Very good toy for a holiday
Bought as a present for 4 Yr old daughter to take on holiday. She really enjoyed playing with this by the pool for the week! Would recommend to any polly pocket fan.
Just as described
This product was just as described, my granddaughter is 4 and loved the design of the case in a watermelon shape. Only negative is it is difficult to pack all of the bits into the case especially the umbrella

Kids love it, but after a few weeks we have started to lose the tiny pieces.
Very difficult to get all the pieces back inside correctly and close it up.

My niece is a big Polly Pocket fan so was so pleased to receive this.
She loves the cute watermelon shape. It opens up to a tropical pool party which she loves!
It comes with lots of bit to her allow to play and use her imagination.
It is well made, bright and entertaining.
She loves it – as do her friends.
It folds up and contains all the pieces well so she can take it out and about too.

Polly Pocket is a favourite of my daughter’s, so we were eager to see this. A slice of a watermelon is the shape of the Polly Pocket Watermelon Pool Party Compact. It unfolds to reveal a tropical pool party with a water-filled pool and includes miniature Lila and mermaid toys.
Children can engage in a variety of imaginative play opportunities, including a water slide where dolls can descend into the pool, a palm tree swing, and a pineapple smoothie shop.

Great durability and value for money
A lovely polly pocket product that never ever disappoints, packed and made very well, strong and sturdy material, the girls love playing with this on a day to day basis and take it with them where ever they go!! has many cool different aspects to it which are made really well. Does not cause any mess, safe and easy to play with.

Oh wow. I recommend this as it is a cool toy for children. But considering the price would be nice as it is a polly picked and those do come in pricey and a tiny bit expensive. But I would still say this is a nice toy and for children and any ages honestly in my opinion. Cool how you can just carry it around in a store and then pull our your toys when your bored. Amazing. Would recommend. So I give it five stars. I think worth it but if you do not think so I think you should consider.
Great for children's imaginatio
This is a fun item that lets children use their imagination to the limit.
My grandchildren were already familiar with Polly Pocket so were looking forward to this. The Polly Pocket Watermelon Pool Party Compact is shaped like a watermelon slice. It opens up to a tropical pool party with a pool that can be filled with water and comes with micro Lila and mermaid dolls.
There are lots of activities for children to use their imagination such as a water slide where the dolls slide down into the pool, a palm tree swing and a pineapple smoothie stand.
Polly Pocket toys are ideal for compact fun where children are free to use their imagination.
Lots of fun and easily transported around.
Charming piece but no Polly included
A nice offering from Polly pocket which seemed more reminiscent of the 90s Polly sets than previous offerings. Folds up into an attractive carry case resembling a watermelon. The set includes 12 pop and swap pieces in addition to 2 characters. I wasn’t certain these characters were Polly herself so you may want to consider that if you don’t already own a Polly. A big hit with my 9 year old niece nonetheless.
Good Old Fashioned Imagination Play

This is a lovely little Polly Pocket play set by Mattel. The watermelon set is aimed at children 4+. I’m pleased to see that Polly Pocket has reverted back to the smaller size. Still not as small as the originals, but definitely better than the larger sized.
Like all Polly’s this set is fun to play with and enjoy pretend and rolling playing etc. I love the way like the original ones this folds in half to keep everything nice & safe inside.
The price is very good value, and it’s well loved by my Niece.
Summer fun!
This the first scented Polly Pocket I’ve seen! It’s shaped like a melon slice and is very summery and fun. It comes with two dolls, one dressed like a mermaid, plus a corgi and some fun beach type accessories.
The set is a fun, beach vibe with crystal clear waters for swimming and tripical scenery.
There’s lots of beautiful details and has become a firm favourite with my daughter. So much to do and a lot of fun too. Brilliant set, great value, would happily recommend!
Good Fun Polly Pocket Pool Set... But How'd The Mermaid Get There & Why?
I got this for my daughter who loves Polly Pocket and (it just so happens), has taken a liking to Watermelon recently. How could this gift fail?
It can’t. The figures are as small and mighty as ever, this time in a Watermelon compact with tiny interactive features that small fingers can play with. Open it up and it’s a tropical poolside, complete with pool (which can be filled with water), pool slide and a rather cool pineapple smoothie bar.
Though you don’t actually get Polly herself, you do get two figures (more on that in a bit), and a good number of accessories. Throw in the “Scratch-N-Sniff” throwback to my childhood and you have an awesome watermelon smelling set.
The only thing I’m not sure of is why a mermaid figure? My adult brain is confused about how (and why) she got to the pool from the sea? I guess I just need to go with it and let it slide 🙂
Compact toy for imaginative play
What I love about the Polly Pocket toys is that they give hours of imaginative play but don’t take up a lot of room so they are easy to store and we can keep several of them at home for our grandchildren to play with when they come round. This one, the watermelon pool party, is really well-made with amazing attention to detail. It all packs away into the watermelon carrier and the whole thing only measures about 5 x 4 x 2 inches! It’s the perfect toy to take out too, it can be played with at a table in a pub or restaurant without getting in the way, and it makes no mess. At just under 16 it’s good value and makes a perfect gift for a child.
Lovely
Great portable polly pocket set. So many different accessories and fun features. The carry case is watermelon shaped when closed and opens out to create the play base. All the accessories included fit inside the case which is fantastic but things like the slide have to be detached first before you are able to close it. Two dolls are included, one girl and one mermaid. There is a scented patch on the case, a slide, numerous peg spots for the many accessories included, little hiding spaces, smoothie stand and a swimming pool. My daughter loves it and loves hanging it from her wrist and dancing about when she isn’t playing. Good value for money. Would recommend.
Good accessories included - Scented case - Real water pool
This well made and original Polly Pocket compact has been well received by our daughter who’s got a few different bits but she seems to have locked onto this a little. The compact opens to allow the pool to be filled with water to setup a proper pool scene. As you would expect its well made and comes with a decent variety of accessories.
My daughter loves it, but hard to close with all the parts
My daughter loves this Polly Pocket Watermelon Pool Party Compact. Easy to take on the go to keeps her occupied in the car or when out and about.
There’s lots of small parts so unsuitable for very young kids and care must be taken not to lose them.
It is impossible for a four year old to pack it all away so it closes. Its like Tetris and requires careful placement to optimise the space to shut.. more space should have been given for all the bits.
Can also be a bit hard to but some of the bits in place.
However overall my daughter loves it and that’s the main thing. Definitely at the top end of what I would pay for it at 15.99

This was such a perfect gift for my 5 year old daughter.
Easy to bring anywhere,
This toy set came with nicely brightly pink casing.
It’s eye-catching straight away, gorgeous colours and inviting packaging.
Great small parts and pretty detailed.
Not recommended for babies as the accessories are really small.
My daughter found it super easy to play and it kept her entertained and excited for a good while.
Good compact toy
Excellent small compact toy for child to play at home with, or take with them for the day. Lots of imagination play. As the accessories included can be moved around anywhere you want, or even fixed onto the built in pegs to keep from moving about. 4yr old loved it, and was happy to play with this on and off all day. Once we found a good order to put the accessories in, to close the melon case. It was easy and quick to store away. Plus doesn’t take up much room. The open and close clasp is easy for child to use. Although I thought it might pop open by itself, when child was carrying it about. But so far it hasn’t. And I wouldn’t hesitate to start collecting more in the series. The Toy and accessories are mini size. But for little child fingers, not a problem. Due to her young age, obviously we still supervise playing with small toys like this. But this is another good fun toy for her to learn not to put in her mouth etc, which she hasn’t even tried to. I can certainly see this being a fun toy for slightly older children as well. Especially being able to collect the series in it. Lastly the little melon on the front of closed case, actually smells when scratched of yummy strawberries. And both the tiny two figures included, can be bent to sit as well as stand up.

Great little Polly Pocket set, i’ve collected these for 2 of my granddaughters and they never tire of them.
Good price at 16 as there is quite a lot of items to play with.
Smells of watermelo
My little niece is going to love this when she next visits me, I have many that get played with by visiting children.
This one is typical but different, it has the usual tiny figures including a cute little mermaid and is set around a tropical pool party. When closed it’s shaped like a slice of watermelon and smells like one.
Price is good and cheaper than I’ve seen in some other outlets.
Handbag size, water-melon themed dolls house
This enduring plastic Polly Pocket is a watermelon-themed, snap-shut, portable beach scene. It contains lots of tiny and miniature parts, many of which are removable. The detailing is good but I could not find room to close this shut with the parasol!
This set is super for creative and imaginative little girls who enjoy role playing – but beware of the small pieces getting lost or being found by oral-stage infants or pets. Great for encouraging fine and small pincer handling skills!

Polly Pocket, is it gender stereotyped? Yes, probably but they are just so cute, what’s not to love?
Part of the fascination of these toys are all the little tiny details and pieces included. Is all really cleverly designed for the market is aimed at and is cute and fun.
My great-niece which is 8 will love this!
Watermelon surprise
I collect the new Polly pockets and this one really surprised me. The use of raised printed details work so well and I really hope they continue to do this. It also smells amazing. It’s a water play compact which makes it especially appealing to kids. My 5 year old happily played with it for ages.
I think this would make a great end of the school year summer treat for a child.
