- Let’s fix it firmly! The trick to shave correctly and easily is to firmly fix what you are shaving.
- Move in the correct posture! When filing, file it in front of or at a slight angle to the object to be filed. The trick is to push the file from the chest to the waist, which is the easiest to hold the file .
- Get rid of chips! If you sharpen both the iron file and the wood file, the shavings will get clogged with chips. To remove the chips, use a brass brush with a wire brush to remove the chips without damaging the file. Removing chips is the key to keeping the sharpness for a long time!

Nice set of files and carrying case.
Nice set of files that are well made, effective and comfortable to use. They provide good options for detailed projects like model making. Good case that is a bonus and helps to avoid the loss of individual files.

These seem fine but came up during a search for warding files. Stupidly I didn’t notice and ordered them. They are very definitely needle files and so I returned them. To their credit they accepted the return without issue, so you can certainly order in confidence from this selle

The idea of having a needle file set that comes with a handle that enables the other files in the set to be interchanged is great.
This set feels cheap because it is cheap, the files are not as stiff as i would of expected,but i suppose a bit of flex stops them snapping.Still in use but they are only an occasional use item.
They did the job.

The product is first class and perform as they are meant to do.
I do however have to question delivery problems. I was asked to give an alternative delivery destination which I did. The parcel was delivered, left on the doorstep no notification or ring of the doorbell! If I wasn’t made aware of person in the drive by the Ring camera the parcel would have been on the doorstep. Not impressed by this and recent deliveries or feedback.
Does the Kob
Bought to reshape an axe handle, the rasp performs well. Takes a good amount of wood off with a heavy push but also can be used lightly to take less away. Comfortable grip.
The rasps are just what I wanted and really get through wood quickly and efficiently. Haven’t had a chance to use the sandpaper yet but the product overall looks good.
Product seems well made, does what it is supposed to. More aggressively removes/ reshapes the wood than a conventional file, wood files or sanding needed after using as leaves a rough finish.
Good quality for the price. Delivered promptly.
(Husband) I made this purchase for carpentry work to our home. They are of good quality for the price and I should be able to make good use of them. I was also pleased how quickly they were delivered.
