    We used this for puppy while getting him used to sleeping alone in his new home, now he can sleep through the night.
    Seems very sensitive to him moving around in the mornings and means we can wake up and get down to him before he starts barking like mad or wets the bed.
    Works as well as much more expensive baby monitors we had in the past.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really wanted entry level and basic baby monitor and this product does exactly what I need. The receiver is only activated when the baby makes constant noise. Another words, you don’t hear one time cough or sneeze. So, your sleep isn’t disrupted every time. Rechargeable battery is a must though. The battery lasts 2.5 weeks max

    Setting it up was easy and it can be either plugged in or used wirelessly with AA batteries. It picked up sounds well but has to be placed closer to the baby, just a short delay but it’s good enough for me to know when the baby starts crying.

    Overall, this is a good option for those looking for simplicity, quality, and value for money.

    Considering the amount that people will fork out for baby monitors these days, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

    Likes:
    * Decent range. Tested through a 2 floor, 3 bed modern house with several Wi-Fi devices, walls in-between, etc. Didn’t have issues.
    * Speaker quality is good.
    * 2 x power adapters. Baby-end needs power, while parent-unit can be battery powered, too. Handy for when you wish to carry the monitor round the house. With the range mentioned above, a nice little feature. Battery life is also decent. Lasts pretty much all day and is easy to plug in, when you’re ready to head back to sleep with the device charging by your bedside.
    * Baby-end has a thermostat built in, which is pretty accurate.
    * Baby-end has a nifty little night-light.
    * Simple to use controls. Music mode can be enabled with 3 second hold of button – Instructions are pretty clear.

    Dislikes:
    * Microphone picks up a lot of background noise. There are different modes. You’ll need to find what works best for you.
    * There’s a delay with the mic – Not much, but it takes a few seconds for the mic to pick up the baby-end. So you may not immediately know what’s going on. Once the mic kicks in, it works reliably.

    Over all great item and easy to use.

    Only down side is that when baby makes a noise at first it doesn’t pick it up straight away, the speaker is clear after that but seems to drop out as such can’t hear baby breathing as stated in other reviews.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood quality, sturdy enough and good price. Very good audio quality, very sensitive to any noise. You can use the power cable for both units or you can use battery power for parents unit. This is very useful, easy to use. Thanks

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis baby monitor is pretty solid in terms of build quality. You get the monitor and receiver both of which feel sturdy and well put together.

    The audio pickup from the monitor is really good. In a quiet environment it picks up breathing sounds.

    The speaker isn’t for listening to music and lacks bass a little, but that’s not what you expect from a baby monitor. For keeping an ear on your little one it’s fine.

    Connecting over DECT means it’s far less likely to be picked up by anyone exterior to your home and it maintains a solid connection without interference. The range was tested in a brick house, through 6 walls out to the garage some 90ft away and performed fine.

    The design is sleek which the white monitor likely matching your nursery colours. The darker receiver sits unobtrusively in most decors too. The monitor is mains powered whilst the receiver can be mains or battery powered allowing you to carry it around the home. I particularly like the LED visual notification light if you baby begins to cry, it’s handy if you have ambient sounds where you happen to be.

    Overall as really useful and small addition to any nursery. It provides you with a sense of being able to monitor your infant without having to go into the nursery and risk disturbing their sleep routine. Hearing them breathing normally is particularly calming if the parents are a little on edge.

    I like it. Small, unobtrusive and works well.
