I bought this to take as an extra bag for day trips while on vacation in Europe. It was handy to be able to carry water and snacks and put things we purchased while out and about. It’s nice it folds down so small for packing. I would definitely recommend.

This backpack was great as a day bag for our month long trip in Europe. It takes up very little space when not in use and is sturdy and comfortable when out and about exploring for the day. I am so glad I brought it.

I feel like that photo was deceiving.. but the bag will work either way. It’s not as big as I thought, but hoping that by buying the brand means that it won’t fall apart in a week. If you are large (like med – large build), then this will be too small, more for a petit person, teen or kid.

I have more than one of these. I like this new model more than the previous mainly because this includes a second water bottle pocket. I’ve used these bags for many things. Most recently, it has become my backpack for biking on the trails. It’s light, water resistant and comfortable. I’ve maybe carried up to 20 pounds in it and it still looks new.

This is a great bag and has been very durable. The shoulder straps balance the load well. There isn’t any structure to its “frame,” but that doesn’t deter from its comfort – you can always put something in it, included a foam pad, but I never had needed to). It looks like the day I got it…and it’s going through some rain, heat, sweat and being tossed around. The seams are taped and provide some water resistance (the Osprey Dry Sack is someone more water resistant as it has a folding top, similar to a true dry bag).

It packs down relatively small, but unless you’re carrying something else (jacket, purse, large cargo pockets, luggage), I wouldn’t say this is “packable on your person”.

I highly recommend if you like lightweight stuff. It also comes with a lifetime warranty if something does happen to it…which I don’t see happening anytime soon.

This is one of the best backpack purchases I’ve made. Often times when taking a trip, you just need an extra bag to throw some things into so that you can go from point a to point B. This bag suits that purpose to the ground. I wouldn’t put a lot of hard or sharp things in it, but for soft goods, it is excellent. This can also be used to split things out of your airplane cabin bag once you get on the plane. It packs down small enough that you can fit in a pocket if you’d like to. It’s also excellent for doing day hikes as it is equipped with water bottle pockets. I used it recently when my family and I went camping. I really appreciate how lightweight it is. I would buy more of these to keep in every vehicle I have if it was just a tad less expensive. You are getting quality with Osprey. I like how they were able to incorporate big backpack features into such a small package, like a chest strap and a belt strap. The small inner pocket that you can pack the bag into actually becomes two pockets so you can put some smaller goods into one. It is a well thought out piece of hiking equipment.

I needed a lightweight packable day bag for travel and this is perfect. I love that it fold into a small item and takes up very little space and when unfolded fits my water bottle.

We travel, camp, and hike a lot. This little pack is perfect. We usually keep it on hand for an extra backpack or to take on a day hike and it’s perfect. Great size, features, and durability yet compact when empty so easy to just bring with.

Bought this as a day pack for excursions while on a cruise- worked like a charm. Packed down to nothing but held jackets, IPad, hat, sunglasses, even a really big water flask in its very deep side pouches. I could not be happier. Great color as well!

I bought this as a day pack for excursions while on a cruise for my wife- worked like a charm. Packed down to nothing but held jackets, hat, sunglasses, even a really big water flask in its very deep side pouches. I could not be happier. Great color as well! I know she likes it- we are going on a weekend trip, and she’s bringing it along!

Planning a trip to Egypt this fall and wanted something packable yet functional for day trips. This is fantastic. Packs into a small pouch yet strong and comfortable when wearing as a back pack.
