I realise it’s quite an old game now, but thought I’d give it a try. The game play is ok, we all know the NFS style. Unfortunately the cut scenes between play are a bit cringe worthy! Generally a good game.

Extremely happy with this product. I came to Amazon to replace another copy that had to be taken back to my local supermarket store months ago. It’s great, no issues. Showed up quick. I thought the price was good. The day I got it I spent 4hours thinking “just one more race” so I definitely like it. My only criticism is the in game music (which you can turn off), other than that it’s amazing. The racing and the customisation is brilliant! Highly recommend!!!

This game itself is a masterpiece for the racing genre of gaming. The open world driving, the deep customization settings and the mesmerizing graphics make this game a must buy.

The story has some really good game play, I hate to say this but I don’t feel like the story was as good as it could have been. I’m not saying it’s bad it’s just not perfect. The main thing to take from this Need for Speed is that there is a bright future for this franchise if they can build off this game, as everything else they have down to a tee.

All in all it’s a game that racing enthusiasts need to get as it has a lot of game time and the cars are outstandingly good!

Its a good game, superb graphics, good achievements. Features like stance make me happy. I’m a big NFS fan, however…. I do not like the characters or storyline, its like.. bad.. I feel like to block my ears when some of them speak, it just so unnecessary and unfitting. There is no pause either and the way the cars handle could be so much better, the car goes places I do not want it to go. I’m being generous giving it 5*, too many bugs, as others said the customisation aren’t alot and EA need to focus on the player/customer’s point of view, what they want. FM6 & The Crew kicks this game’s butt, but this is still a must buy ! If they wanted to create another Underground they would’ve, I really hope this is the last game they make with Criterion & Ghost games because they have been in decline ever since, its going to be another brush off the shoulder. The driving physics and creativity span do not even compare to 8+ years ago.

I am loving this game it is amazing, I am a big fan of racing games and especially Need For Speed games because they provide hours of entertainment and the customisation on the cars is unparalled to any other racing game on console that I have played. I am loving the 1080p graphics which shows great detail.

I bought this game not really knowing what to expect, but being a big car fan the trailers made it look great.
The game looks stunning from the environment to the cars!
However there was not as many cars as I thought there was going to be, and I found the customisation a little bit frustrating, i was hoping I could customise parts of rocket bunny kits with other parts but this is not the case, I found with the cars that you can have rocket bunny kits , you have to have the full body kit which cannot be missed or have none of the rocket bunny parts, a little bit disappointed.
The other major fault I have with this game is the driving once you setup your car for “race” or “drift”, 9/10 I would have my cars setup for drifting as that’s what I like, but when i set the Ferrari 458 for racing, supposedly making it the best grip and downforce for that, I found the car does not turn, at all, it feels like it just wants to under steer unless you are going so slow you can’t keep up with the AIs, I found cars always quicker if you drifted every corner (not the end of the world for me). I hope in future they sort this out with some updates.

All in all, the game is stunning, and as a car fan I still enjoy it but with a little frustration.

Great game.Good points:amazing graphics, lots of customization options for the cars, alot of fun to play.
Bad points:Not much story, just a few cutscenes, the open world isn’t as good as the Crew’s open world in my opinion, but need for speed is still much better.
Overall opinion:This game is alot of fun and is very good looking,it is the best racing game out there for next gen consoles in my opinion.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe only reason I bought this game was because I was a massive fan of the early games, underground 1, 2 & carbon. After hearing this game was going back to where it all began I had to buy it. Needs a lot more customisation, more cars & a few tweeks to see it right. But it’s a blast from the past & im sure there will be some dlc in the near future!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersone of the best need for speeds to date brings back some of the old classic feel we all came to know and love about the franchise… there are a few minor cons that ea and co’s could ammend with game updates but they wont cuz they suck and ea if you see this yes your games are great but you lot alway ruin it with the little things but yh defo worth the buy baught this over black ops 3

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love this game it’s a remake of underground 2 but the graphics are sick and it’s in night just the way it was back in nfs underground 2 and i love the sounds of the cars when you upgrade them it actually Makes a difference in sound, I only know about this because I’ve played the beta version and they have really put there heads down to work with the graphics and nitrous and the damage.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersGreat game! If you are/were a big fan of the Underground series by NFS, then this is 100% the game for you. I’ve been waiting for NFS to go back this style and they have finally delivered!

My only negative would be the car selection. For me, when comparing it to other racing based games out there, there isnt a lot to choose from. I was expecting a little more in that department, however its a good first step in the right direction and I hope they stick to this style of NFS.
