I’ve had this toilet seat for 2 months now, so I feel qualified at this point to write a review. Finally, I’ve found a toilet seat which doesn’t shift, when you’re sitting on it!
I’ve had countless thermoplastic toilet seats (many from your usual brick and mortar home stores) that have either started to shift around after a few weeks, or completely fail due to poor fixings. This wasn’t the case for this seat – I had a little bit of trouble pushing the plastic fixing in the holes, but once in they’re solid.
Now I can get back to not worrying about finding a decent toilet seat, and life’s other problems!

Fits the toilet well after adjustment. Too early to tell yet on long term sturdiness but good on first install.
Hardest part of installation was removing the old toilet seat attachments – had to get creative with a mini hacksaw, but once removed and cleaned this went on easily. Soft close works well too.

Good product and fast delivery. UK toilet, depending on model, would need the bolt to be 10-20mm longer for the plastic fasteners to bite properly. I bought some 70mm 6m bolts to replace the ones that came with the kit so it could be fastened down tightly. The kids love it, and it stops the inevitable slamming about.
Soft close sea
My old toilet seat lost the soft close function and this seat was a good price and looked good. The attachment is very different and uses large raw plugs which simply sit into the holes on the unit and a large screw draws it tight. This seat has an easy removal function which is handy. Setting it up is a bit fiddly and I took a few attempts to get it lined up and tightened, since fitting it there has been slight movement but not enough to bother removing again.
The seat is not a heavyweight device and quite creaky when lifted and overall I do not feel it will last for years but time will tell.
You ask what purpose I used this product for, obviously it’s a toilet seat, so what else would it be be used for. It serves its purpose and was easier to install than ones with the screw underneath, it all fitted from the top. It took a while to align to get the bolts to fit the holes, me being a 78 year old woman with arthritic fingers. But once done it tightened easy. There is no need to use the quick release as there is enough of a gap to clean under. Hope this one lasts longer as it’s the 4th seat in three years.
Replaced our toilet seat with this one..really good love the little toddler seat, although i dont have a toddler its ideal for families with children. Like the rubber plugs that fit snug into seat holes to secure seat..nice and comfortable too.

This is a replacement for a worn out family toilet seat. Got on deal so price was good. Easy to fit and seems sturdy. Only thing is the smaller seat for children is a bit wobbly. Still works fine and my son still uses it ok

Pipishell Square Toilet Seat is ideal replacement for a Roca Square Toilet Seat which would cost 160+.
Replacement was easy to install and fittings were of good quality material. The quick release mechanism on the toilet seat/lid very good for cleaning.
A good fit and sturdy
It does the job, is a good fit and appears sturdy. Fitting was a bit of a pain, getting it sit squarely, without overhang or being short but that was.mostly on account of the holes in the toilet itself being a little too close. The quick release works well and is a good concept.

The seat itself is nicely finished, it’s replacing an original RAK 600 soft close seat, it’s about half the weight and a lot thinner but then half the price. Soft close mechanism very good. Fitting was ok, main issue was with getting the original broken fitting out, fitting the new seat was painless! However and this may just be my one, the lid stays up but the seat itself doesn’t when open, an annoyance. Overall quality seems ok, delivery was excellent, instructions clear enough. Pops off for a quick and easy clean. Been fitted a week and hasn’t moved so far so good, I was recommended getting the black rubbery fittings to fit to as they are meant to move loose less, time will tell. Half the price of the Rak600 seat, with teenage boys will see how it lasts!
Top fit toilet seat very easy (and I’m not normally the DIYer in this house) to fit took me around 20 mins and at least ten mins of that was removing the old one. Love how easy it clips on and off made adjustment very easy and will undoubtedly make cleaning very easy. As it fits so well buying another one for our other toilet (same model toilet).
Excellent quality for the money and easy to remove for cleaning. The measurements on the listing might be out slightly. However, this fitted perfectly to a standard D-shape close fit modern toilet pan, with a width of 345mm and length of 430mm from the front of the pan to the fixing holes. It took no more than ten minutes to fit the new seat and as it has top fixings it will be easy to remove if it ever needs replacing.
