Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars 6 year old-first consol game
This was for my grandson for his 6th birthday. Following a few minutes of frustration he managed to get the hang of it and, when he could get the controller off his mum he absolutely loved it-definitely a beginners game though

Got this primarily for my little boy to play on, but the most fun we have had with it has been multiplayer as a family.
The games are simple and easy to control but hard to master, so even my 5yr old can confidently join in and compete.
It is bright and colourful, fun and intuitive and definitely a great way to spend time and bond with the kids!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just like the classics
As good as the ones on the wii. I remember playing the 2008 M+S Olympic Games and loving it and this is even better

With a story mode it allows people playing on their own to be occupied with the games as the events are less fun against AI.

However the multiplayer side of M+S games are definitely the most enjoyable (especially if you’ve got a few competitive people)

    Bueno
El juego vino bastante bien, vena sellado y sin ningn detalle, lo nico es que a la hora de canjear los puntos ya estaban expirados lo que me hace creer que es de reventa

4.0 out of 5 stars Mario olympics
It is not the most easiest of games to get use to for adults or small children, disappointed in that fact, but still fun to play as a family of 4

Fun game with Mario and Sonic cas
Good game for younger players. Button and motion control options for most games. Some of the games are pretty tough.

Storyline is pretty boring but it’s the only way to unlock some characters.

    Not Fifa 21
I love to play this alone, cos I’ve got no friends. None. I feel so alone. I gotta poster of a neighbours family, like its Tony and his wife and Tony’s elderly parents and sometimes I talk to them. But mostly I play this game. Alone.

Sonic and Mario Olympics is a great game for the family. The only downside is that the actual events are over really quickly. It would be good to have a few longer events included. Otherwise it’s good for one household or for online play with other households. Definitely recommended.

    Very fun one
Very nice and fun family friendly game with sophisticated ideas and challenges. You’ll have to get used to a lot of retro time with this one a long with the usual nowadays gameplay.

Kids love playing this game, there’s plenty to do and lots of different activities. 37 does seem a little expensive but that’s nintendo for you there always on the expensive side.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game 🎮 good value super and delivered on time.
It was a gift for my niece at Xmas, but I can review from both sides of the product, here goes. Delivered on time and in a professional amazon manner, like usual! Packaging perfect . To top it was it got reduced the day after I’d put it into my basket and amazon automatically lowered the end total wow. As for the game we had already had the Mario game for the switch when my son got it but now she rang us to say thanks and how much she loved it?

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI started playing this. The story mode is lengthy and slightly confusing. I started college back up so I have stepped back from it. Once I finish, I will give it another shot. I am excited to get back to playing this.

    Kids do love i
Kids love it and it’s also got an old “Tokyo 1964” retro game included if u want to see what the old school graphics used to look like. Plenty of characters and events to choose from. Quick delivery too and cheaper than argos

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is the best game in the franchise for newcomers. The game offers an abundance of events and a great story that’ll give younger children insight into the history of the Olympic Games. If you are looking into becoming a competitive athlete online, then this game will not be for you. However, it is perfect for any get together with friends and/or family, due to the game’s short session mentality.

4.0 out of 5 stars More to do, but less party friendly
    Game delivered in perfect condition.
The actual game itself is not that great. You can only play games individually if you’re not playing story mode. There’s no way to queue up a number of games like a tournament mode if playing with friends or at a party, so it’s unfortunately lacking compared to the Wii Mario & Sonic. It’s disappointing but still kills time with friends.

Old school and basic but it's Mario and Sonic and fun party game !
Great fun with others if you don’t expect too much technically from the events. Take away the characters and you have a quite clumsy and old school button basher but the different characters abilities add charm and multiplayer is a blast.

    Daughter loves this game
Bought it for my daughter and she is enjoying it. She seems to pick it up much faster than I have done! She is ten and I would say game it best for younger kids and I like that she is not on the couch all the time. I wish there more like this

    Fabulous family game
What a fantastic game to play loads of different sports to choose from you can play single or two player.

    Great form of exercise too.

Perfect game for the whole family.

    Fun and then some!
Remember the old Olympic games on PS1 and PS2? Button bashing stuff? This is in the same vein but MUCH better as it requires timing, coordination and strategy and not just relentless hammering of one button!

Great sports game which is based firmly in arcade fun rather than simulation! The list of events are Grattan’s, apart from a few tricky ones like gymnastics, it’s easy to grasp!

Great family fun, not a game for sore losers as victories will change every time, but great fun nonetheless! Only downside is that it’s a little to brief for invested longevity!

Fun game to pass the time
Good to pass the time. Story mode took me 7 hours or so. Then you can play the other events and try to set records. I do feel bad for making Shadow do the horizontal splits during gymnastics though.. It looked painful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good family game
There are some nice ideas in this game, some of the events work really well, others are hard to get used to or the controls can be a little complex. You do have the option of changing up the controls for each event. Overall it is good fun game for the family , but I prefer the other mario games, such as Mario tennis or Mario odyssey more.

Golden Review Award: 41 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Great game for family bonding
Great game, everyone goes on about kids not going outside, kids not getting enough exercise.

Well my son loves the outdoors and loves running around and playing but in the middle of winter when it’s freezing outside there’s not much chance of that

We bought him a switch for part of his Christmas and just bought him Mario and sonic at the olympics, this is great for getting the family together, myself, my son, my wife and nieces and nephews plus the neighbours can all get involved in this and all play and bond together, this is great for that and we all love it!

Easy 5 stars from me, great game for all the family!

I absolutely love this game! I have never played Sonic and Mario Olympics before, so i was determined to give this one a go. Plenty of Characters and Game Modes to choose from, plus the Additional Characters and Stages you can unlock by playing the Story Mode. I have not completed the Story Mode yet, but i can tell you that you will enjoy it, i will not say anymore than that as i don’t want to spoil it for anyone else.

Really good family game. Lots of different sports to choose from.
I must warn you, it’s addictive and there’s a damaging side effect of the inability to use your dominant arm after a weekend of challenging all the family! The pain is real!
    Great fun.
