extend the life of your pressure washer by not starving the motor of water) and away you go.
Of course it may kink in parts but what do you expect when it’s stored in a similar way
Useful extensio
This makes car cleaning so much easier. There’s no need to move the pressure washer and everything is much more convenient. Attaches easily to the existing hose and trigger. After unwinding I’ve found no problem with coiling as others have done. Would recommend
Quality Hose
A very well made hose, connectors click in and release perfectly, perhaps a fraction stiff to fit to gun. As for coiling up I did like others here, placed in hot water for 30mins then unravelled and left in garden for few hours. Hose now no longer coils.
A great additio
A really great addition to my Karcher K2 power washer. Always found the supplied hose a bit short and ended up dragging the washer, hose and power cable around when washing the car etc. Now I can just leave the power washer out of the way and clean away with just the hose. Well constructed. Is thicker than the supplied K2 hose but really easy to install.
Needed to extend my K4 washer hose to make it easier to use round the patio and garden and on cars. This is perfect; easy to clip on when needed.
Others have commented on it being “looped” because of the tight packaging. I put mine straight out of the box into a sink of hot tap water for 15 minutes to soften it; then undid the clips and stretched it out in the garden to dry. Now there are no kinks or tendency to roll up at all.
Definitely a good investme
After completing my research without any hesitation I bought this extension. I’m glad I did as time you need to spend cleaning a full size SUV has been shortened in half. Thanks to this hose I don’t have to move the machine around anymore. Branded product means quality.
Got this for my Karcher 3.99
I got this hose for my Karcher and never knew it had a male female connection as I was wondering how it works on my old Karcher 3.99, but then I realize it came apart as my Karcher is a old one I think it was the first one that came out so the hose fits it and you can take the hose off making it a lot easier to store and keep in good nick I would Recommend this seller as their is Germany not China.
Quick released the release button, still works
The plastic quick release handle/clip broke off the second use, although you just have to pull the pin out to release the cable.
Would recommend, hopefully my faulty pipe/mechanisms is a one off!
Useful accessory
Having just bought a Karcher pressure washer to replace an old one, I soon realised that an extension pressure hose would stop me having to constantly reposition the unit as I moved forward. The Karcher extension hose, although not cheap, allows for an easy attachment to the existing hose and is actually more substantial and less liable to twist upon itself. Very pleased and made the slab cleaning job much easier.

I have a 4 year old K2 so I assumed it would work. However this extension hose will only work with Karcher washers that have ‘quick connect’ high pressure hoses, so check before ordering if you are buying this for an existing washer.
I later brought a new K4 washer, so I could use this hose. It is very well made, however the hose has a ‘memory’ and wants to stay tightly coiled. When you try and pull it straight it drags the washer along the ground which is annoying. If anyone has any hints or tips on how to stop it coiling up please reply to this review.

Early on to comment fully however a lot less tangling than the hose that-came with my old K2.
You can use this with both old Screwfix dispenser and the more modern quick connect dispenser. Just look for a YouTube vid of a chap taking the large female part off the hose ( unscrew it) and rescues to your old fashioned screw fit dispenser or leave as delivered if you’ve a modern post K2seriesdispenser.
Best extension by far & so simple to use
Bought as the standard 6 meter not quite long enough & end up moving my pressure washer multiple times.
Item came well packed and in good time as expected.
Once unpacked simply plug into the pressure washer and original hose and good to go. Oddly enough this extender hose looks better quality than the original karcher 6 meter hose.
In use no difference to pressure washer but the benefit of double the distance as now have 12 meters and much easier to use when cleaning the car.
Plus as we are now into autumn and winter weather will make cleaning off the patio much easier too
the curl was not a problem
Its May and a bit sunny – laid the extension out and put a weight on each end – straightened in 2 hours and no issues

Just what every Karcher car cleaning fanatic needs. This is a ‘game changer’ for my car cleaning routine… I no longer need to move my machine whilst cleaning two cars, no tangled hoses and wires!!
# Tip # Like other reviews, putting the hose in a bucket of hot water and then stretching it out works a treat. The coiling up issue doesn’t happen.

Extend the range of the power washer.
Used this extension to clean moss from the roof of my house. Easily plugged in to the standard hose and opens up a whole range of other uses for the power washer, including cleaning the whole of my 110 foot long drive way. Worth the money.
It's a necessity
A must-have for anything other than cleaning a small patio. Cleaning even the smallest car with a 6 metre hose will require moving the washer around at least 3 times to get all angles! This extension takes that need out of the equation.Once it’s clipped on, it’s a bit tricky to remove.
When I picked up the Amazon box I thought they must have put something different in it by mistake. They [obviously 🙂 ] hadn’t but it is surprisingly light. The next issue is the coiling problem many have reported. I stuck it in a sink full of hot water and left it for a few minutes. When I took it outside and unrolled it it lay flat enough. A slight curl at the ends but straight for all intents and purposes.
I have no doubt it’ll be effective when I use it in anger. It was a pain having to keep moving my K4, the water hose and the extension lead. This will make that job required less frequently. My outside tap and water butts are in the middle of my ‘plot’ so I can now do jobs at the back and front without having to move anything.
K2 pressure washer extension hose.
This extension hose fits the 2017 K2 pressure washer and means i can wash the car all round without lugging the pressure washer, soap bottle, hose and lead about. It has so far resisted all attempts to straighten but is starting to uncoil more readily the more it is used.

For older machines (mine is a K2.900) you may think it does not fit when you first take it out of the box as there are no instructions for fitting. I found a useful video on YouTube that told me how to fit it, otherwise it would have been a return to Amazon. You have to remove the large end of the supplied hose which is on a thread (large adjustable wrench and vice or plyers may be needed if its on tight) this screws onto the pressure washer its self once you have unscrewed the existing hose. The washer then accepts the new hose snap fitting end and the other threaded end takes the old hose. You will then have a good quality very useful extension to hose fitted giving6M extra reach.
Great for the job and it's just what I need
Great for the job and it’s just what I need. Annoying thing is the twisted/curled up line… takes a bit of effort messing about to try to straighten it up to reach the required extension. It’s clear that the material for the pressure hose has to be that way and not a flexi hose but it’s just a bit annoying
First of all let me clarify how to fit the extension.There is a guy on you tube telling you to take the extension to bits etc.That is rubbish.All you do is first remove the gun from your existing hose by pulling the little yellow clip back to release it.Then put the end of the hose that you have taken out of the gun into the large black socket on the extension hose.Then put the other end of the extension hose into the gun and lock in place with the yellow clip.Two minute job.
The hose works perfectly with no loss of pressure, the only bind being the coiling of the extension.Its not that big a deal but slightly annoying.I have stretched it across the garage, trapping it at each end to keep it straight to see if it will ease the coiling .Don’t let that put you off it is still a good buy.

The overall size is perfect for use with wet hand as the hose is large than the standard hose provided as shown in the images attached this makes gripping easy when disconnecting.
Overall this is a great addition to any Krcher K pressure washer.
In addition the k2 requires you to remove the quick connect and attach it to the pressure washer as shown in the images

When I tried to fit the extension hose to my Karcher K2 it would not fit as the connections were not the same. There were no instructions in the box so I was prepared to send it back. However I googled the problem and found a video of how to change the fittings so that it would fit. It basically means unscrew the black end which then screws on the K2 then fit the other end (brass fitting) into it. Then screw the original hose onto the threaded end. It now works fine.
If you are planning to do a lot of power washing over large areas, you will probably end up wanting one of these. My K4 washer comes with a 6m hose and without this extension I am constantly dragging the machine, extension leads and hoses around as I clean. Adding this to your set up gives you a 12m radius for cleaning and this is much easier all round. It has the Karcher snap on connections, so do not purchase this hose if your washer has screw on fittings. As is usual with Karcher equipment, it is very good quality and very well made. This unfortunately leads to my only issues with it. It is very rigid for a flexible hose and the snap on connectors do not swivel. After a while you will notice that the hose is constantly pushing against the gun trying to move your hand in some other direction. As you use it the hose gets twisted and the snap fit connection does not swivel to remove the kinks, because the hose is so rigid it tries to straighten itself which puts pressure on the gun handle. I find myself stopping every half hour or so to straighten out the hose removing the kinks. This can be a little annoying after a while, but is only an issue if you are washing large areas or moving around a lot. Also it is extremely difficult to store the hose on the unit as coiling it is a nightmare. You just have to spend extra time manipulating the hose and the gun to achieve something resembling a decent coil for storage. These are minor issues and as mentioned are the result of the hose being such good quality, but they annoy me enough to remove a star of something that really should get 5.
You will not regret getting an extension hose in spite of these two quibbles, it will transform your power washing experience! It is a quality product at a good price!
Amazing quality!
Having bought the K2 I realized while half way through my first wash of my car with it that I had to keep picking up my K2 just so the gun would reach certain places so I hit Amazon for a extension cable for the gun so the K2 could just sit in one spot.
As soon as I took it out of the box I could feel the quality of the cable, you get a really high quality cable for what you pay and it works great on the K2 to stop you having to move the pressure all the time!

As mentioned by some of the other reviews here, it isn’t entirely obvious right away how you’re supposed to attach this to your pressure washer. Luckily, I had read the review before purchase that mentioned a particular Youtube video which demonstrates the exact process.
Assembly was easy after the initial confusion, and the extension works flawlessly. No leaks or drips to speak of. I bought mine to be lazy and leave my K2 mounted on the garage wall. I can now walk around the whole car in one go without dragging the pressure washer unit and power cable around with me. No fuss, no mess.

I spent 3 weekends pressure spraying my roof. Much of it could only be reached by sitting on the apex with a safety harness attached to the chimney and my K2 also strapped to it. Having to move the sprayer due to the short hose supplied was really restrictive so I bought this.
As others have written,the benefits of longer reach are obvious so not worth repeating so this is a really useful accessory for your Karcher.
Knocked one star off as I can’t believe the price for a relatively simple hose. Although Amazon usually have this for 25, many places sell it for 39. I snapped it up when an Amazon seller listed it at 19.50 which I think is a bit more realistic. That said, on receiving it I can see it is good quality and well made.
It’s very stiff and springy so although gives you greater reach it does make the lance harder to use.
I can confirm this DOES fit a K2. Well it certainly fits my K2 compact. However, contrary to what others have written, this does not connect to the sprayer directly. It simply can’t as it doesn’t have a screw attachment. This attaches to the original hose which simply clicks in as the end of the extension hose into the lance. The other way around would be better as the more flexible original hose would make using it easier.
All in all though I do recommend this as it will save a lot of time and hassle on big pressure spraying jobs such as roofs or patios.

Arrived promptly but soon realised that i had ordered quick connect instead of screw type like many others , but found handy video that shows how this will work with old screw type pressure washers.
You need to unscrew female quick release end from extension and then unscrew existing hose from machine.
Now attach female quick release end to machine where original hose was attached.
Now insert male quick release into female connector on machine and attach original hose to threaded end of extension hose.

I was after one of these for a while, eventually bought it for my K2 unit only to get it out and it wouldn’t fit! I nearly sent it back but used YouTube to double check as there are no instructions in the box!!! Damn shame as YouTube worked and showed how you need to take off certain parts and reconfigurate to make it work. Now I’m happy
Kärcher extension hose, a good product but . . . .
The product is fine other than;
(1) because of it’s thickness, it currently has a permanent “set” which limits it’s effectiveness. I’m hoping that after a few warm days it may unroll itself!
(2) It’s a pity that Krcher just can’t be bothered to give a few simple instructions as to how to connect it. It may be obvious to most, but it wasn’t immediately obvious to me and a few “pictograms” would have been useful.
(3) From a design point of view, you are connecting a plastic screw thread on the Krcher washer, to a metal screw thread on the hose fitting . . . . be very careful that you don’t cross-thread the plastic fitting!
This adds a lot of length to the original hose that came with the K2 and also makes it quick release too which helps with storage a lot. The only thing I did find was that you have to be really careful about how you screw the connector to the K2 (in my case) as initially it came off the machine and stripped a bit of the thread off. It had looked as though it was firmly on but wasn’t.
Watch the videos that are out there to find out how to attach it – when you receive it you will have no idea how to connect the thing.

I purchased this to help with cleaning my cars so i didn’t have to move the pressure washer all the time.
You simple connect your pressure washer together and this by snapping them together.
This then allows you to easily have a large distance ghat you can move around with.
This is then simply disconnected by clicking a button and pulling them apart.
The only downside is that the hose tries to coil back up which can be frustrating to make sure the hoses and cables don’t tangle together.
It DOES fit!
Purchased this as an extension for the totally inadequate 4m hose as supplied with the K2 model. Was a bit concerned after reading a particular review but then I know it can be returned should there be a problem………..There wasn’t! Just read the instructions which are very simple and graphic. With the 4m hose on it’s own, the K2 unit came under fire as it was in the proximity of the work area. With the 6m extension providing a total 10m, there was no such problem. My only grumble is that I feel Karcher could supply a longer hose with the unit as supplied. As a foot note, I cleaned the car, drive, footpath, patio and a wall in two hours.
Our 15 year old Karcher expired and we replaced it with a new K4 with the push fit hose connections. Adding this hose was simplicity itself thanks to the easy connections ( so much easier than the old screw on type) and the extension gives that extra flexibility to allow tasks to be done around the garden, car etc.
One word of warning….store the coiled up hose with a little care as it is possible to cause it to fold/kink which will eventually weaken it and give you a potential fail point.
The other point of note is to make sure that your pressure washer has the push fit connections ( generally post 2007) that this hose has. If you have the screw fit connections, another hose is available.
Highly recommended.
Arrived quickly and well packed and am happy to say that this DOES fit my K4 after having to return my last hose as although the description indicated it fitted all models from K2 to K7 it does not as that had screw fittings but my K4 has push fittings which I pleased to say this hose also has.
I would point out when fitted the hose will not retract onto the hose reel as the extension connection is too big to go through the hose guide so has to be disconnected after use.
