This was a great box, my boyfriend and I pull cards and this helped to add to our collection. I however have since found this box at a few different places with a lower cost. I would still order again.
As someone that makes a living buying, selling, trading, and flipping TCG POKEMON, I was pleased my ETB arrived unscathed, in tact, and sealed. Pulled some decent hits, every pack showed no evidence of tampering or resealing. Cards were in correct order, every pack with either 2 reverse holos&Holo, reverse holox2 and hit, or reverse, Holo, hit. All had code cards and an energy card. Promo card included, dice, acrylic markers, card sleeves, card dividers, and pack of fresh sealed energy cards, along with a booklet with info on specific expansion set all accounted for. 9 boosters by the way.
Definitely would purchase again.
This year I have started doing Pokemon TCG official tournaments and this box was one of the best. It had tons of great pulls in it. Got many good hits with the packs. I needed some more of the card sleeves and some more stuff to make various decks. This comes in a very nice box that you can easily store in a backpack to take with you. You can easily put two good decks in the dividing carton in the interior netting. It comes with everything you need. Yet, it is kind of a lotto with some cards and doesn’t have a full complete set of cards. It does come with a good swath of things. Over all it is a good start and will give you a good boost of things to get started or build your decks. I was very pleased with this one. The box is very nice and holds up very nicely.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiance. I was a little worried about buying the damaged & discounted option given that there was no guarantee it would arrive with all the pieces intact. My fiance and I are into card collecting, but aren’t invested in the coins/dice/box itself etc. so I decided to take a gamble.
I was astonished by the quality of it. It was completely intact and all of the components were accounted for.
When it arrived the plastic seal was ripped, the outer packing dented, and there was a tiny bit of dirt and dust between the box and the sleeve. The box itself was unharmed, and even though the rip in the packaging exposed the guide book it was undamaged as well.
Once the packaging and sleeve were removed and the dirt wiped off it looked good as new. Really the damage could have happened just from a single drop and the dirt inside just accumulated as it moved around the warehouse.
This wouldn’t be suitable for someone who wants to keep sealed product or wants pristine exteriors, but if they only care about what’s inside it’s a fantastic option. I’m sure every damaged option comes in different shape and some are a lot worse, but even then if the outside was ruined I would’ve been totally fine as long as everything was inside. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the damaged option again as a casual collector.
Great value! My son pulled a silver holo charizard. But this was just $36.99. I dislike price jacking during the holidays. My other son has been saving up for ever and almost had enough! Then they raised the price! No packs were pre opened or tampered with. Very good condition. Will buy again at some point.
The package came in perfect condition, the card were awesome too! pulled some good hits, and the promo card looks INSANE! but most importantly the package was delivered with care, and it came pretty quickly! I do feel bad for people who had to write the bad reviews, they got a bit unlucky, but most of all it was AWESOME! I totally recommend this! 🙂
Sou suspeito adoro produtos Pokemon , gostei bastante deste para alem de ser dos meus sets preferidos Obsidian Flames ainda me sairam se bem me recordo uns 3 ou 4 hits nesta ETB valeu bem a pena. Divertido para quem gosta e para quem tem filhos que adoram Pokemon.
My 8 year old went bonkers over this box. So much so, he and his 7yo brother got 3 of these boxes combined.
They pulled a Charizard EX, a card valued at $64–a “secret art rare”, 2 art rares, 4 ex cards, a TON of shinies, and more. They got a gold card on pokmon live (this box comes with some QR codes to scan which will create a digital deck in the Pokmon Live app).
Definitely a great gift for someone into pokmon. They won’t be disappointed!
These were a cheaper price than my local comic store so I gave them a try, I didn’t pull anything worthwhile in this entire box. As I know they are random pick, I always expect something, but this had all commons.
Cant beat $37 for an etb especially one with the potential to pull so many different charizards. My son loves to collect and charizard is his favorite so this is a win win. We love to pack battle so this was a must have especially knowing it was on sale. Typically 49.99 so the savings are always great. Its perfect for the holidays, for a rainy day, or for collecting and playing a game. Always recommend buying directly thru amazon, and not a random seller when it comes to pokemon. We got a freshly sealed etb.

Old: I’m writing this review after recieving and opening the box. I was excited to open this box as I really wanted the new special charmander card of him staring out the window, and was really excited. The outside entirety of the set was sealed like it was new, however when I opened it all of the booster packs were ripped open. All in different ways, and one is visibly missing half of its cards. The big pack of cards that came with it is still fully in tack only the boosters were shredded. Nothing else seems to be missing or out of place. I am very disappointed and upset as I was excited on this splurge. I understand things can happen during transit, but considering how the entire set was sealed in the outer plastic it has to have been done at production is my only theory. I love the pokemon company, I collect the cards and booster sets for their artwork for inspiration for my own art and display, its very disappointing to have recieved it this way, I will be contacting support for help with this.
There was no issue with my booster packs. I pulled a reasonable number of hits – three decent ex cards and a full-art Pidgeot. I’m quite satisfied with what I got. Obsidian Flames as a set has a lot of cool cards and I recommend it.
