The 1st watch touch screen stopped scrolling after a number of weeks. Unfortunately the failure occurred outside the Amazon return window. Fortunately though a card was with the watch that had the sellers or manufacturers contact details for any issues. They were contactable via a number of different channels. I chose by email. They were quick to respond to me, I explained the issue, then was asked to email a video of the issue. After which they agreed a replacement and gave me a number of ways for this to happen. I chose the method where I repurchased the item, showed them proof of purchase and they refunded me. Which they all did quite quickly. It was all done in a matter of days from start to finish. Though yes the 1st watch failed, I’d buy from them again knowing that they’ll replace if it fails in an unreasonable amount of time.

I am so sorry I wrote a stropy review because I couldn’t charge the watch.
It would help if I used the one provided. Once I did the watch charged. So massive apologises.

I purchased and received this watch on the 10/9/23. I had this watch up and working perfectly within 10 mins. It has a very clear dial and works excellently with the associated app. My Huawei watch had just started giving trouble, and I was looking for an adequate replacement. This watch was less than a third of the price and works just as well if not better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent watch

I found the watch easy to set up and link to my phone. The app is easy to follow. Everything appears to be working as it should, early days yet but
I am pleased with my purchase.

Let’s start with some general information… According to what you expect from them, you can love or hate these “smart watches”. They are not really “smart” watches that can operate on their own, but rather a hardware extension of your mobile device with and extra screen and some extra sensors and input/output capabilities. They don’t “have Alexa”, they send your voice to your mobile device to pass it to Alexa. They don’t connect to Internet, they use your mobile device to do that. They are more like a remote controls on your wrist. What they actually have as an extra are some sensors that measure your heartbeat and blood oxygen. Your mobile device might also have such sensors but these watches are always in contact with your wrist when you wear them, so they can automatically measure those without the need to put your finger on your mobile phone’s sensor. So the short of it, these watches are not very “smart”, they do most things with the help of your mobile phone and an app on it.

Talking about apps, different smart watches work with a few common apps (apps that cater to a range of watches). This one works with FitCloudPro. Whatever you want to do with your watch, you have to give permissions to the app, for example if you want your contacts on the phone, you have to give the app access to your contacts on your phone. This can start with contacts and continue with your live location, the messages you receive, Facebook notification, access to your photos, and so on. How safe that is is up to you to decide.

Getting that out of the way, my expectation was mainly to replace my very old fitness tracker. I used it to measure my heart rate and record my location and it would give me my speed, distance, calories burned, etc. along with a record of my route, and pass all these to some online websites to track my progress. While these smart watches have sensors for heart data, they don’t have their own GPS, and so far I have not managed to put my route and other data on the online sites that I use. So while this is a nice watch, it did not help much with what I wanted.

And yes, let’s talk about “nice”. First of all, I think the metal wrist band makes the watch look quite good. The round metal watch face adds on top of that. I though a round screen was not the best idea for a digital display, but it sure is very aesthetic. It has a large screen with a good resolution and the watch face can be changed using the app on your mobile. The information it gives while you exercise is nice, you can see the distance, duration, current time, steps, heart rate. But it seems that you can only do some certain things while the exercise tracker is working. For example, it has the option of skipping the song played, but you don’t have the option of showing the regular watch face during the exercise.

Overall, I have not cut down from a 5-star rating as it does what similar “smart watches” do in this category, I cannot say that it delivered what I was hoping for. I was hoping it would do things on its own (like its own GPS tracker), load apps on it, and not have to add another app to my mobile device and none of that could happen. But I must admit, I wore my very old fitness tracker only while exercising; this watch, I feel like wearing when I’m just going out.

This is a great smart watch for the price. Nice and chunky it has two buttons and a touch screen that is really intuitive and comes with both a metal bracelet and a resin strap. It also ship with a tool to let you adjust the strap, which is really useful.

It does all the things you’d expect from a smart watch, with heart rate monitor, steps, sleep monitor, blood pressure (though I suspect this is a rough calculation) blood oxygen, etc. It has the call and social network alerts you expect. There is a dedicated app it uses and the pairing was simple. I disliked that it defaulted to using the phone for sound and calls on my Samsung and I had to manually change outputs.

The screen is clear and a good size with a nice set of faces (and more in app) and the battery life is very good. This has as much functionality as some much dearer smart watches. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve tested a number of smartwatches over the last year, and have been impressed with the advancements in quality I’ve seen in that time. While this watch is superficially similar to a number of competitors like WalkerFit, the OS and app are somewhat different.

I’ve always been a sucker for the diver’s watch style, and this reminds me a lot of my all-time favourite watch: the Timex Indiglo Sport. The chunky-yet-comfy design makes it feel substantial in a way that most modern smartwatches don’t.

Materials and manufacturing quality feel excellent. It’s robust yet still lightweight and comfortable, and it’s nice that they included a silicone strap along with the traditional metal type. The graphite finish is extremely attractive, making this look more expensive than it is. It also comes with a little pin remover that is a big help if you need to remove a strap link. That’s worth $5 just on its own.

There are plenty of built-in biometric functions but, like most budget smartwatches, they’re not very good. The O2 and heart rate metrics are okay, but that’s about it. The BP tester is useless, and the sleep tracker is hit or miss. The footstep tracker isn’t bad, but it often adds extra steps to the count if I move my arm around. Conversely, if my arms are static (pushing the lawnmower, for example), it usually doesn’t register any steps at all. Still, that’s common to almost all watches like this.

The OS is slightly different than the ones I usually see, but still does more or less the same things. It’s not quite as refined, and I find I have to fiddle around to find things more than I do with others. Still, it allows a fair bit of customizability and generally works well. I also like that the second watch button can be assigned different functions.

Calling/answering is clear and didn’t suffer from as much lag as I expected. The volume is acceptable, but I can’t find a way to raise or lower it like I can on other watches. The onboard microphone works relatively well, but it’s not as impressive as others I’ve tried.

Most things are controlled via the FitCloudPro app, and it’s not well-reviewed. I have another watch that uses it, and my experience has been pretty poor with both. The app often has a hard time connecting/binding them to my phone, which can be frustrating. Overall, it’s acceptable for basic tasks like syncing the time or adding a watch face.

This comes with seven dials preinstalled, which is a little low compared to other watches. There are plenty more available to download through the app, however, and many are much higher quality than you see on competing apps like DaFit. The downside is you can only have a maximum of seven, meaning you have to overwrite one of them if you want to download anotherand you don’t get to choose which one gets erased. Most other watches at least have an open slot for one extra download.

Battery life is good. I use mine as a standalone watch, setting it to low power mode and turning off the wrist-raise function. When used like that, it’s very energy efficient and I’d estimate I can go at least two or three weeks between charges. If you’re using the biometrics and calling/notification features, you’ll probably have to recharge weekly (depending on usage).

I really like this watch, but it has a few drawbacks in terms of the app and OS. Still, it offers a number of higher quality features at a fairly reasonable price. If you can get it while they’re still offering the $30 coupon, I think it’s an absolute steal at $49.99. This is an impressive little watch for the money.

My rating: 4.5 stars (4.25 stars at the regular price)

The app and OS are a tad clunky, but a great little watch for the money

It feels like good quality and I really like the chain. It does pull hairs but I haven’t found a strap that doesn’t. The watch itself is huge! (Or my wrist is tiny) but I like that because you can have a very interactive screen and it is easier to read everything. Does get in the way a bit of bending your hand backwards. I wouldn’t want to catch myself falling down with this on.

It does have a lot of backgrounds that include some type of animation but it is very basic gif-like images. Not very smooth for graphics or fluid-like animation as you can see in my video. It does look nice regardless and there are a hundred to choose from. All with a unique presentation and display of features. Some are pretty cheap and/or cheesy though.

The power cord is only two feet long, so that’s a pain in the if you’re trying to charge it from your nightstand or whatever. And the magnet connection isn’t very strong and plops off easily. I’d buy a longer cord but this is a very unique design, so you’re kinda stuck with it. Unless you buy a usb extension cord maybe. You also need to have your watch upside down to charge, so you can’t see what it’s charged to. Also, whenever you plug it in, it turns on. I don’t like that.

It seems to sync up very well with the iOS and the iOS’ health data. I haven’t noticed any issues in that regard. But then again, I don’t wear this watch enough to really get it’s full use. (Not allowed watches at my work)

So for the most part, I only got this watch as a show piece and for the convenience of having a basic smart watch. It tells me the time, my heart rate, messages, acts as a basic flashlight at times, and all the simple stuff in between. It definitely doesn’t beat the real thing but for the price, you’re getting a pretty cool looking watch and so far is a great deal in my opinion.

Also, it has a little pin remover that comes with it! I feel like watch smith now!

Great watch for what it is worth
