Great pair of gloves. Run a little big so would be worth sizing down.

Bought Adidas x-lite gloves and they ripped after 2-3 uses. Got a refund and bought these.
Far better build quality and materials.

They’ve not made me david de gea, but hey they ain’t jimmy grimbles boots!

    Would recommend

    Very good 'budget' goalkeeper's gloves
Wearing these Mitre Anza G2 Durable keeper’s gloves makes you feel like a professional. I play a lot of 8-a-side games where everyone takes their turn in goal, and I had the confidence of a David Seaman when I had them on.

They improve ball handling, and due to the fabric they’re made from, they keep your hands from sweating too much.

Best of all, I’ve taken to punching the ball like all the top continental goalkeepers!

Relatively inexpensive, they feel hard-wearing and super comfortable. One word of warning: according to the measurement guide these were far too big for me, yet they proved to be a nice, snug fit. So, order the next size up from that recommended by their measurement guide.

    Good Budget Gloves
These Goal Keeper gloves are a good choice at this price point. It is important to obtain the correct size and are comfortable to wear in this scenario. The inner grip is very good but the padding for punching is not as abundant as more expensive gloves.Five a side and light training are these gloves natural habitat.

Budget goal keeper gloves good for a kick-around in the park
Mitre Anza G2 Durable Goal Keeper Gloves – Size 9

Good pair of basic goal keeper gloves from reputable maker Mitre. The gloves are flexible with grippy textured latex palms. However, they are a budget option only really suitable for knock-about rather than serious play.

=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===

    * Grippy latex palms that stick to the shiny surface of a plastic football
    * Elasticated cuffs mean the gloves slip on with ease
    * Velcro fastening on the wrists mean the gloves stay on firmly
    * Good fit for a size 9 hand (large) and there’s an online size guide so you can choose the right size for you
    * Mitre is a well-known brand that’s been around for a long time
    * Can be cleaned by hand with warm water (though not with soap or detergents or with hot water)
    * Come in a resealable plastic bag for storage and travel
    * Well-stitched gloves
    * Some padding on the back to protect against kicks and knocks and while punching

    === NIGGLES ===

    * These are at the lower end of the spec with light padding and light grip

    Good gloves
    These are very nice gloves.

The main difference between these gloves and more expensive gloves is the palms. More expensive models tend to have smooth, thick foam-like palms (usually white) – they are very effective but there are maintenance and durability issues – cut/knick the palm in almost any significant way and life of the gloves is dramatically shortened.

These gloves have a very different palm – it is contoured rather than smooth, does not feel as think or as foam like. It is difficult to accurately assess long term durability based on short term usage but my initial impressions are very positive – there is less maintenance required, little if any wear so far and they are good for goalkeeping.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Qualiy gloves
I am a goalkeeper for a five-a-side team, and I must say these gloves are a perfect fit for me. They slip on with ease, and after the straps are done they hold firmly. They have nice support for your fingers to reduce the chance of finger snapping! they rubber grips nicely and is made of a sturdy material, as well as the hard outer material on the top of the glove. Punching is easy with these and provide excellent protection against studs as well as the weather. Aside from that these gloves are pleasing to the eye, and with a full kit will be a major distraction for any striker with these beautiful gloves.

    Great for amateur play
We don’t play a lot of football, but as decent budget-sized gloves these are everything that we need to practice with our kids on the local pitch.

I could imagine that somebody playing seriously in goal might need something with a little more protection, but at my level these were comfortable and flexible enough, and I really wasn’t catching the ball often enough to feel too much impact!

    Grippy and durable
I have tried out a pair of size 9s, and as an adult they were a comfortable fit. Straight out of the pack, they are a bit stiff, and within a few games, I would expect them to loosen up, whilst still providing decent grip and feel. The padding seems a little bit thin, but it handled harder shots quite well.

They are quite grippy, thanks to the latex (which should be wiped for surface film and moistened) and all they need is a quick wide down and dry after use.

Not the best I have used, but pretty reasonable for the price, and they seem to give good support.

    Work well for the money
I tried these out in a 5-aside game on a G3 pitch and was suitably impressed. They have good grip, the size 9 fit were true to size compared with other size 9 gloves that I’ve bought and the padding was enough to take the sting out of the ball without losing much sensitivity. A firm velcro closure around the wrist offers a worthwhile bit of support and they are altogether well made and nicely finished. For the kind of social football I’ve played they are more than enough and I’d suggest they are good enough for all but serious club use. The back of the hand could be better protected and I don’t think the materials are the most robust out there but my past experience of Mitre products (balls, boots etc.) would suggest that they offer good value for money compared with the competition.. Recommended.

Really comfortable and a true to size fi
These goalkeeping gloves have have a “sticky” palm, which makes it easier to grip a ball, despite wearing gloves. They are easy to take on and off as they have long bright yellow velcro straps which circle around your wrists and keep the gloves really well in place whilst you play. The backs of the gloves have the Mitre logo across them and are nicely padded. The gloves are a true to size fit and my husband says that theses are really comfortable.

    Good price, good grip
The Mitre Anga G2 are low cost goalkeepers gloves aimed at the beginner and are good for training matches. There’s not a great amount of padding to the palms or backs — just 2mm — but the material, M tech latex, gives excellent grip in wet and dry conditions.

The backs of the hands have a bold mitre logo, with a contrasting yellow Velcro wrist strap. They are comfortable and the minimal padding has the advantage of giving a nice light feeling with good finger mobility. Size 9 I found a good fit for medium to large hands.

These don’t look big or expensive but are durable and should be a great value introduction for beginner goalkeepers.

More for your family kick about than euro 2016...
I am certainly not a professional footballer – I enjoy the unofficial kick about in the park but that’s it. I seem to be dragged into more games by the younger members of my family to play in goal and these goalie gloves does give me at least a fighting chance of keeping the more embarrassing shots from going in. Good quality, feel secure, look ok, excellent value at this price.
