This is a good looking unit and it was pretty easy to fit. The only reason I haven’ given it 5 stars is that the first unit I bought was faulty. However, the return was accepted no problem and I bought a second unit which worked fine. Shame I forgot to return the faulty unit within the allotted 30 days!
I bought this to fit inside a central heating boiler cupboard , the existing wiring was a mess so the whole lot ripped out for the new installation. The twin spot light fitting went in a treat, all the electrical and earthing connections were where they should be, I had no problems here. very pleased with the result, and it looks good.
Easy to install, robust and smart. I fitted Hue bulbs as a cheaper alternative to using Philips fittings – really impressed and now my drive is lit up from dusk automatically.
Although this is intended for outdoor use, it works well indoors too. I removed the front glass (provided for rain protection) to allow better heat dispersion and the resulting shape is neat and unobtrusive.
I wanted two spot lights in my garden to show off a small corner where I have some flowers and small herb rack. These lights fit my requirements perfectly.
The unit does need to be wired in to the mains but that is no issue provided this is done safely.
The lights were delivered within the stated period and were very well packaged. Well recommended.
Great delivery. Excellent price. Just what I wanted. Unfortunately still sitting in its box as I have not been able to get an electrician to fit it. I only hope when I do, if I do, that it will work. The wiring is in situ, I only want the old light taking down and the new one put in its place. Thus far the job is too small for an electrician to be bothered to do the job.
Excellent quality fitting. Heavy duty metal with a good finish. The base that fits to the wall is plastic, but is sturdy and completely covered by the fitting. Easy to wire and plenty of seals to keep the rain out. It also looks very smart when it is fitted. Would recommend.
